"I never should have opened my door. I never should have yes. I never should have gotten in this car, and I'm never speaking to either of you again!" I snapped at Scott and Stiles as pressed down harder on the gas pedal,

"Your exaggerating," Stiles said from the back seat and I could hear the smile in voice, "we have like biology, P.E, and math together tomorrow,"

"I don't think he's exaggerating," Scott muttered to him, I looked in the mirror to see the SUV still following us, even though I was going about the speed limit,

"Could you drive a little faster," Stiles said slapping the seat, implying the necessity of us escaping,

"Could you slow down!" Scott shouted as he contradicted his best friend,

"I spend one, terror filled night inside the high school with you two, and suddenly your like a fever I can't shake," I complained to them, I slowed down the car as I took a right turn, then I sped up and shifted gears as I tried to lose the SUV that was chasing us,

"It's was Stiles' idea to bring you along," Scott said throwing Stiles under the bus, I glanced at the two in the rear view mirror as I drove closer to the industrial area of the town,

"Well duh, we scratch Derek's car, Derek scratch's us, with his claws might I add," Stiles said, I noticed Scott bringing his nose closer to the window, "on the other hand, if you scratch Derek's car, you'll be scratching him in a different way,"

"What's that supposed to me-" I started to yell,

"Turn right! Head towards the Iron Works factory," Scott said cutting me, I shifted gears and I swerved the car onto the road, as I drove us further into the area,

The road turned from solid asphalt to a dusty gravel, with what looked like railway tracks in them. I concentrated on driving fast without getting us killed in the process, however that wouldn't work to well with the dynamic duo, trying to back seat driving.

"Uh? Leo? I think you need to go faster," Stiles said to me, I glanced in the rear mirror to see the SUV inching closer and closer to us,

"Faster?" Scott asked him,

"Much faster," Stiles said to him, as I swerved the car down the road, before shifting the car into another gear increasing the speed,

"Faster it is," I said as I pressed the accelerator harder, I noticed the headlights of the SUV slowly fading back, but I also saw Scott flinching in the back seat,

"Scott, I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here," Stiles said to him,

"If he goes faster, he'll kill us," Scott said, but I was to busy focusing on driving,

"Well, if he does go faster, they're gonna kill us!" Stiles snapped at him, I shifted gears and sped up, "they're gone,"

At Stiles' words I looked in the mirror to see that they were in fact gone.

"All units, suspect is on foot heading into the Iron Works," the voice of the sheriff said through a Walkie-talkie that he kept,

I kept driving into the factory until we spotted Derek and I brought the car to a halt and Stiles reached forward and opened the passenger door.

"Get in," Stiles shouted, Derek ran over and jumped in the car, only for me to slam down on the accelerator as a hail of bullets started to hit the side of the car, the others flinched but I focused on driving,

"Are you okay?" I asked as I glanced over at him, trying to see if he was hurt, but he only nodded and I decided to accept that,

"What part of laying low don't you understand?" Scott asked in a concerned,

"Damn it, I had him!" Derek yelled as he hit the dashboard,

"Who, the Alpha?" Stiles asked as he leaned forward between the seats,

"Yes! He was right in front of me, and the friggin' police showed up," Derek said aggressively but he censored himself,

"Whoa, hey, they're just doing their jobs..." Stiles started to say but he stopped himself as Derek started to glare at him,

"Yeah, thanks to someone who decided to make me the most wanted fugitive in the entire state," Derek said looking back at Scott, and I tilted my head as I agreed with the statement,

"Can we seriously get past that? I made a dumbass mistake. I get it," Scott admitted,

"A very big dumbass mistake," I said with a scoff,

"All right. How did you find him?" Stiles asked trying to stare the conversation in a different direction, but Derek didn't answer him, he only looked out the window ignoring us,

"Can you try to trust us for at least half a second?" Scott asked him, I drove the car back onto to the normal road,

"Please, were only trying to help?" I asked him, he looked over at me, but kept his lips sealed,

