3rd POV
Just as Tsurugi was about to head for the field.
Tsurugi: "Wha- Who?!"
His eyes were covered by a pair of hands. Everyone turned at Tsurugi's sudden yell.
Tsurugi: "What the heck is-"
???: "Hehe... interesting reaction, Tsurugi!"
Tsurugi: ! "That voice..."
The person remove their hands from Tsurugi's eyes and when he turned around to look.
Miria: "Hello!"
Tenma: "Miria!"
Aoi: "Miria-chan!"
Tenma, Shinsuke, and Aoi ran up to Miria and Tsurugi.
Shinsuke: "What are you doing here?"
Aoi: "Didn't you go to America?"
Miria: "Hehe, nope! My mom changed her mind."
Tenma: "Really?!"
Miria: "Mhm. From now on, I'll be coming to school with you all again."
Tenma and Shinsuke looked at each other before crashing onto Miria and hugging her tightly.
Miria: "Wha! H-Hey! That hurts you know!"
Aoi: "But if that's true why didn't you come to see us earlier?"
Miria: "Well, my mom had to make some changes to my application."
Shirabe: "Change?"
Shirabe joined in the conversation.
Miria: "Yeah. Like my name."
Tenma: "Name?"
Miria: "Hehe, I'll be using my real name in school now. Miria Alexandrite. I prefer if you call me by my first name though haha."
Tenma: "Okay!"
Shinsuke and Tenma let go of Miria and everyone started laughing. Miria peeked to side looking at Tsurugi. He smiled at her and she smiled back brightly.
Miria POV
Finally on the day of the match they finished the new tactic. Tsurugi sighed but was smiling.
Tenma: "We did it!"
Shinsuke: "That was amazing, Tsurugi, Tenma!"
Tenma came from behind Tsurugi while Shinsuke came from in front of him and as they were just about to hug him... Tsurugi walked away from them so Tenma and Shinsuke ended up hugging. Then didn't seem to mind though.
"Haha..."
Tsurugi came up to me and I handed him a water bottle.
"Good work!"
Tsurugi: "Yeah."
Endou: "Okay guys, it's time to go!"
Everyone: "Yes sir!"
Then everyone got in the caravan.
Hikaru: "My first match... I'm so excited!"
Shinsuke: "Oh yeah! Shouldn't we give the hissatsu tactics a name?"
Aoi: "Now that you mention it..."
Tenma: "Kariya! Got any ideas?"
Kariya: "Me again?"
Tenma: "Yeah."
Kariya: "Hm... It involves the two of you running through, so... R... Run-Run-Running?"
*Slience*
Everyone: "Soooooo lame!!"
Everyone started laughing.
Tenma: "R...Run-Run-Running...! That's so brilliantly lame!"
Aoi: "No way, never ever!"
Kariya: "T-Then what's a better name?"
Hikaru: "A hurricane that comes in from both sides. How about Double Wing?"
Shinsuke: "Cool!"
Tenma: "Let's go with that!"
"Sounds great."
I felt someone's eye on me and when I turned to look, I saw Tsurugi quickly look away. I chuckled.
I wonder if he missed me?
When we got to the stadium the doors to it opened.
Akane: "It's cold..."
Aoi: "Was the air-conditioning lowered too much by mistake?"
Midori: "Not at this level, it ain't."
Tenma: "Eh?! What is this place?!"
Amagi: "It's frozen solid..."
Shindou: "This is today's field?"
Kakuma: Today's game between Raimon versus Hakuren takes place at... Snowland Stadium!
When we all started warming up it was really hard to do.
"It's so slippery..."
Hamano: "How does anyone expect us to play soccer on this? Oh."
Everyone looked over to see Hakuren warming up.
Kitaki: "Yukimura!"
Yukimura got the ball and then kicked it easily towards the goal.
Hamano: "Wow..."
Kirino: "They're used to playing on slippery fields."
Shindou: "Yeah, just what you'd expect in a team from the north."
Shirabe: "They have the advantage..."
Haruna: "Everyone!"
Everyone gathered up and went up to Endou-san, Kidou-san, and Otonashi-sensei.
Haruna: "I have good news. Nishiki-kun is back home!"
Kirino: "Eh?"
Shindou: "Nishiki?"
Amagi: "He's back?!"
Sangoku: "Is that true?"
Haruna: "Yes, he just called to say he arrived at the airport. He's heading our way right now."
Shindou: "It sure is a surprise to hear him being back so suddenly."
Hayami: "It's so reassuring to know he's here!"
Sangoku: "Yeah, he'll makes goals for us again with his powerful shoots!"
Shinsuke: "We'll get to see plays trained in Italy!"
Tenma: "Yeah, this is exciting!"
Endou: "Haruna, is it still possible to register an additional player?"
Haruna: "Yes."
Endou: "Good, then go for it."
Haruna: "Okay!"
I smiled as I watched everyone getting excited.
"Hm?"
I looked to the corner to my eye and see Shirabe lost in thought.
"Shirabe-chan? Are you alright?"
Shirabe: "Eh? Oh, I'm fine. Sorry for worrying you."
"Not all."
Shirabe smiled to me before walking back to the benches.
...I wonder what's wrong?
Kakuma: The game will begin momentarily! What fiery battle will Raimon and Hakuren show us on the ice? The match begins with Raimon's kickoff!
I was on the bench but I didn't mind.
Kakuma: Kurama loses the ball due to a dribbling miss!
Kurama: "Damn it!"
Kurama quickly kicked the ball out and Hakuren got to throw it in.
Shindou: "Hayami!"
Hayami: "Okay! Ah!"
The ball slid out. Then the whistle blew.
The ground is making this hard...
Tenma: "I have to do something!"
Yukimura: "You can't do anything by running like that!"
Kakuma: Yukimura steals the ball from Matsukaze! He charges into Raimon's camp!
Kirino: "I won't let you!"
Kakuma: There's a nice defense by Kirino! He saves Raimon from danger! However Raimon is stuck on defense! They seem to be having a rough time on this ice field! But Matsukaze stubbornly hangs on and stops Hakuren's attack!
Tenma: "Captain!"
Shindou: "You can't have it!"
Shindou headbutted the ball to Tsurugi but then Tsurugi lost balance and...
Yukimura: "Not good enough!"
Kakuma: Yukimura steals the ball! He moves on to attack!
Shindou: "Everyone, turn back!"
Yukimura: "Too late!"
Kakuma: Raimon is slow on the defense!
Yukimura: "Panther Blizzard!"
Sangoku: "I won't let that in! Fence of- What? Guh!"
Kakuma: Goal! Hakuren wins the first point with Yukimura's hissatsu shoot!
Sangoku: "Damn it!"
So fast... Yukimura's Panther Blizzard was too fast for even doing a hissatsu technique...
Shirabe: "It's fast, but..."
I turn to look at Shirabe.
Shirabe-chan?
Kakuma: It's Hakuren's chance to shoot again! Yukimura is closing in on Raimon's goal!
Kirino: "Kariya, let's go stop him!"
Kariya: "Okay!"
Kakuma: Kirino blocks his path!
Kirino: "I'll stop you!"
Yukimura: "We'll see about that."
Kakuma: Yukimura gets past Kirino!
Kariya: "Woah! Not happening!"
Kakuma: Kariya clears it! What incredible defense!
! "Just right now...."
Shirabe: "He used the edge of his spikes..."
"With this, we have a better chance at beating Hakuren!"
Shirabe: "Mhm..."
Shirabe smiled at me then looked back on the field.
...I wonder why...? Maybe it's just me but... Shirabe-chan's smile... it didn't feel real...
