Juliet's POV

Today I got up super early because we were docking in London and I've always wanted to be visit London. We would be here for over night and by some miracle we are in England on Derby Day, which is why I'm going to Manchester. My parents, who are officially the best parents ever, have gotten me tickets to see the Manchester Darby at Old Trafford, Man United's Stadium. I have been watching Manchester City before I could walk. I used to play football, not American football, but once I really got into dance there wasn't any time for it, but I followed the games as much as I could and I've been lucky enough to see them play a little while back. My father's side is from England, Manchester specifically and most of them are United fans, but some are City fans, which makes Derby day even more important to my family. It gives the winner bragging rights at family occasions. So I got up took a quick shower, blow dried my hair, because Manchester is cold and I rather not have freezing cold hair. Then I did my hair and got dressed.

(I know this is the new kit, but this is one of my favorites)

Then I packed my purse and put my coat and scarf on and knowing Manchester it looked really nice out, but it's very possible that it will be freezing and raining by night time.

I walked outside and I could feel the wind on my face already. I barely remember London, but I do remember the cold, cold England is something you can't really forget because it can look so nice out and then you step outside into the freezing cold. I walked out onto the main deck and I saw Cody in an outfit that can only be described and english and Zack who looked rather cold without a jacket

"Hey guys." I said walking up to them

"hey-y" Zack said shivering

"why don't you have a coat?" I asked almost holding in laughter

"because Zack's an idiot who didn't check the weather" Cody butted in

"It lo-ok-ed nic-e-e-e out." Zach said

"yea, weather can be deceiving around here" I said

"so what are you wearing now?" I asked laughing a little

"I am dressed in holmesage to Sherlock Holmes." he said talking out a magnifying glass, in which I stood there trying not to laugh

"you see what I did there" he said laughing at his own terrible joke

"yes, we do, we just didn't find it funny." Zack retorted

"so why are you dressed like that?" I asked still confused

"becauseee I am going to visit the Sherlock Holmes exhibition with Bailey and Woody." he said back to Zach

"What are we visiting now?" Bailey asked confused walking up to us with Woody

"The Sherlock Holmes exhibition. Believe it or not I am president of the Boston chapter of his fan club, the Sherlock Holmies."

"oh we believe it." Zach said and we all nodded in unison

"So Juliet, what are your plans for today?" Zach asked

"today's Manchester's derby day and my parents being as wonderful as they as got me tickets." I said and they all looked at me confused

"a rivalry between the two football clubs in Manchester, Manchester United and Manchester City." I said and all went "footballll" like a realization hit them

"not American football." Cody said and then they all looked at him funny

"What other football is there?" Woody asked and I wanted to hit myself in the face

"soccer." I said and then it hit them again

"anyway today is a big fo- soccer game" I said wanting to laugh at myself

"Hey guys, don't you love London." Marcus said coming over to us

"Won't you stop? She's never going to date you." Zach said

"Zach, don't be so mean." Bailey said

"I'm not being mean, I'm being realistic." he said back

"I was talking about the city, but I'd love to take a tour of the other London too." he said and I was pretty sure that was my queue to leave

"okay, I think I should get going." I said

"yes, us too." Cody said and Bailey and Woody followed, but once they left I felt kinda bad, so I decided to stay just a little while longer, my train to Oxford didn't leave for another 1 1/2hour and then I'm taking a train from Oxford to Manchester

"I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but she's very picky about the guys she dates. You gotta be rich-" Zach started

"I'm rich" Marcus replied

"you gotta be tall" Zach listed next

"I'm rich" Marcus repeated

"well, it looks like that guy is both." Zach said pointing to guy walking down the stairs with London

"don't listen to Zack and if London doesn't see what a great guy you are, then it's her loss." I said trying not to let Zack get to him too much

"hey guys, have you met the lord?" London said walking over to us with that guy and their arms linked together

"well there was a time when I hit my bike into a tree and -" Marcus started

"not that type of lord." I nudged Marcus

"oh" he said quietly

"This Lord. Lord Hartley Wicket, he's 25 in line to the throne." London said

"really that's so cool." I said and then Zack started

"no it's not, it happens all the time when they have the buffet." and once he finished I was speechless, but at the same time wanted to laugh

"not that type of throne. well that was enough chit-chat with commoners." Hartley said with a snobbish British accent, which reminded me how much a prick people like him can be at times, not all of them but there are the special few

"I'll pick you up after the football match" he said

"Oooh! I like football, shoulder pads and makeup." London said and I wished she was here the conversation before

"So uh, what do you play? uptight end?" Marcus asked

"I'm not talking about that wimpy off spring of rugby you colonists call football. I'm talking about what you, yanks, call soccer. " he finished, and I didn't completely disagree but I still had the urge to wipe that stupid smirk off of his face.

"What team do you play for?" I asked

"I play for Eton, but I'm going up to Manchester to see a match." he said

"Really, so am I. Who do you have?"

"United, of course. Why? don't tell me you have City?"

"Yes, I do." I said and he started to laugh and now I really want to smack him, but instead I'll let my team do the talking

"Then you guys should join us after, my mates are going to the game and then we're having a party at my chum Oliver's flat to celebrate, a United victory."

"I think you misspoke, a City victory."

"no, I don't think I did." he said

"I think you did"

"no"

"yes"

"no"

"yes!"

"no!"

"fine! this will be settled on the pitch!"

"fine!"

"may the better team win."