"Yeah, all of us," Stiles said but Derek glared back at him and Stiles began to cower away, "Or just them, I'll be back here,"

"Look the last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out. She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris," Derek said to us, and at the mention of the last part Stiles flung back in between the seat,

"Our chemistry teacher?" Stiles asked dramatically,

"I always knew he was evil," I muttered to myself, but they all heard me,

"Why him?" Scott asked Derek,

"I don't know yet," Derek admitted,

"What's the second?" Scott asked him,

"Some kind of symbol," Derek said pulling out a piece of paper, I glanced over to see that it looked oddly familiar, however, I heard hear Scott grimacing in the backseat, "What? You know what this is?"

"Wait? Where have I seen that before..?" I started to ask as I waited for him,

"I've seen it on a necklace," Scott started to say, and we all waited for him to continue, "Allison's necklace"

•••

After getting away from the hunters and the police, Scott and Stiles told Derek to hide out while they tried to figure out a plan. On the other hand, Derek told me he was impressed with my driving skills, as I escaped Botha car chad and a hail of bullets.

The next morning at school was oddly calm, after everything I hated happened the night before. I avoided Scott and Stiles as i didn't want to get involved with them after last time. They kept dragging me into this craziness, and I'm not sure if it's the fact that Derek is also included, or the teenagers instinctively seeking adventure.

Lunch came around and I was sitting with Lydia, Allison and Jackson which I stomached. I was listening to them talk about everything and anything. Jackson got up and after a while the peace of the cafeteria to be ruining by Scott yelling.

I was Lydia as she was going over some chemistry homework, when he phone left lit up with a text. She glanced over the text and practically screamed. I leaned over and read it, and I didn't know whether to be angry or upset.

"Is he breaking up with you?" I asked but I had to stifle my laugh as I could tell she was clearly upset, "and he asking back for his house key?"

"I don't think so, not if I can say anything about it," Lydia said as she stormed out of the classroom into the crowded hall,

"Oh I'm not missing this," I muttered as I followed her out,

"Jackson! This little text...not funny!" Lydia said aggressively as she talked to him, while I leaned back on the wall and watched this mess unfold,

"No, I wasn't trying to be funny. I would have put a "ha ha" at the end of it. And, see, there's no "ha ha." Jackson said in I don't care voice,

"Lydia, please give back my spare house key at your earliest convenience - As we are no longer dating"? She said repeating the text,

"You didn't lose it, did you?"

"She didn't asshole," I snapped at him, but Jackson only looked at me with a smirk,

"What the hell is this?" Lydia asked in a low voice,

"Well, Lydia, in preparation for some big changes, I've decided to drop some of the dead weight in my life. And you're just about the deadest," Jackson said to her without a care in the world,

"Your are such an ass," I grimaced at him,

"And one day your gonna find how much of an ass I am," he said to me, and I physically gagged at him,

"Are you breaking up with me?" Lydia asked completely ignoring our conversation,

"Dumping, actually. I'm dumping you," Jackson said to her, before trying to walk away, but Lydia grabbed him by the arm,

"Dumped by the co-captain of the lacrosse team. I wonder how many minutes it'll take me to get over that," Lydia said to him, but he walked away before Lydia could finish, "Wait, seconds, actually. Seconds!"

"That went well," I said sarcastically to her and she glared at me,

"Go talk to him," she said to me, and I squinted at her in disbelief, "I need answers, I want answers and your gonna get them for me,"

"Lydia, I love you, but is he," I said looking down the hallway at him, then I pointed at him, "that, really worth all the effort,"

I looked back her to see her face was starting to get puffy. Her eyes were turning red and I could tell she was on the verge of tears but was trying not to break down in the middle of the hall. She fixed her hair as she started to fidget back and forth, and I decided to give in, for her sake alone.

"Fine," I said with a whine, "pack up my stuff, bring it out of the lab while I go talk to the snake with legs,"

She sniffled as I walked away trying to catch up to the boy. He had exited the school and was about to get in his car but stopped as he saw me approaching.

