Cloves PoV
"Cloooooooooooveeee!"
I glance over at the shirtless Cato, who is sprawled out like a star fish on my bed.
"What do you want?"
"Yooouuu!"
I roll my eyes, and begin to walk to the bathroom to change into my pajamas.
"Where are you gooooiiiiiinnnnggg!?"
"I'm getting changed!"
He snaps his head off the mattress and looks at me.
"you don't have to leave."
"Yes I do."
"Please no."
"Cato, I'm not stripping in front of you!"
He narrows his eyes.
"Rude."
"it's not rude you freaking pervert."
He flops back down and I quickly change from my dark shirt and jeans, to a loose grey tank top and white patterned shorts.
I walk back into the room and Cato moans again.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Noooothing!"
"How many beers did you have at the party?" I question raising an eyebrow.
"I dunno."
"That is not a good thing."
"No more than...um...like...six? Maybe more...or less....I doooon't knooow!"
I frown.
"Go to sleep Cato."
"Come here first pleeease!"
I don't want to sleep with your beer breath.
"Actually it might have only been five beers," he says thoughtfully. "Finnick gave me a lot of sugar cubes though..."
"Oh no. How many?!"
"Like.....um....a pack or so?"
"Cato! You see what those things do to Finnick! How could you be so stupid! Sugar cubes are worse than twenty beers!"
I sit down on the bed next to him, and he glances at me with a stupid grin.
"I'm fiiiine."
I shake my head and lay down, and he reaches to wrap his arms around me.
I allow him to, and we lay in silence a while.
Suddenly, Cato begins to tug at my shirt, and I instantly slap his hand.
"Bad boy!" I snap.
He groans.
"Don't be meaaaan Clove!"
"You are too freaking tired and drunk! Stop it!"
He whines again and I roll my eyes, flipping to face him.
His eyes are slightly cloudy, and he is clearly tired.
"Go. To. SLEEP!"
He pulls me closer to his bare chest, trying to kiss me, but I dodge the attempt.
"Go to sleep. No kisses or anything else! Also no more sugar cubes! EVER! Finnick is used to them! You're not! NOW SLEEP!"
"I love you though."
"Doesn't change anything. Goodnight Cato."
"You don't love me?"
"Not right now."
He looks down at me, with big puppy eyes.
"Not cute."
"Rude."
"Sleep. Now."
"No."
"I will leave right now if you don't sleep."
He tightens his grip on my body.
"Nope!"
"SLEEP NOW!"
"Fine."
We lay in silence for about twenty blissful minutes, when suddenly Cato speaks up.
"I want watermelon."
"Shut up."
