If you haven't heard of it, reverse sticky web is a strategy that involves a Pokémon with Magic Bounce and Skill Swap, a sticky web setter, and Pokémon with Contrary, Competitive, and Defiant. Basically the idea is that you would Skill Swap with the opponent to give it Magic Bounce, switch out, and use Sticky Web to purposely get the webs on your side to get a Defiant/Competitive/Contrary boost.
Anyway, so I'm battling with my new meta team when I come across this dude. This isn't my first rodeo, so I immediately recognized the strategy from the team (it's fairly obvious to recognize this strategy). I was trying my hardest to avoid the setup when I had a genius realization: Skill Swap fails against certain abilities, one of which is Battle Bond. I swapped in my Ass-Greninja... I mean Ash-Greninja, and yeah, it pretty much all went down from there.
(I honestly would've loved to see a full Toxapex sweep, but then again, most people would forfeit if they got swept by a Toxapex.)