"Suddenly deciding to join the winning team?" Jackson asked with a smirk,

"Enough with the sport references, and no, I'm just remembering your dad's a lawyer and I may get arrested for assault and battery," I said as I walked over to his car and stood only a few feet from him, "I'm only gonna ask you once, since I really don't wanna talk to you...but what the hell Jackson? Are you seriously breaking up with her?"

"I'm dumping her, yes," Jackson said with missing a beat,

"Why?! Because against all better judgement, and the countless times I've told her that your a cold blooded bastard, she does in fact love you, and yet your breaking up with her, in a crappy text," I said to him as I tried to exaggerate the fact that he was breaking her heart,

"Let me put it simple for you Leo," Jackson said as he put he bag on his car and took a step towards me and I instinctively took a step back, "the best thing that could ever happen to me, is about to happen, and my future is going to change, greatly, and Lydia's everything is gonna hold me back, so I needed to cut her loose,"

"Okay? What this best thing that's gonna happen to you?" I asked him, I folded my arms on my chest, as I was confused about all of this,

"Let's just say McCall's gonna be a great influence on my future," he said to me in a low voice and I paused,

He couldn't mean...becoming a werewolf right? I couldn't tell if that was a good thing, a bad thing or a funny thing.

"Jackson? Really? You seriously think that's gonna make your life better?" I asked with a chuckle, because I saw and knew what being a werewolf did to both Scott and Derek,

"You know? Of course you know, you were with McCall and Stilinski that night when we were running around the school," Jackson said more to himself than me, "and you went with Stilinski when Derek showed up at the school,"

"Well aren't you oddly observant," I with a fake smile,

"But that's only the first part, after I become a werewolf, I'll need someone who can handle being with a werewolf," Jackson said with a smirk and I paused as I waited for him to continue, "and since I just broke up with Lydia...I think I know the next best candidate,"

"You tried that little stunt before and it got you a fractured rib," I said reminding him of what happened during our freshmen year, "remember?"

"This time around, I'll be stronger, faster, more powerful, so you'll be the one with broken ribs," Jackson said with a smirk and something about the way he was talking made me believe him, so I took a step back, "and maybe I'll break a few other places while I'm at it,"

"Your a monster," I muttered as I turned and walked away from him, but I could feel his stares on my me as I walked back into the school to see a clearly upset Lydia standing near the door with my bag in her hands,

I took my bag from her, as we turned and walked out of the school together, making sure to avoid going in Jackson's direction.

•••

You know that unpleasant feeling you get whenever there's a fly buzzing next to your ear, and all you want to do is shoo it away or kill it? Yes, that feeling? That's how I feel whenever Stiles getting me involved in whatever plans he thought up. So here I am, walking into the Stilinski home, with a scowl on my face, and fear inducing glare in my eyes, as I followed Stiles up the chairs.

"Stiles you do know we have a lacrosse game tonight, right? And your first line and I'm supposed to be helping the coach? Right?" I questionned him as he opened a door and walked inside, and I noticed it was a bedroom,

"I know that, but right now I need your help," Stiles confessed to me, in a calm yet concerned voice,

"With?" I asked as I stepped inside his room, that oddly enough a similar shade of blue as mine,

"Being a buffer," Stiles said as he pointed to the corner of the room, my eyes followed his hand to see Derek sitting in a chair reading a book,

"Hi Der," I said causally as I looked back at Stiles, he stopped and stared at me, and I felt like I just missed something really important, then it hit me, "wait? Derek, What the hell are you doing here?"

Derek looked up from the book he was reading and glanced between the two of us. I looked at him and saw he had blood stains on his shirt, and he looked not to happy to be here, but he always looked like that.

"You all told me to hide from the cops, so I'm hiding," he said in unbothered voice,

"Yea but not in the sheriff's house," I snapped at him, and he glanced at me then looked back down, I was going to say something but the door bell rang,

"And that would be my plan arriving just in time," Stiles said as he ran out of the room, I sighed as I looked back at Derek, and though he had this constant scowl on his face, I got the sense that he was genuinely unhappy,

I stood there for a moment before Stiles returned with the last person I expected to see inside his house.

