"Can this jeep go any faster?" I practically yelled as I asked Stiles who was already speeding towards the school,

"I'm going 80," Stiles said as he swerved the jeep side to side, "if I go any faster will be in back to the future,"

"Fine, fine, I'm just freaking out over here," I mutter to him, and I see Stiles glancing at me then the road,

"Look, don't worry about anything that psychopath said," Stiles said trying to reassure me, "he's a murderer, you can't trust anything he says,"

"I guess," I said in low voice,

I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he called me. I knew I was only five when my parents died in the car accident, but I still remember them. I remembered their faces, their smiles, and anything I couldn't remember, I could watch on though home movies things my parents wanted to do.

Everything was documented, from my birthday to my last birthday with them. My ant tried to continue the tradition but after I turned ten she decided to stop. Maybe it was for the best, after the accident, I wasn't as happy as I was before.

"Leo!" Stiles shouted, I looked up to see we were in the school's parking lot, people were walking around and talking, "come on, we gotta find Scott!"

"Right," I called out as I jumped out of the jeep and we started to run towards the locker room, the closer got I saw Danny walking coming towards us, "Danny?!"

"Leo? Stiles? Where were you two?" Danny asked us,

"Making out in the woods," I said raising my eyebrows suggestively, and Danny looked taken back, "what do you think?"

"Uhh..." Danny started to say with confusion clearly on his face,

"Where's Scott?" Stiles asked in with stern expression,

"Locker room," Danny said, and without hesitation we moved passed him and ran towards the boys' locker room as fast as we could.

"Dude, we have a huge problem," Stiles said frantically as we entered the room,

"Trust me...I know," Scott said sounding exhausted, he was sat on a bench in a towel and I scrunched up my eyebrows in confusion,

"What happened to you?" I asked him, and he looked over at us with a tired expression,

"Peter," Scott answered with a sigh, "he and Derek were here, together,"

"What?" I asked with yelp,

"We left them fighting, and now there best buddies," Stiles said scratching his head,

"Yea, and there's more," Scott said before he began to tell us everything Peter showed him,

The next day I tried to act as normal as I could, but with everything Scott told me last night, about the fire, Laura, Derek's sister and the people peter had killed, I was pretty far past normal.

However, my limits were being tested as Allison invited Lydia and myself, out with her to go shopping, by that didn't seem like the case because here we were hiking through the woods. Lydia was groaning, Allison looked like she was about to become Nancy Drew, and I couldn't figure out which bothered me more, the fact that Peter and Derek were on the same side or that I just scuffed my boots for the fifth time since I got out of the car.

"Allison, when you said you needed to stop for an errand before we went shopping, a five-mile hike in the woods was not what I was expecting," Lydia said with a sign as we struggled to keep up with Allison,

"Yea, these boots were not made for walking," I said emphasising the fact that I wasn't too happy about being here,

"Before I forget, I wanted to ask if you're okay with something. Jackson asked me to the winter formal," Allison told us, completely ignoring our complaints,

"Did he?" Lydia asked trying to cover her true feelings,

"Ew," I groaned, Lydia glanced at me and I rolled my eyes at her,

"Huh, just as friends. But I just wanted to make sure you're okay with it first," Allison told her, and I rolled my eyes at them,

"Sure, as long as it's just friends," Lydia said almost out of breathe,

"Well, yeah, I mean, it's not like I would take him to the coach's office during lacrosse practice to make out with him or anything," Allison said and I could hear the spite in her voice, as she glanced over her shoulder,

"Uh, about that..." Lydia started to trail out,

"Here we go," I said with a chuckle,

After hearing Lydia explain her make out session with Scott, to which I already picked up on, Allison was kind of not bothered by it. She had this look determined look on her face, and I couldn't tell what it was about.

We walked further into the woods, before Allison stopped us and started to undo her bow and quiver. She took out an arrow and started to screw a large, shaped arrow head into the arrow.

"What does that do?" Lydia asked her, and I squinted at the item because I was curious as to if this was a werewolf hunting thing or not,

"We're about to find out," Allison said as she stood up, and took aim at a tree, she fired the arrow and as it struck the tree it exploded like a flare with a puff of smoke,

"Holy crap," I muttered with wide eyes,

"What the hell was that?" Lydia asked her,

"I don't know," Allison told her, I looked at her stance and she was unmoved, it was like this was natural to her,

Well...that was fun! Any more lethal weapons you wanna try out?" Lydia asked as we walked up to her, but a snapping sound made us look up, we paused and it came again this time further in the woods, but he couldn't see anything through the fog,

"Red flag," I whispered to them as another snap echoed through the woods, we looked back then forward again, "the red flag is going up, ladies,"

"Hold this," Allison said giving Lydia her bow,

"What? Why?" Lydia asked her, in a whisper,

"Because I thought I heard something," Allison whispered as she was taking off her gloves,

"So, what if you heard something?" Lydia questioned,

"So, I want to find out what that something is. Don't worry, it's probably nothing," Allison said as she started to walk off,

"Famous last words, there Allison," I muttered as I glared at her,

"Well, what if that nothing is something and that something is something dangerous?" Lydia asked quickly, and I could hear the worry in her voice,

"Shoot it," Allison snapped at her, and Lydia whimpered,

"She did not just leave us here," I said we watched Allison walk of into the woods,

Lydia and I stood there in silence as we waited for Allison to come back, and the more time that passed the more the god started to fade away. She soon came back looking upset, and sort of tired.

