Kim Chaewon pov
After Y/N agreed to Ms. Lee, I excused myself out from the room and answered the call I received, it was Yeonwoo.
"Hello?" I answered
"Babe~~ you wanna watch movie with me and the boys?" he asked me
"Oh, sure, where?"
"At my dorm"
"What time?"
"Can you come now?" he asked me
"N-now?"
"Yep"
"Okay"
"See ya~~"
What's into him? It's not usual he asked me to come this time, it's 02:47 pm. He usually asked me to come at night. Oh well.
Shin Y/N pov
Why did I agree to sing in front of the class, the whole class. I guess it's better than the whole academy. Then Eunbi snapped me out of my thoughts
"Y/N, are you okay? You seem a bit off since we exit the music room" Eunbi asked me
"Oh, sorry.. I'm fine thank you"
"So, where was the library again? I forgot" Eunbi chuckled
"Oh, right, we the library. Come on" I totally forgot we were going to the library
We decided to go to the library since Ms. Lee recommended Eunbi should read some theories about vocalization, because Ms. Lee said that her voice is a bit unstable during some parts. After more less an hour of reading and some researching from the internet, Eunbi said something that shooked me.
"So, Y/N" she started
"Yes?"
"There was another assignment right?"
"Yes, there is, it's making a presentation. I think our topic is explaining what vocalization is" I tried to remember "You want to do it now?"
"Yeah, why not"
So, Eunbi and I agreed to finish our assignment, we were enjoying the time so much we didn't realize the library will be closing in the next 45 minutes. Thankfully we were done with our assignment.
"So, I'd like to ask you something" she started a conversation
"What is it?"
"You see, Chaewon is a bit shy after that incident at the café, so..."
"She told you?" I asked her in disbelief
"Well, yeah" she answered shortly "You know, both you and her looked perfect together"
"What are you talking about?"
"She told me you're a cold person, at first I also think that you're a very cold person. But actually you aren't" she said, I somehow feel comfortable "Lots of my new friends here told me I should be careful around you since you're very cold. And that you don't do well with strangers. They say that's the reason you always come the earliest and take the far right corner near the window"
"Well, it's gonna be hard to explain" I tried to remember my painful past "You see, there was this gi-" I was interrupted
"Sh*it, I forgot my usb"
"Wait, I have this" I showed the flashdisk I found earlier
"Gre-, isn't that Chaewon's usb?"
"I don't know, I found it on the table near the teacher's room"
"Let me see it"
"Sure" as she inspects the flashdrive, she told me that it is Chaewon's usb
"You should give it back to her, you know"
"What why me?"
"Aren't you friends now?"
"Well, yeah, but we're still awkward. I wouldn't actually be sure to call it friend" I explained to Eunbi
"Wait, there's Chaewon's boyfriend" she pointed at Yeonwoo
"Okay, hold on I'll ask him to return it to him" I say while giving her my usb
I walk towards Yeonwoo and called him
"Yeonwoo-ssi, I found this usb, I was told it was Chaewon's. Would you give it back to her" I showed him the usb which is on my palm, he just stares at it and then said
"You should take what's truly yours, and take care of her. Don't keep her waiting like this, and tell her I'm sorry" he said to me as he folds my hand that is the usb on, making me gripping the usb.
He exits the library with a smile for me. I just put the usb to my pocket. I don't really understand what he's talking about, I then walked back to Eunbi
"Well?" she asked me
"Well what?" I asked her back
"Did you give him the usb?"
"He didn't take it, in fact I think he is indirectly telling me to give it back to her myself"
"Well, I guess so"
Eunbi has finished saving the project and returned my usb. We went out from the library, she went back to her dorm, while I walk to the café across the campus, I'm feeling sleepy, so I decided to get some coffee. As I entered the café, I ordered and scanned the surrounding for an empty seat. There's none. I wait for my drink, after it's done, I take it. As I want to go upstairs, I see a cup with the name Kim Chaewon. I asked the employee if she was here or not. I was told that she ordered that, and went straight upstairs, but she didn't took it at all. I told the employee I'll give it to her, and the employee agreed. And boy am I surprised when I arrive at the second floor. I saw Chaewon crying her ass off in a seat facing the window. I decided to sit next to her since she was crying so loud and she attracts attention all over her.
"Hey.." I called her, she glances at me and stopped crying while she get back to her previous position which is arms crossed, put on the table and looked down to her crossed arms
"Care to tell? I'd listen" I tried a second attempt
"Then what after that? I get mocked by the coldest person in our campus?" she asked me in a husky crying voice
"I promise, I won't do it. Besides, what fun is it to mock anyone?"
"You promise?" she calmed down and stopped crying then looks at me with her red eyes
"I swear"
"When I excused myself from the music room, Yeonwoo called me, he asks me if I want to watch a movie with him at his dorm. I agreed and rushed there with a smiling face" she started with her chin touching her arms which is still on the table "As I entered his room, I found him alone, he told me we were gonna watch the movie with his friends and their girlfriends. I asked him where are the others, he didn't answer my question. Instead he told me that he wants to break up with me"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
"Before I could even responded to his statement I can feel my tears started rolling away. Then in a split second, he pushed me out from his room with himself exiting the room, and then locking the door behind him. He walked away from me, I don't know, to somewhere, I came here, ordered something and just cry my ass off, I just remember that I didn't even take my order"
"Oh yeah... here" I gave her the drink
"Thank you" she sipped a bit "You're not so bad yourself actually" she smiled at me
"What do you mean?" I got confused
"You cared about me, although you look like avery cold person, mister president of the student council" she smiled again at me
"How do you know?"