"Danny?" I questionned as the boy stepped into the room after Stiles,

"Leo, what are you doing here?" Danny asked as he took a few steps towards me and I started to smile at his eagerness to see me,

"Stiles wanted to um, talk about, lacrosse, so here I am," I lied to him with a forced smile, and Danny nodded, he looked at me with a smile before walking over to Stiles, however, the feeling of someone glaring at me made me look over to see Derek looking away quickly,

"I want you to trace a text," Stiles told the boy, without a please or explanation,

"Here we go," I muttered as I sat on Stiles' bed and watched this scene unfold,

"You want me to do what?" Danny asked Stiles as Stiles sat down by his desk,

"Trace a text," Stiles repeated,

"I came here to do lab work. That's what lab partners do," Danny said to him,

"And we will, once you trace the text," Stiles said as he tried to encourage him to do that,

"And what makes you think I know how?" Danny asked him, and I glanced over cause I was genuinely curious,

"I-I looked up your arrest report, so..." Stiles started to say,

"You were arrested!" I exclaimed with a smile and Danny gave me a weak smile,

"I-I was 13. They dropped the charges," Danny told us,

"Whatever," Stiles said shrugging it off,

"No, we're doing lab work," Danny said as he dropped his bag and pulled over the chair,

"Oh, my..." Stiles said with a groan,

"Plans working smoothly," I said sarcastically to Stiles and he only glanced back at me before turning to face Danny again,

"Who's he again?" I heard Danny ask Stiles in a low voice, Stiles glanced back at me and I shrugged my shoulders as I didn't know what to say,

"Um, my cousin...Miguel," Stiles lies to him and I had to stifle a laugh, in the corner of my eye I saw Derek roll his eyes,

"Is that blood on his shirt?" Danny asked him, and I looked back to see he did in fact have blood on his shirt, was it his? I'm not to sure,

"Yeah. Yes. Well, he gets these horrible nosebleeds," Stiles told him before looking back at Miguel, "Hey, Miguel. I thought I told you you could borrow one of my shirts,"

At Stiles' word Derek got up and walked over to his drawers. However, what stole my attention, was the sight of Derek taking off his shirt, and my oh my, does he look delicious. Plus the whole tattoo on his back was oddly familiar, yet hot as it moved with each muscles he flexed.

"So anyway, I mean, we both know you have the skills to trace that text, so we should probably..." Stiles started to say,

"Uh, Stiles?" Derek Sid cutting him off,

"Yes?" Stiles answered, Derek turned to face us, and I'm pretty sure if i were a girl, I would have been pregnant from the sight alone,

"This....no fit," Derek said tugging the shirt but my eyes were focused on the things above the shirt, aka his pecs

"Ohh my gawd," I said in a whimper, "he's a hunk,"

"Then try something else on," I heard Stiles say to him, Derek looked from Stiles to me and I looked away but I think he saw me checking him out, "Sorry. Hey, that one looks pretty good, huh? What do you think, Danny?"

"Huh?" I heard Danny stutter, I looked over to see Danny was just as stunned as me,

"The shirt," Stiles said to him, I looked back to see Derek in one of Stiles' stripped shirt and I had to hold in a laugh,

"It's...it's not really his colour," Danny said with sigh, and Derek pulled off the shirt again showing off his body, and I crossed my legs because my teenage hormones are acting up,

"Yup, Yup, definitely not his colour," I said enthusiastically shaking my head, as I wanted to see him without his shirt even longer,

"You two swing for a different team, but you still play ball, don't you, Danny boy?" Stiles said to him in low voice,

"I heard that," I snapped at Stiles and he only shrugged it off.

"You're a horrible person," Danny said to him,

"I know. It keeps me awake at night. Anyway, about that text," Stiles said to him nonchalantly,

"Stiles! None of these fit!" Derek yelled at him, I took a good look at him, and I noticed the happy trail going down his lowered stomach to his...pants,

Derek was the whole package. He had some anger issues, but if you could work pass them, he would be a very nice man. Plus he was incredibly hot, I may have said that already but I'll say it again.

