Empyrean

An unknown abyss, reining above me.
I can not touch you, but I've always seen you.
All my years, my body has longed to fly among the birds that know you.
Perhaps, to dance on the water vapors that float within you.
Your changing colors mimic the beats of my heart.
Your light and darkness that your masses supply, quietly guide me through the timeline of my life.
And when my days and nights come to an end, I can only hope that I will ascend.
Up to your heights, I pray to go, to finally learn the truth of the many mysteries you withhold.