"they will." and with that he walked away with London and my blood was boiling

"wow" Zack said stunned

"What?!, sorry" I said sitting on one of the stools

"I've never seen you get so upset." he said

"well, when it comes to football all bets are off and it's derby day, so tensions are a little high."

"so would you guys want to come with me, I have 4 tickets because originally my family was going to meet us here, but then Elliot had something come up and my dad couldn't get the time up, anyway I have 4 tickets would guys want them?" I asked them

"Sure, I think I want to get a jacket before we go." Zack said still standing out a coat

"I'm not sure if you guys would want to get tickets directly into Manchester because I'm taking a train to Oxford in about an hour to look at their uni, and then I'm going to look at Manchester's uni too."

"Boring, come on Marcus let's go get ticket's to Manchester." Zack said in a snobby British accent

"Alrighty good sir, let's go and while we're at it let's get some tea with the queen." Marcus said and the two headed back to their cabin

I realized I didn't have a hair tie and it might be windy when I'm walking around, so I went back to my cabin to grab one. I was locking my door when I heard my name.

"Juliet." and I turned to see Aiden

"Hey." I said putting my key away

"What are you up?" he asked walking over

"I'm going to visit the University of London and then I'm heading over to Oxford and Manchester,  you?"

"I was going to just see some of the sights here, but your day sounds way more interesting, want any company?"

"Sure, by chance do you happen to like football?"

"Football's okay, unless you mean football football." he said and I was pretty sure we were talking about the same thing but not entirely

"I mean kick the ball with your foot, football."

"then yes, I like football, why?"

"I have an extra ticket to the Manchester Derby, want to come?"

"are you kidding?"

"no."

"no you have to be kidding, I've never really gone to a professional match before."

"well today you will, are you ready to go?" I asked and he still seemed a bit shocked but he nodded and we left

We took the train to Oxford and look at their university, which all I can say is absolutely stunning and it's actually Hogwarts. Then we took the train to Manchester and the University of Manchester is also a beautiful school. They are both top universities, but I'm not sure if I want to be over here. I definitely want to study abroad here, I'm just not sure I want to be away from home for another few years and then possibly more depending on my post grad work. Then it was finally match time and I was stoked. We finally got to out seats and the stadium was packed and full of life. Zach and Marcus met up with us  It was finally kick off and like any day in Manchester it started to rain and it was windy as could be, but I did not care. The game was close one and though I love a good match, it had me stressed. Then in the 42nd minute the dead lock was broken and my heart dropped as the stadium came even more alive. Then it was half time and I was devastated, but it wasn't over.

"they could still make a comeback" Aiden said trying lift my spirits

"I know, I know they can, but I'm not sure." I started

"are you guys enjoying the match?" I asked looking at all three of them

"Yes" Zack and Marcus said shivering

"Are you alright? You look a tad chilly?" I said trying not to laugh

"just a bit, who knew it was going to rain today?" Zack said confused and cold

"Well it's Manchester for starters and secondly there is something called looking at the forecast." I said and Zack did seem very happy with my answer.

"You could try to buy a sweatshirt, but the lines are probably insane." I said to them and Marcus and Zack looked at one another and nodded

"yea, we're going to try and if not we'll feel a little better inside" Marcus said and they both shuffled away.

"how are you holding up? if you're too cold you can go inside, you have 8 minutes until the match restarts." I said looking at Aiden

"no, I wouldn't want leave you here alone."

"alright, hey take this." I said taking off my scarf

"no, no, then you'll be cold" he said

"I'll be fine, take it. I insist" I said and he nodded and I wrapped the scarf around him. It was mostly dry because of my jacket, so hopefully it helped

"better" I asked

"much, thank you" he said and smiled

"of course." I said smiling back

Half time ended and the game began again. It was once again a pretty evenly matched game and as the minutes passed it became harder to see them winning. I was beginning to think I would settle for just a tie, but a part of me thought they just may be able to pull it back. The game seemed to be mostly in City control, but they couldn't get through and at about the 80th minute it seemed like United were going to settle for a 1-0 win, so they went completely defensively and it seemed almost impossible for us to get anything through. We were closing into the final 5 minutes of regular time and city fans could almost feel this game slipping away, but then out of now where there was a lack of pressure and in a moment of magic the game was tied. Every City fan got up yelling and cheering and I was with them and in getting that goal it felt like we had the momentum to finish this off, but time was against us. The was only 3 minutes of extra time and even with the momentum the clock was going to beat us. They were sending in cross and shots, but nothing was making it to the back of the net and then there was one magnificent shot, which their goal keeper saved pushing it over the cross bar, so it was corner and it was now or never. the ball came in, sadly no city player was able to get to it and the keeper was able to punch it clear , but only as far a city defender and with ever united player back for the corner, city was able to work the ball and in a stellar shot from outside the box, City had won the game. Once the whistle blew I beyond excited, not only was it a great comeback, but a nail bitting match. All of my friends and I were extremely excited yelling and cheering and I'm not sure if they were happy because we won or because it was just lively. I think I may have hugged Aiden like 20 times while I jumped around excited. I know I was bit overdramatic to some, but what can I say, this has to be one of the most exciting days of my life. we eventually left the stadium and I was still buzzing from all of the excitement. We all went to get some food and then we took a train back to London, Zach and Marcus sat next to one another and Aiden and I sat together facing them. I was exhausted from it all and we had decided to go to "London's boyfriend" party, so I eventually fell asleep as happy as could be.