"I'll need the ISP, the phone number, and the exact time of the text," Danny said after looking at Derek, and Stiles did a little cheer,

"Here," I said in low voice ask got up and hand Derek a dark brown shirt which looked like it could fit him, "Stiles is using you to get Danny work for free,"

"I'm gonna kill him," Derek said as he took the shirt from me, I got a closer look at his abs and I could feel my face starting to flush,

"You can't, he's like a virus," I said in a low voice to Derek and he paused, "he'll keep coming back,"

"There" Danny said after working for a while, "The text was sent from a computer. This one,"

"Registered to that account name?" Derek said in disbelief,

"This just got more complicated," I muttered as I stared at the computer screen,

"No, no, no, no. That can't be right," Stiles said to him,

We all stared at the name on screen and I failed to believe that Miss McCall, Scott's own mother, would have been the one that lured the others to the school. It wasn't right.

•••

After Danny left to prep for the match, Stiles, Derek and I decided to go to the hospital and find out what was really happening. I didn't care too much about the match but I could clearly see how upset being here and not at the school was making Stiles, but he cared too much for Scott to not do this.

"Did you get the picture?" I heard Scott ask through Stiles phone,

"Yeah, I did, and it looks just like the drawing," Stiles confirmed to him,

"Hey, is there something on the back of it? There's gotta be something. An inscription, an opening, something," Derek said after grabbing Stiles hand and twisting it so he could speak into the phone,

"No, no, the thing's flat. And, no, it doesn't open. There's nothing in it, on it, around it, nothing. And where are you two? You're supposed to be here. You're first line, and the assistant manager," Scott said to Derek then to us,

"Where the hell is Bilinski? And Prince?" I heard coach yell in the background and I started to slouch in the back seat like he could see me through the phone,

"Man, you're not gonna play if you're not here to start," Scott said to Stiles, "and Leo coach looks like he's gonna explode,"

"He's was bound at some point, I'm just amazed it too him that long," I said from the backseat, as I looked out the window,

"We know. Look, if you see my dad, can you tell him...tell him I'll be there, I'll just be a little bit late, okay? All right, thanks," Stiles said to Scott before hanging up,

"You're not gonna make it," Derek deadpanned to him,

"I know," Stiles replies,

"And you didn't tell him about his mom, either," Derek said before looking forward,

"Not till we find out the truth," Stiles said with a sigh,

"And it couldn't be Miss McCall, she couldn't, wouldn't, do something like that," I muttered from the backseat,

"By the way, one more thing," Derek said before looking at Stiles,

"Yeah," Stiles said, Derek reached over and slammed his head into the steering wheel with a loud thud, and I winced at the sound, "Oh, God! What the hell was..."

"You know what that was for. Go. Go!" Derek said to him before Stiles climbed out of his jeep,

"I'm scared and slightly turned on," I muttered as I reached forwards and moved the seat so I could get out,

"You're going with him?" Derek asked as I closed the door,

"My aunt works here, I was constantly in and out of this place as kid," I said to him with smile, Derek's face softened but I started moved off to catch up with Stiles, "plus I know a lot of the nurses, with this jawline and a few smiles, I can get us inside without Stiles' talking too much,"

Lucky for us, there weren't to many nurses on standby during the night shift, however we could find Miss McCall, so stiles and I decided to go to the elevator and reached the floor that Derek said his uncle was on.

