Summer:
Soooo second challenge Fluff and I did. Basically we each chose a pokémon and both fuse it. So basically we can't see each other's art until we are done. Fluff has done lots of these in her acc anyways, for me it is the first time so it looks like crap :,)
I chose Dragonair (basically searched cool dragon pokémon) and Fluff chose Girafarig. For those of you who don't know/ need ref pic, here it is:

I just realized that the head seems a little small... oops.
Anyways, this art piece probably has the best line art I've ever done... XD
And well... I don't usually talk much about my own drawings so...

and i couldn't find any tutorials for the kind of underwater-ripple-effect-light-shading thing. So yay. Yea just don't look at it for too long and it would actually look good.
Oh and if you zoom in you'll see that i've added a texture to the scales :D
If you're wondering how the heck is the ocean so empty:
Anyways let's just say that this pokémon ate all the fishes and destroyed whatever corals if you're still thinking that the ocean is empty. (i'm just lazy)
I've been learning so much about digital art since I've started ahaha. So now i've implemented the usage of textures :) Also i think it's the same texture that [ini] used for the mermaid work. (short form cuz i forgot the full username) Like i don't know if it's considered weird but i've been observing their art really closely to improve my own XD

anywayssss i'm almost finished on the rlly long and annoying piece. it's not that hard but because i'm doing a fanart it's giving me extra stress and a lot of redos since it has to look good, have a touch of my own work and also look like the original work. I redid a lot of stuff therefore it took me so long. The lineart was terrible btw. school starts... really soon. so like this book would be empty for a little while XD but will probably post the art in a few days.