"What happened?" Lydia asked her,

"It was Scott, he was looking for me," Allison said as she walked pass us heading towards the car,

"He followed you out here," I asked with a chuckle that soon faded when I saw Allison wasn't happy at all,

"He wanted to return my necklace," Allison muttered,

I looked over at Lydia and she only shrugged at me. A teenager's heart was a fragile thing and it could be broken, shattered or bent in the easiest way. Allison was so heartbroken over Scott, and Lydia was just as broken over Jackson. On the other hand, I wasn't the most qualified to talk about this.

I knew I liked Derek but there was a lot of factors that stopped me from trying to pursue that. One of the biggest being our age difference, and plus I didn't even know how he felt about me, even though I'm pretty sure he tried to kiss me.

•••

It was early in the evening and I was home with my Aunt Marcy. She was in the kitchen cooking and I was by the kitchen island doing my homework, well trying to do it, but it became very difficult since I had a lot on my mind. The sound of the door bell ringing made me up look as my aunt walked over to answer the door.

"Marcy," a familiar voice said and I looked at the doorway to see my aunt hugging someone,

"It's been so long," my aunt said as she pulled away and smile at whoever it was, "I thought you were still in the hospital,"

Hospital? I didn't know she had a friend that in the hospital.

"Leo, come here," my aunt said to me with a cheery smile, I sighed as I got off the stool and walked over to the front door, "there someone I want you to meet,"

"Well this one better be really important..." I started to say but my voice faded away as I started at the man in the doorway,

"Hello Leo," Peter said to me with tight lipped smile,

"You..." I whispered as I started to back away from him,

"Leo, don't you remember Peter?" My aunt asked me with smile, I looked at her to see she was genuinely happy but I was confused as to how she knew him,

"Oh Marcy, it's been ages, I doubt he would remember me, last time I saw him he could still fit in my arms," Peter said with a smile and I couldn't tell if he was lying or not,

"Huh?" I asked as I looked between him and my aunt, "fit in your arms!?"

"Oh Leo, you don't remember him," my aunt said as she walked over and pulled me closer to Peter and I looked up at him, and he smirked at me, "Leo meet Peter, Peter meet Leo,"

I took a breathe as he extended his hand for me to shake it, and I shook it hesitantly.

"Hello Leo, I'm your godfather," Peter said with a devilish grin,

"Your my..." I asked as I backed away from them, "...godfather?"

"Yup, he was your father's closest friend," my aunt said with a smile, "Peter would you like to come in for dinner tonight?"

"Oh no Marcy, I would but I'm actually going out on a date tonight," Peter says as he took a step back out of the door onto the porch,

"Oh, out of the hospital and already stealing a hearts, so who's the lucky lady," My aunt asked him as I started to back away from them,

"She works at the hospital, a nurse actually," Peter said and I started to think about who he could be going out with, "I really must be going, don't wanna be late, and Leo?"

I looked at him with a glare and he only smiled at me, before saying, "you and I will have a chat later,"

"Well, your invited over anytime, have a good night Peter," my aunt said to him and he nodded with a smile,

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do," I snapped at him and he chuckled at me,

"And I was gonna say the same thing to you little Leo," he said with a chuckle before walking towards a car that was parked in front of our house, I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding, the room started to spin but I took a deep breathe and settled myself,

"Peter Hale is my godfather," I muttered to myself, it was shocking but recently everything was like water of a ducks back,

"Your parents were actually pretty close with the Hale family," my aunt said to me, as she closed the door then walked over to kitchen and continued cooking, "it's a pity that you don't remember him, you probably don't remember any of them,"

"Wait, I knew them? The entire Hale family?" I asked my aunt and she nodded, "did I know Derek Hale?"

"Well yes and no," my aunt started to tell me, and I looked at her with confusion, "yes as in whenever the Hales would come around your parents he was with them, but no as in he didn't really interact with you much as a baby,"

"But he knew of me?" I asked as I reached over and grabbed my phone,

"Oh most definitely, for your first, second and third birthdays he was there," my aunt said with a smile, I looked away from her as I looked down at my phone, contemplating whether or not I should call and ask him, but I something crossed my mind,

"Okay, that's weird, he knew me from the time I was a baby...? Why didn't he say anything?" I questioned myself before I looked up at my aunt, "Aunt Marcy? How well did you know the Hale family?" I asked her and I saw her flinch,

"I knew of them, but your father was closer associated with them," my aunt said and I could see something beneath her smile,

Yea, but did you know them?" I asked this time, and her expression faltered for a second but she regain her smile,

"Nope," she said pooping the P, she turned off the stove and spun around to face me, "well I'm gonna go wash my hands, you can choose something for us too watch and we'll get dinner started,"

Before I could say another word my aunt was up the stairs and gone. I rested my head on the kitchen island as this stared to feel so surreal. Everything in my life was out of my control and I didn't know how to handle it.

First the whole werewolf thing, then the hunters and my friend being one of them, the murders all over the town, Jackson and his slimy way and now this.

Life had a funny way of messing with me, and I wasn't having any of it. It was making me angry, that I couldn't stop anything from happening. That was making my head hurt and I hated it. I left out a breathe as I was trying to calm myself down but it wasn't working, I just wanted to hit something.

"Argh!" I snapped as I smashed my hand down onto the island, letting out a sigh, I dragged my hand across the table, only to hear a screeching sound, I looked down at the table to see five long jagged marks along the marble top, my mouth opened as my eyes landed on my hand, "oh, my, god,"
