During the time when Nora and Conner were in Pearls' gem in search of her phone, Robin was telling the League and the Titans about him eavesdropping on Conner and Noras' conversation the other day and he even told them that Conner revealed the mission and his super identity to Nora, and that really puts everyone on edge.
"WHAT?! He told her everything!" shout out Green Lantern
"Is he really that foolish to expose himself and the mission?" questioned Martian Manhunter
"But why would he tell her in the first place?" asked Starfire
"Crap, this may have been my fault" spoke out Superman with a worried look on his face.
That got everyone's attention and they all turned their heads to look at him.
"What do you mean by that, Clark?" asked Batman
"It was after we had our meeting about the gem locations and the Diamonds, Conner told me that felt guilty about exploiting Nora after she showed him and Robin almost all the gem locations and for keeping it all a secret, including his hero identity" responded Superman "So, I told him about my situation with Lois Lane, I explained it to him and he must've taken the advice on another direction" added Superman with his eyes looking downward.
"He must've thought out a plan to tell her after your conversation" stated out the Flash
"So where is he now?" asked Blue Beetle
"The tracker in his jacket showed that his last location was in the Universes' house and then it vanished" spoke Cyborg
"And it wasn't like the last time when he went off-planet, this time it just vanished, it's like he disappeared" added Martian Manhunter
"Looks like we have no choice but to go the Universe residence and finally meet the Crystal Gems, face to face" stated out Batman, as he stood up.
Everyone stared at him wondering if it's now time for them to meet and confront them but they want to make sure that they weren't trying to make it look like an attack, so they all gave it a thought, and eventually someone spoke out.
"I'm afraid Bruce is right, everyone head straight to the Universes' house," said Wonder Women "we're going to meet one of the first beings who protected this planet and see what we can learn from them in person" added Wonder Women as she stood up from her seat while looking at all the heroes.
All the heroes looked at one of another almost like in a telepathic way then they all agreed to go there, so without wasting another second they all started heading towards the Metropolis temple. Everyone went on their own way of transportation to reach the destination, unnoticed, and once they got there some of them started to admire the good work of covering the cave with the beach house and the asphalt driveway/road.
"Wow, they did a great job with the construction, it almost like the house is blending with the rocks," said Green Lantern
"Now's not the time to admire the house, Hal," said the Flash narrowing his eyes at Green Lantern
"What?, I'm just admiring the hard work that the constructive workers had done to make this and, surprisingly, keeping this a secret," stated Green Lantern holding both his hand up in a surrendering manner at the Flash
"Knock it off, both of you, we're here greet the Crystal Gems and Nora and to just admire the architecture of the house" stated out Martain Manhunter
The heroes were right in the front door, batman in front of them, rang the doorbell and now are waiting for someone to open the door after a few seconds had passed and Nora opened the door and was shocked to see all the heroes in her front door, now if it were any other day she would be excited to see real superheroes, but with the situation of them spying on her and just finding out that her mom was Pink Diamond, it's a little awkward for Nora at the moment.
"Uh... Hi?" greeted Nora awkwardly
"Hello Ms. Universe, I think you know why we're all here," said Batman
"Yeah...Pretty much, and you guys kind of arrived at a very bad moment" explained Nora to the heroes
"Why do you say that?" asked Martain Manhunter
Nora then let all the heroes in the house and into the living room where the Crystal Gems and Conner are and began to explain what just had happened and who her mom really was, by the time Nora was finished everyone was in complete shock.
Nobody said anything and were trying to process what Nora told them until finally, Amythest spoke out while holding her to calm her headache
"Let me get this straight: Rose Quartz, leader of the Crystal Gems, Noras' mom, was actually PINK DIAMOND!" she exclaimed out loud
"One of the same leaders of Homeworld, the leaders that are in charge of taking life from planet to planet to create more new colonies, actually betrayed her own kind" spoke out Starfire with widening eyes
"She faked her own shattering and reformed to be Rose all the time," said Nora as she gestures her gem hidden underneath her shirt
"Pink Diamonds' finally command to me was that no one could know," said Pearl "But now that Nora does, I can finally tell you all everything" added looking relieved
"But still, Pink Diamond gave up her status just to protect the earth" questioned, Raven, with some heroes, nodded in agreement with her
"Whew! I mean, a pink lion, a pink sword and now Pink Diamond!" Amythest shout out "Huh if you told me that Rose invented cotton candy I'd believe it, right Garnet?" she then nudges to Garnet, who had been completely silent and sat still the whole time.
"Uh, Garnet?" asked out Conner as she stood up from her seat and walked closer to the warp pad
"Rose... S-she...she...." Garnet then grunted as if she were in pain, then suddenly she came undone and showed Ruby and Sapphire where Garnet once stands, surprising the heroes again.
"Sapphire-" Ruby was about to speak but Sapphire cut her off
"SHE LIED TO US! She lied about everything!" screamed Sapphire as ice was forming around her and on the floor
"She held our hands, looked us right in the eyes, and told us to never question who we are as Garnet. We never questioned ourselves or her!" added Sapphire
"We couldn't have known!" said Ruby
"No, you couldn't have known. You never know what's going on. That's what I'm for!"
"Sapphire..."