"Rumors spread about a student council president that have a cold personality" she said with a smile on her face and red eyes while looking out the window
"Guess my title as the president of student council can't stay hidden forever, can it?" I chuckled a bit, so did Chaewon
"It feels good to have someone to talk to right now, I don't care if it's a boy or a girl, a kind person or a cold-hearted person" she told me
"I didn't have any"
"What do you mean?" she asked me
"When I feel down, I always keep it to myself, I never showed it to anyone, that's why people said I'm cold-hearted and emotionless"
"Well, they're wrong, aren't they?" she replied me
"What do you think?" I asked her "I always see myself as the same person" didn't get any replies, I glanced at her and found her started tearing up again "Why are you crying again?"
"I feel very dumb"
"Why so?" I asked her
"I smiled as I went to his dorm knowing something's not right when he called me at afternoon" I pat her on her back while calming her down, just then, she hugged me
"C-Chaewon.. why are you huggi-"
"Don't push me away like he did" she hugs me tighter and tighter as her tears came out even harder. I unconciously let the girl wet the shirt I'm wearing with her ship just to make her feel better
"Sorry, I don't think you'd understand since you've never had any girlfriends bef-"
"I understand your feeling, Chaewon-ah"
"Please don't pretend to understand, I know you wouldn't understand" she raised her voice a bit
"I'm not pre-"
"You're lying!!" she shouted at me, making us the center of attention, I stand up and apologize to everyone there
"Let's just go back to the campus" I offered her
"Sure, but please cover me, I'm embarassed if someone finds me like this" she agreed
I tried my best to cover her, like her request but attention always comes, as all students stare at us. I forgot today is a get-together for the freshmen and their seniors. I even heard someone saying "Isn't that Y/N? Shin Y/N the most cold-hearted person here? Walking with a teransfer student, acting all like a couple?" man, this is embarassing me. Right when we arrived near the cafeteria, she pulled me away towards the back of the cafeteria building backing a wall and literally nobody there, she put both her hands on the collar of my jacket, and pulled me towards her without hesitations the girl touched her lips to mine, making me feel her soft lips on mine. I somehow don't try to pull away from her, and just immerse myself and enjoy the kiss. It was long and very passionate, like she's been looking forward to do it. She pulled away from the kiss, it felt short although I know it's a long kiss. She then dropped herself on to the ground, sitting there, leaning her back one the dry concrete wall behind her. While I myself sit back one the cafeteria wall. There wasn't a lot of space between us. It's only like half meter space, so I sit a bit to the left of her. It was very silent
Kim Chaewon pov
"I'm sorry Y/N" I broke the silence between us while blushing real hard
"Don't be" he muffled
"I needed to let off some steam fr-, wait what?" I was stunned "I should be very sorry because I kissed you, someone I've just met yesterday"
"I'm telling you that you shouldn't be sorry"
"Why?" I asked him
"I kind of like it too" he said in a very soft and small voice, followed by a red face "Can we do it again?" Y/N asked me, leaving me in shock
"Y-you wa-want to?" I stuttered
"If you don't mind giving me another one" he said that making me blush
And after he said that he moved to my side, sitting next to me, and leaning towards me. I leaned to him too, and give him the kiss he wanted, but this time, it was only a short, well not short, it's a long kiss again.
"Kim Chaewon, please stand up" he told me as he also stand up himself, I thought to myself that I'm in trouble for kissing the president of my school's student council "I know we've only met yesterday, but I honestly can't stand seeing you sad like this. I know many people see me as the one coldest student in all campus. But, will you be willing to give me a chance?" he said as he hold both of my hands
"Are you proposing to me?" I asked him
"Well, this might seem crazy, but yes. I want you to be my girlfriend. Ever since you took my coffee yesterday, no, actually since I saw you staring at me at the same café yesterday, I feel like you're the one I'm wai-"
"Yes!" I cut him off
"What?" he looked dumbfounded
"Come on now, I know you heard me. Yes, I will be your girlfriend" I replied with a huge smile on my face, then I heard someone clapping, Y/N and I turned our head together, and.... of course it's Eunbi unnie
"Finally, the tension guys" she said
"Is this planned? Did you plan this?" I asked Y/N
"No, I did not" he answered me in confusion
"I saw you guys walking to the cafeteria earlier, but I noticed you both went offtrack to back here, so I secretly went to see what's happening and while you both were busy smooching each other, eww, two times, ewwww, I was watching. Then I was eavesdropping. Oh now I'm so happy both my friends are now happy" Y/N and I looked at each other in confusion "Urghh.... both of you are so-, whatever. Anyways, now it's official?" she asked with a grin on her face. Y/N was holding my waist all along when Eunbi was talking, we looked at each other and said yes at the same time while looking at each other, and we initiatively touch our lips again.
"EWWWWWW.........get a room will you two?" Eunbi shrieked, we stopped and laughed.
"By the way, I think this is your usb, Chawon-ah" Y/N told me while taking out a usb from his pocket
"Awww, you're right, it is. Thank you Y/N" I hugged him again "By the way, you shouldn't just call me Chaewon, you know" I said to him while playing with the strap on my usb
"What else do you want me to call you by?" he asked me as Eunbi, Y/N, and me walked to the dorm building
"I don't know, maybe you can call me baby, or honey, or maybe sweetie pie, or dear, or teddy bear, or-"
"Ssamu fairy" Eunbi butted in with a huge smile on her face
"You can call me anything, Y/N" I said to him "Oh, except what Eunbi said" I clarified
"Alright babe" he chuckles
"Good, I like it, my dear" I replied to him with a smile
