No matter which culture you belong to, we can all agree on one thing being loathsome A.K.A Mister alarm clock. The alarm clock is a mister cause mine has mustaches on it. It's 7:00 am, and Mister just knocked me out of my wonderful dream.
*Well I didn't think it was a dream until Mister alarm went off.
I got out of bed, making my way to the shower. After the shower, I was still in pajamas with my hair wrapped in a towel. Sitting down at the bed for a comforting minute, I hugged Chimmy for strength to pull through another dull routine in Sydney.
I headed downstairs to the kitchen. The mouth watering aroma of mom's pancakes ignited my hunger. I plopped myself down on the chair next to my sixteen year old twin brothers on the dining table. Since my mum is Korean, we have a traditional breakfast together before heading in our own directions.
^Family things.^
After breakfast, I made another trip to my room. Changing into my outfit for the dayー a white hoodie and jeans since it was October, I put my hair into two braids. Finally, I rushed downstairs with my bag.
My brothers were already waiting. We all got into the car and dad drove us to school.
Entering the school gates, I was greeted by my best friend, Aspen. We went to our lockers to get our books for the first period. Aspen has been my best friend ever since we came to Australia and she's the only friend I have. I like her but if I could change one thing about her, I would make her a K-pop Stan too. That's because sometimes she doesn't know what I'm saying.

The day went by slowly. It was the last class when my phone vibrated. I nearly tripped from my chair seeing that BTS released a new MV "We are Eternal: Bulletproof"
The bell rang. School was over. Yet, I stood outside my class, earpods tucked in, lost in the fantasy as the MV took me through a nostalgic wave. Spotting the spring day set, the boys passing by the train in I NEED U, a tear rolled down my cheek. The ending left me mesmerised- the army ocean, showing how much the boys cherish us.
The hallway was empty. I walked out & spotted my brothers. "Hey... are you okay??" Asked Aiden.
"Lemme guess. BTS released something... didn't they?" Aaron gruntled with a bored expression.
I nodded. My cheeks were still flushed. Dad's car honked at us. I was crying all the way home because the mv was just so pure and heart touching.
After coming back, I accelerated to my room to do my favourite thing; NO! I'm not gonna listen to kpop.
"Okay *I might but later*
It was to continue the kdrama I started 'last night'. After completing my drama, I glanced at my wall clock and was astonished that it was already 4:30. I decided to get up and go get something to eat. I went downstairs where mum and dad were discussing something, both looking a bit jumbled but I ignored it and grabbed some snacks from the kitchen and went back to my room. I then opened my bag to do my homework and by the time I was done; it was already seven.
I was hungry after using my brain for so long so I thought about asking my mum about dinner. Just as I reached downstairs, mum was cooking pasta and requested me to go get Aiden and Aaron so we all could eat.
At the dinner table, we were enjoying our pasta silently when dad cleared his throat.
"We're moving to South Korea". Dad announced. Mum's whole face lit up by this information and my brothers grinned. They all looked at me. I was dumbfounded but faked a smile.
Now you might assume that since I'm a kpop fan I would be thrilled by this 'opportunity' but you see, I'm an introvert and talking to people just gives me anxiety so I prefer to keep to myself and K-pop.

After dad told us about the transfer Aiden and Aaron both were excited and mum was ecstatic because DUH!! We were moving to her homeland but I didn't want to leave my room. It was ever so amazing. The favourite posters and albums of all the bands and my bed with plushies- just a pure work of art.
We all had to move after a week so that week was just spent in packing and having farewell dinners. Aspen was having quite plenty of sleepovers during this week and she was just encouraging me to not be tedious or gloomy there and to be approachable but we both knew that wasn't an effortless thing for me to do.
We got out of the cab and headed to the airport. We got our tickets and easily found our seats. I got the window seat and was delighted.
The twins got the seats infront of me and started doing what they always do. Reading their favourite novel "Death Seekers" by _Kaname_.

Taking out my airpods for music, I tried to forget the anxiety creeping over me. I was nervous. Wondering if me, a foreigner would be able to make any friends or even act normally?
I shook all of those feelings away and let the music calm my nerves. "Grow Up" by SKZ is perfect for such times.
The plane taxied on the runway.
The uplift was successful but
My ears were blocked. A tingly butterfly bounced around in my stomach everytime the plane gained immediate altitude. I was thrilled to say the least.
*But the view!!!!
At last, the plan began smooth gliding, so I took out my notepad (which by the way had BTS stickers on it)
My brain geared up for my poem.
~ Some days I just keep pretending
~Still; everyone keeps on asking;
~It's not that I don't wanna tell
~It's the fact that they don't get
~And even when I try to explain....
........
I just wrote three more lines when I felt my eyelids getting heavy. I closed my eyes and stretched back in my seat. This was going to be a long flight.
