Just now, my grandma called me. Now I was back.
Yesterday afternoon, I managed to stay up until my father was sleepy and hung up the call. Then I lied on the bed and took a nap without taking off that costumes.
Scarcely had I fell asleep when a knock at the door awakened me.
I opened the door without thinking much about what I was wearing.
Outside the door stood my grandma.
She screamed immediately and looked at me in horror, as if she saw the demons and ghosts.
The way she pointed at me made me feel that she was going to hit me soon.
I explained: "This is a performance suit, not my strange hobby!"
My grandmother took a step back and said harshly, "Take it off! Now!"
At this time, my aunt came in.
She was my dad's cousin.
The age gap between the previous generations in my family was large. My grandfather was more than a dozen years younger than his brother. As a result, the age gap between my dad and my aunt was also large. While, my aunt's age was close to that of my grandma's.
So, as for me, it was about two generations apart from my aunt.
When she saw me, she screamed as loudly as my grandma.

Then I asked, "Have ever anyone else in our family wear costumes like this?"

It seemed that they carefully concealed mentioning something. They first looked at each other to come to an agreement and then waved their hands, "Alas, don't ask us that. Just stop messing around."
This made me a bit wordless. I even tried to explain it was the art of cosplay, but they all didn't listen to me.
It was like how terrible it was for boys to wear women's clothes.
We indeed had a very deep generation gap.
But through my testing, I was sure that they didn't know my dad was the real cross-dresser yet.
But I failed to solve the problem about who wore such costumes too. Then this morning, the truth came to light.
Having an appointment with Ms. XXXX in the morning, so I got up early. After breakfast, I packed up the costumes and got ready to go out. When I went downstairs, my aunt just came down. She asked me where I was going.
I said: "I am going to rehearse."
When she heard it, she was frozen, staring at my schoolbag and asking, "With that kind of clothes?"
I said: "Yes. Now that it is the rehearsal, of course I should wear costumes."
She came up and said mysteriously, "do you know why your grandma is so afraid of your wearing that?"

She sighed sadly and said, "Have you ever heard how your grandpa died?"

What did my grandma talk to me about?
To put it simply, she told me something about my grandpa.
Generally speaking, after my grandpa made it to spread his business abroad, he often went abroad on business trips, contaminating with the dirty hobby of wearing women's clothes, which caused him to lost his life.
These things, I personally thought, had no connection.
But my grandma believed in her opinion and firmly made sure that my grandpa's death had something to do with going abroad and bad hobbies. Therefore, she hated it when men wear women's clothes, she didn't accept the new trends and culture among young people, including hating foreign countries.
Even that was part of the reason why she didn't agree with my dad to change my nationality.

To be honest, there was no way to reverse this idea easily, and I didn't intend to go that far as to change her concept.
In fact, she was not old. Originally she could establish on her career and open to accept more new things. But when my dad got used to the business of the company, she immediately retired from her position, thinking herself as an old lady and living an idle life.
It showed that she was not a person who loved to embrace new things.

Then she didn't let me go until I coaxed her and said I wouldn't wear it after the show.
Although it was a trifle, I still scared when I thought of it carefully. She, as my grandma and my dad's biological mother, even couldn't accept such a hobby. How could she accept my coveting her son?

I felt like it was gonna be a bad ending.