"Huh? Something about this isn't right," I said to stiles as we walked down the hall,

"How?" Stiles questioned as we turned the corner, I looked down the hall and saw no one,

"Stiles, when have you ever been in a hospital, with it being this eerily quiet, or empty?" I asked him and that's when he started to look around, only to look at me with confusion on his face, "also Derek said his uncle was a werewolf like him,"

"Yea, so," Stiles muttered as we walked towards were the nurses should be but not shockingly no one was there,

"Stiles, we've both seen Derek and Scott heal from some pretty bad wounds, in a matter of seconds, the Hale house fire was years, so tell me, if Derek's uncle, a werewolf, survived the fire, why the hell has he's still in the hospital?" I asked Stiles as he pulled out his phone,

"Scott said that when he came here with Derek the dude was just sitting in the chair staring off into space," Stiles told me as he started to call Derek,

"Okay so maybe it's a mental problem? But, last I checked, Beacon Hills memorial, doesn't a psych ward, so why the hell is he in the ICU, and not Eichen House," I said as a statement, and I could see the gears turning in Stiles head,

"We're here, and we can't find her," Stiles said into the phone, "Yeah, I said, we can't find her,"

"Look, ask for Jennifer. She's been looking after my uncle," I heard Derek say through the phone, we walked to the room, and found it and the wheel chair were both empty,

"Yeah, well, he's not here either," Stiles told him,

"Told you Something was wrong," I muttered as I stepped into the room and looked around

"What?" I heard Derek say, and that's when I noticed how much better my hearing got over the pass few days,

"He's not here. He's gone, Derek," Stiles said to him, but then their was a pause, I looked back at Stiles to see him shrug his shoulders at me,

"Stiles, get out of there right now...it's him! He's the Alpha! Get out!" I heard Derek shout and I felt that sinking feeling from the night at the school came back to me, Stiles lowered the phone from his ear and I saw dread on his face, so I moved to walk out of the room,

Stiles looked to right, and I followed his line of sight to see a man with a scared face looking at us. Something about him was familiar yet distant, but I didn't know what.

"You must be Stiles," he said and the nerves in my body shivered at his voice alone, "and little baby Leo, look how big you've grown,"

My breath hitches as he called my name, and my body froze. Confusion and concern were the only things I could process, as I stared at the man before us. I felt someone pulling me, and I moved with them only to see it was Stiles pulling me back.

"What are you doing here? Visiting hours are over," a nurse said as she walked up to us, making stop,

"You..and him. You're...you're the one who. Oh, my...and he's...Oh, my God, We're gonna die," Stiles said as he finally connected the dots while I stared at the man, but a thud made me look back at the nurse to see a clearly pissed of Derek looking at us,

"That's not nice. She's my nurse," the Derek's uncle said to him,

"She's a psychotic bitch helping you kill people. Get out of the way," Derek said to him then us,

"Oh, damn," Stiles groaned before dropping to the floor,

"How? How do you know?" I asked the man, but he only smiled at me,

"Leo, move," I heard Derek say with a growl, so I decided to get down on the floor and crawl next to Stiles though I wasn't happy about of this,

"You think I killed Laura on purpose? One of my own family?" He asked Derek but Derek growled, his fangs came out and his eyes flashed blue as he lunged at him, but he caught Derek and slammed him into the wall,

Stiles crawled away and I followed him as I couldn't do anything to stop two werewolves fighting. We got away from the But the sounds of grunts and groans filled the air.

"You want understanding. Do you have any idea - What it was like for me during those years? Slowly healing, cell by cell. Even more slowly coming back to consciousness. Yes, becoming an Alpha, taking that from Laura pushed me over a plateau in the healing process. I can't help that," I heard him say to Derek from behind the counter, then bones cracking, groans and shattering glass soon followed,

Stiles and I had managed to go in the opposite direction from the two as we didn't know how or if we could even stop them. I wanted to help Derek but everything about this was wrong.

"He called me "little baby Leo," I said to Stiles as we ran out of the hospital,

"What?" Stiles asked frantically as we ran towards his jeep and climbed inside, "What does that have to do with all of that?"

"My dad," I muttered, and there was a paused, I looked at Stiles to see him looking at me with his eyes brows frowned, "My dad's the only person who ever called me that,"

I know this chapter is a little long, but there was a lot that's about to happen, in these last few chapters. I apologise for the late updates but I hope you all are enjoying the story so far.
