Leon wasnt joking.
We litrally did fly to China.
Well actually we were on the plane.
I was sitting beside Leon, my head on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around my waist.
He was starring off out of the window,
I could tell he was thinking.
Helena approached and sat down across from us.
"We just entered Chinese airspace."
She said,
"Good."
Leon said, turning away from the window
Helena put her head in her hands,
"...how you holding up?"
I asked leaning on the table.
"...why didnt you two turn me in?"
Leon looked up at her,
"You could have cleared your names..."
"Maybe,"
Leon shrugged,
"But it wouldnt have stopped Simmons."
He finished.
"Besides."
I said, leaning back in my seat.
"You're starting to grow on me."
I chuckled,
Leon nodded agreeing with me.
Helena smiled giving us a really look.
Then the lights began to flicker and the plane started to shudder.
Once it had become stable the three of us rushed out our seats to see what was going on.
Rushing into the cockpit we saw one of the pilots dead on the floor and something slimy moving in the co-pilot's chair.
We all pulled out our guns,
"Guys-"
I warned, seeing the gross green egg thing move.
The plane shuddered again, knocking us off our feet and the lights went out.
I quickly scrambled up Leon and Helena following as I aimed my gun at the egg
Then something came out of it.
Just like in the Cathedral, almost the exact same monster.
"You dont suppose that thing can fly a plane, do you?"
Leon joked,
Helena gave him an exasperated look as I started firing at the monster.
"Hunnigan, we have a problem... a big one."
Leon radioed in.
"The pilot has mutated into the same kind of monster we saw back in the Cathedral."
He said,
"What!? Alright...hang on... I'm looking something up!"
She said over the coms as the monster launched for us.
Everyone rolled out the way,
The thing screamed then jumped through the glass up.
"Dammit!"
Leon growled.
We all rushed into a room that had schematics of the plane.
The back of it was blinking red. Not good.
"Guys do you read me?"
Hunnigan said,
"Theres something wrong with the pressure bulkhead! Get to the tail of the plane, find out what's wrong!"
She told us,
We all rushed to the back of the plane and Helena and I started to turn the pressure valve.
The blinking lights in the room stopped and so did the alarm.
"I think we made it in time."
Helena breathed out a sigh.
Then the monster from before broke through the roof!
It screamed as the three of us shot at it and blue gas started swirling around it!
"Shit! Its releasing that same gas!"
Leon said,
"We have to get rid of it! We need to open the hatch!"
I told the two of them.
Leon managed to open the controls and pull the lever as Helena and I kept the monster busy.
The red blinking lights came back on and i could feel the wind enter the plane.
We all tumbled out the plane, the creature flying out with a scream.
Leon grabbed onto to Helena and pulled her back down onto the plane.
I grabbed on the wind making my eyes water as we all started to pull ourselves back into the plane itself.
I was the first one back in and helped Leon and Helena climb back in.
Leon pulled the lever and the hatch closed.
"The planes gaining altitude! Get to the cockpit!"
Hunnigan told us, worry in her voice.
We all made a mad dash to get there.
We were in the passenger area when the plane shuddered and rolled again, slamming us back against the side of the plane.
Bottles, bags and other things came flying at us as u threw my hands up to protect my face.
Once the plane was stable again we all tumbled to the floor.
Leon helped me up,
"You alright?"
"Just... peachy."
I said smiling at him,
He gave a grin back placing a kiss on my cheek as we all sprinted away,
Turns out the other passengers had been turned to zombies by that gas.
Great.
We took them out as fast as we could,
Once we were in the cockpit we looked at the schematics of the plane!
The left wing was now blinking red to.
"Jesus christ how much worse can this get?"
Leon murmured.
"When you opened the hatch you destabilized the plane by letting the pressure out. Someones gonna need to take the controls!"
She said,
The three of us all looked at each other.
"I was afraid you were gonna say that..."
Leon sighed, moving to the pilots seat.
"Since when do you know how to fly a plane?"
I asked shocked,
"Since now! You go take care of those infected, I'll fly this thing."
He said, I leaned over the seat and gave him a quick kiss before following Helena to fight off the infected.
The next thing I knew Helena and I were thrown off out feet, my hands looking for something to grip onto!
The plane must of made a crash landing.
My head slammed against the floor of the plane.
I could hear Helena getting up as I pulled myself to my feet.
Helena, Leon and I all exited the plane together, i could feel the blood trickling over my eye and lips... must be a cut on my forehead.
Leon was limping and Helena looked like she had hurt her side.
Everything was on fire around us...
Now what were we gonna do?
"Leon? (Y/N)?"
We all turned around at the high pitched voice.
"...Sherry!?"
I said seeing a blonde girl with short hair come running around the corner, a tall rough looking guy following.
"What are you doing here?"
Leon asked as I gave Sherry a one armed hug.
"I'm on protective detail."
She said,
"Yeah,"
I saw leon glance at the other guy.
"We heard you became an agent."
He said,
"Why are you here?"
She asked looking between Leon and I.
"We're tracking the man behind all this."
I said,
"Chief security advisor Simmons."
Leon added.
"What!? There- there must be some sort of mistake."
Sherry said, her brows furrowed.
"I report to Simmons!"
She finished, looking surprised.
"Hes your supervisor?"
I asked, my eyebrows raised.
"We're on our way to meet with him right now."
Sherry said looking from the guy beside her back to Leon and I.
"Where is he?"
Leon asked,
The man beside Sherry glanced at her,
Sherry shook her head, not sure.
"Sherry... we need to-"
I walked towards her and the guy shoved me backwards,
Leon stepped forward ready for throw a punch.
I held him back by his arm and Sherry shoved the guy back,
"Jake!"
She said annoyed.
It was silent. Everyone on edge.
I could see Helena had her hand on her guns handle.
I still had a hold on Leon's arm and Sherry sighed,
"Let me handle this."
She said,
Leon nodded.
Jake pulled her away from us to whisper to her. I couldnt hear their conversation.
"You alright?"
Leon asked putting his hand on top of mine. I smiled at him.
"Please, I've been mind controlled, almost eaten by a licker and much worse then being shoced by some rookie agent. Im fine."
He nodded smiling slightly at me.
We looked back at Sherry and Jake.
"Fair enough."
Jake muttered looking at us...
Then I saw something getting bigger, heading straight towards us!
"Look out!"
Helena yelled diving out the way,
Leon grabbed me and stretched his hand out for sherry-
But jake tackled her to the ground as Leon and I rolled to.
The thing exploded behind us, a wave of heat hitting everyone.
Everyone stood up, and I saw Leon looking at Sherry, concern flashing in his eyes.
I placed my hand on his shoulder,
Ready to say something when Helena yelled,
"Guys the plane!"
We all looked over to the ruined plane,
Seeing a giant monster, with a metal arm, it roared and Jake sighed
"Him again!?"
"Friend of yours?"
Leon asked,
"More like an ex-girlfriend."
Jake joked back.
"Guy dosent know when to quit!"
The monster jumped down off the plane and everyone insticintivly raised their guns.
"Welcome to the club."
I grinned at Jake, he gave me a bewildered look.
"You get used to it."
I turned my gaze back to the monster and so did Jake.
It was always nice seeing Sherry... just didnt exactly expect our reunion to be like this.
