A Visit at the park

It was morning the birds were chirping the sun had risen and your alarm clock had struck, it was around 10 AM when it had rung. Y/n lazily grabbed her phone and shut the alarm off sandy eyes still in motion, Still tired she groaned and laid in bed for a few minutes before rubbing her eyes and actually getting up sitting at the edge of her bed. Y/n was still very tired since she'd stayed up till around 4 am texting Alec Benjamin her best friend and secretly her crush but Alec doesn't know it yet or it'll ruin their friendship in y/ns eyes.
Y/n rubbed her eyes once again and looked over at the calendar beside her bed June 13 2020 and that's when your eyes widened, today's the day you get to see Alec after 3 dreadful months in quarantine. You couldn't be more excited, you missed Alec so much nor could you ever stop thinking about seeing his face and hearing his voice in person again, sure you can facetime or call to see or hear people but meeting someone in person is completely different in y/ns point of view.
Y/n quickly looked at the clock and realizes that she was wasting time since they were gonna meet at the park around 1 pm. So you hoped out of bed and headed to your bathroom, you started to do your daily routine like brushing your teeth, taking a shower, brushing your hair- etc but then It was time to choose the outfit. She opened her closet and picked out a crop top and a skirt
That's the outfit I want y/n thought to herself as she started to dress into it.
Once you finished changing y/n looked at herself in the mirror, she looked stunning y/n also decided to keep her hair open, her h/l and h/c glistening from the little light reflecting off the curtains. Soon Y/n made her bed and opened the curtains all the way letting the sun slobber upon her room
Y/n made her way downstairs and made her favorite breakfast f/b and ate it all up placing the dirty dishes in the sink, then she washed her hands and her lower part of the face after eating. She dried off and looked at the time again at 12:30 pm. Y/n grabbed her mask and placed it on then got her phone plus car keys, she left the house locking everything up making sure it's impossible for anyone to get in the house.
After doing so y/n hopped into her car and set out towards the location of the park.
While heading there she remembers that she and Alec had always gone there every week on a Saturday to catch up on stuff, sometimes you guys would even spend the night at each other's homes.
The drive was pretty Short and y/n got to her destination around 12:40, so she hopped out of the car making sure she'd locked it before heading forward. Y/n decided it would be nice to sit on a nearby bench her h/l h/c flowing with the wind, she knew she had gotten to the park a bit earlier but honestly in your eyes, you liked the quiet you thought it was somewhat soothing.
Y/n enjoyed the view of the playground in the distance and trees around her but lost track of time, she wiped out your phone it was already 1 pm. You've been sitting on that bench for 20 minutes
'Lovely ' you thought as she rolled her eyes, is Alec on his way o-
Right at that moment, Alec pops up behind you and lightly screams "Boo!" y/n jumps up almost getting ready to punch the person behind her only to realize it was Alec.
"Stupid ass don't do that! You scared me!" you shouted lightly.
Alec was laughing so hard anyone could hear him from a mile away, in shakey breathes he decided to blurt out
"You should have seen that look on your face"
Y/n huffed and looked away from him teasingly Alec pouted and said "Don't be like that y/n look I'm sorry"
You turned back to look at him and smile, he sits next to you after having his fit of laughter
You guys catch up for a few hours, he tells you about everything that's been happening and how his music is blowing up more and more, you couldn't be happier for him because you knew that he deserves the best. But then he talked about all the hate he had got recently and y/ns blood couldn't help but boil.
Once y/n and alec caught up on stuff she checked the time, it was almost 6 pm. Y/ns eyes lit up by seeing the time and she looked back up at Alec, he currently had a confused look on his face.
"We've been chatting for 5 hours Alec," you say to him completely mind blown, he smiles and chuckles at that statement
Oh how she loves to hit the cute little laugh
"Yo haha I thought you wouldn't notice" She rolled her eyes playfully and lightly punched him he laughed again
"Hey, would you want to go get some ice cream? I mean since we haven't seen each other in a while" he said with his usual goofy smile across his face
" I don't mind," y/n says, trying to hold back a large smile. Alec nods and gets up y/n getting up with him
"Let's take my car, and then we'll come back over here" y/n nodded.
They started to walk back to the car, both of them got there only to see his shining new red mustang waiting for them, Alec decided to try being a gentleman and opened the door for you. Y/n hoped in and placed the set belt on. Y/n hoped in and placed the set belt on, Alec soon got in the driver seat as well and they went off
Both of you cracked up some jokes and Alec ended up getting lost, it ended up taking an hour to get there since it took Alec ages to find the place again and he insisted on not using a GPS, But they both soon got there and ordered. Y/n ordered f/ic and Alec ordered his favorite ice cream as well and both of you left after paying. You guys decided to take your ice cream back to the park as planned and have it over at that location. Once again they hopped in the car and headed out, this time it had only taken both of them 20 minutes to get to the park.
Alec and y/n sat back over by a nearby bench and started to eat ice cream in silence, not a bad silence just a more comfortable just calming enjoying one another's company.
The sun started to set off by the horizon making the sky look pink, y/n thought it looked absolutely stunning so you looked up at it for a while. Being the sneak Alec is he admired the way you would look up at the sky and Entwined his fingers in yours while you were distracted. Y/n felt his warmish coldish hands with hers a blush could be seen in her cheeks as Alec made this move, he put his ice cream bowl down on the floor making sure his hands weren't sticky and he used his other hand to make your head turn towards him.
A small smile could be seen on his face as Alec slowly whispered "You look cute pretty cute today y/n" y/ns face turned absolutely red at this Statement, Alec laughed at this and continued.
"It took me a while to understand my feelings but now I know where they belong and who they belong to, y/n I realized that I had feelings for you a few months ago and I didn't know what these feelings were but after not being able to see your face in person, not being able to hang out with your cheerful soul I realized my true feelings for you. I was wrong to go about other people when I couldn't see the gem that was right in front of me this whole time. I can't believe I'm saying this now when I should have before but will you be my girlfriend y/n?"
Y/ns eyes lit up as tears would form inside of them, she couldn't believe that this was happening right now, after having kept these feelings to herself she finally had her dream come true. Still, teary y/n nodded her head and said yes, Alec hugged her and went in for a small kiss on the lips.
The moment his soft warm lips made contact with y/ns is when she froze in complete shock but she quickly came back to life and kissed him back. It might have been short but it still was something.
Y/n shoved your face into Alec's chest with a completely red face as he chuckled and stroked her hair
And that was just the beginning of your love story :)