"But I never looked into her, I trusted her...I let her made fools of us all" Sapphire then walk right on the warp pad
"Sapphire, wait!" yelled Ruby as she went after Sapphire
"Guys!" shout out Nora as she was trying to go after them but slipped on the ice and ended up falling on the floor
Just as Sapphire stood on the warp pad, Ruby tried to talk to her
"Please...we can just s-stay clam a-and talk about this, right? Let's just talk"
"Talk about what? How our relationship is based on a lie? What else is there to say..." said Sapphire, crying before warping to another location, Ruby then drops to her knees
"Ruby? I'm so sorry" apologized Pearl
"Come on, Pearl. Help me explain everything to Sapphire," said Nora as she carefully stood on the ice
"Right" stated Pearl as she walked to the warp pad
"Conner, you're coming along with me," she spoke to Conner and then turned to the heroes, "Conner told me that you put a tracking device on him that way it'll be easier for all of us to find out where we are and to find out where Sapphire went, it's most likely a gem location" stated Nora to the heroes
"On it" responded Superman and all the heroes went outside to get ready to find Conners' location
"Sit tight, Ruby. We'll go and get Sapphire" Nora said to Ruby
"Okay..." replied Ruby with tears falling from her eyes then pursued to cry as Pearl, Conner, and Nora warped to find where Sapphire went, they've gone to a few places but they didn't find her, then finally they warped to Roses' healing fountain and took notice that a big drop of temperature in the area, giving them a hint telling them that Sapphire is there.
As they were looking around, the heroes found them and helped with the search, they soon started to walk towards where it's getting colder and seeing snow falling.
"Maybe she's here?" questioned Pearl as they all walk through the entrance of the fountain, to see it completely frozen and seeing Sapphire there with her head down on the edge of the fountain
"Sapphire!" yelled out Nora as she, Pearl and the heroes ran up to her but sharp ice came up to stop them from approaching her
"Everything we were running from, she was right there all along, using us for her.. little war, smiling at us with those knowing eyes, making me believe in a better future that I couldn't see, because it wasn't real, and now here we are, our friends; shattered, and corrupted," spoke Sapphire with her head still down as everyone got around her and some had their guard up in case Sapphire is going to use her powers again, then Sapphire got her head up moving aside her bangs showing her one eye.
"of course she was a Diamond, what a long run she took... to torture us like this" added Sapphire before she put her head down again, then Nora kneeled down next to her
"It wasn't like that!" reassured Nora as she put her hand on Sapphires' shoulder
"you know she wouldn't want anyone to get hurt" she added
"I don't know that! I clearly don't know anything" said Sapphire
"You deserve to know everything," said Pearl catching the attention of everyone
"I was given to Pink Diamond just a few thousand years before she was given the earth, I was supposed to make her happy, I just... never could" added Pearl as she then explained on who she was trying to cheer up Pink Diamond when Pink wanted to interact with the Amystest soldiers, giving her the idea of shapeshifting into a Quartz soldier to go undetected and go looking around the planet.
"So, it was all just so that she could get out and have some fun?" questioned Batman
"Well, that's how it started," replied Pearl
Pearl then went on, on how she and Pink went exploring the planet and saw how much life there is when Pearl got to the part when Pink saw what her colonization would do if she were to continue with the colony, thus opening her eyes on what a terrible thing that Diamonds were doing to every planet they've invaded.
"So she did want to protect earth, she didn't realize what the colony was doing to the planet" stated Conner
"SO WHAT! Suddenly she started to care about earth?" Spoke out loudly Sapphire "Why did she have to rope us into all this? Why couldn't she just stopped the colonization herself?!" added Sapphire
"She tried," answered Pearl "When she told the other Diamonds she didn't want to go through with the colony; they told her to finish what she started, when she told the other Diamonds she wanted to preserve life on earth; they created to the zoo and through a handful of humans in, she did everything she could as Pink Diamond, but her status meant nothing to Blue and Yellow. So she decided to make a stand as someone they couldn't ignore" said Pearl
The heroes were fascinated by the story, of what Pink Diamond had tried to do to prevent the colony to save the earth, and a big question in Green Lanterns' head was that they made a zoo for humans.
"She was going to scare every gem off the planet, but everything changed when she saw.. Your fusion"
Pearl then continued the story on how Pink was amazed by seeing an entirely new fusion, Pearl tried to fuse with her, bringing Pearl to believe that she ran away to be free, meeting Rose Quartz and ended the story with them meeting Garnet again, and by the end of the story Sapphire calmed down, melting away the snow and ice from the fountain.
"Before Garnet, Rose was only fighting for Earth but Garnet changed everything," said Pearl before projecting a scene of the past from her gem showing Rose holding Garnet while herself was laughing with them.
"Rose wanted to fight for her, she wanted to fight for gems!" added Pearl after she turned off the projection
"And maybe she was foolish, maybe even... selfish but- but she was-" Pearl was going to say something but she was cut off by Sapphire
"Following us.." said Sapphire quietly
"What?" asked Superman in surprise
"This whole time, we thought we were following her but she was following us," said Sapphire, then she turned to Pearl " how could she not after you swept her off her feet" added Sapphire
"Wha-what? Me?" said Pearl to Sapphire
"Are you kidding? You took her on this whirlwind tour of earth and then she wanted to live here with you forever" said Nora coinciding with Sapphire
"They're both right, Pearl, if it weren't for you earth, would seize to exist and none of us would be standing here right now," said Conner
Pearl began to blush at the three of them and turned to the heroes, and they all nodded and smiled in agreement.
"That's just how I felt when I came here with *Gasp* Ruby! Oh no! We have to get back right away" stated Sapphire urgently to everyone and without saying another word they all went back to the beach house in Metropolis.
Nora, Conner, Pearl, and Sapphire warped back to the beach house
"Ruby? I'm so sorry! Where..? Huh" called out Sapphire, but didn't get a response, they all looked around the living room to find Ruby, but then Sapphire sees a note on the floor that has her name on it.
"*Gasp* Oh no.."

A/N: OOff, another cliffhanger I put in there and sorry for the late update, now that Sapphire has calmed down, Ruby up and left, so how will this go down? Will Nora be able to find Ruby? What will the Heroes do now? Will everything be different now that everyone knows who Rose Quartz's true identity?
