3rd POV:
Taehyung was rummaging through his closet, he was stressed out-- he needed to find his bestfriends sweater he had borrowed last week. Taehyung was a bit irresponsible, he had borrowed his sweater and had forgot to return the sweater back the next day.
There he sat in a pile of clothes trying to find his bestfriends sweater, he was messing up his apartment but he didn't care. How could I be so irresponsible? It was namjoons favorite.
He was hoping to find it soon cause namjoon was coming over and would ask about his sweater for sure.
That's when he remembered, i maybe put it on my coat stand, he bit lips, he had his fingers crossed-- he removed few coats from the stand, there it was--his pink sweater under few warm thick coats, i found it!
Thank god, namjoon would have killed me if I lost it.
Taehyung shook his head at his poor memory, he'll try to be more responsible next time.
He looked down to see his shoes laying on the floor from the last time he came back.
He was a very messy person, he sighed putting back the shoes in the shoe stand, he noticed something-- jeongguks black converse.
Jeongguk was his ex, they broke up 2 months before but they loved eachother a lot. Taehyung still loves jeongguk, he had never moved on and this worn out converse reminded of him.
They were high school sweethearts, they wanted to get married in the future, people referred them as a perfect couple. Things were going great between them, they were happy but they started bickering over small things. Taehyung got jealous whenever he saw jeongguks female friends kissing him on his cheeks-- he hated it. He made it a big issue and that's when they broke up-- it was the hardest thing to do but they separated their ways.
He missed him a lot-- Does he misses me too?
His thoughts were interrupted by his phone-- it was a call from namjoon,
He picked it up as he spoke,
"Hello?"
"Oh hey taehyung, im sorry I can't come over. My mother needs me to help her with something, I'm sorry once again,"
"it's okay, you can come over later,"
"Thank you bun, "

It was past 12 am, taehyung kept staring at the worn out converse, it was jeongguks favourite, they haven't talked ever since their breakup, taehyung still has him on his contact list. He misses him a lot.
There is nothing in this world which could be called as 'perfect', their love wasn't a fairytale, it didn't end like a fairytale would, but taehyung wishes that it was-- jeongguk, his prince charming, saving him and they live happily together. But the actual reality is brutal, you never know when love turns into hate and hate into love.
Jealousy ruins a relationship, taehyung knew about it. He promised himself that he'd never get jealous but he broke the promise that he made to himself. He got jealous and of course it ruined their amazing relationship.
Jeongguk was literally an ideal boyfriend, warm cuddles, small dates, back hugs, loving kisses-- he gave him everything. Many people envied taehyung, waiting for them to break up so they could make a move on jeongguk.
As soon as they broke, jeongguk was swarmed by all the girls and boys in their university and jeongguk couldn't help but get shy from the attention he was getting.
Taehyung tried to ignore him but he couldn't, the way others sat on his lap like he used to-- it made him jealous.
They both would steal some glances, blush whenever they see each other. Everyone knew that they were still so in love with each other and would get back together. Everyone knew about them liking eachother-- expect them.
They didn't want to move on from their beautiful relationship-- it was beyond beautiful. Their break up was so childish-- taehyung couldn't help but regret his actions.
He missed talking to him-- he loved him and wasn't ready to let go.

Taehyung walked in the long hallways, he looked down, clutching his books tightly to his chest. Jeongguk and taehyung were the centre of attention, everyone would always make a note on their behaviors, trying to see if they make a move on eachother, they were the bet-- people betted on their relationship, it kinda hurt taehyung because their relationship wasn't something people could bet on.
He always tried to ignore their stares and whispers, but he wouldn't lie if it didn't hurt.
He sat in cafeteria with namjoon who was poking his boyfriends chubby cheeks, taehyung chuckled at them, they were so cute.
Taehyung took a glance of jeongguk who was laughing and smiling whole heartedly when seri said something about his new cat,
Taehyung unconsciously pouted at them, he stabbed his salad with his fork-- murdering those poor green leaves who didn't do anything.
Ofcourse it went noticed by jimin and namjoon who chuckled at taehyungs jealousy. They knew how much jeongguk and taehyung loved eachother but those two idiots were too stubborn to admit it.
Taehyung huffed, he took his bag and left for his next class. He felt angry and sad-- jeongguk really moved on from him.
Taehyung paid no attention to the class, he was drilling holes in seri head who was pinching jeongguks thighs making jeongguk laugh.
He fucking hated her, he hated how she could hug him, sit on his lap, kiss him on his cheeks while taehyung couldn't.
He was jealous-- so fucking jealous, as soon as the bell rang he left the class and the university going back to his apartment, he plopped on his bed taking a glance of those black converse-- he turned around so he wasn't facing them.
It was confirmed that taehyung was still so in love with jeongguk.

Taehyung knew it was so wrong to do this but he couldn't help it-- taehyung couldn't sleep, he missed jeongguk a lot-- he was planning on calling jeongguk wanting to ask him if he wanted his converse back as a excuse to hear his voice and maybe meet him.
It was past 1 am-- jeongguk hated it when people interrupted his sleep but taehyung couldn't help it.
He looked at jeongguks name on his contact list, he took a deep breath, he dialed jeongguks number who answered it on the 7th ring,
"Hello?" Taehyung could hear his deep raspy sleepy voice, i guess he still haven't noticed that I called him.
"Hi.." Taehyung trailed off, not knowing how to start a proper conversation between them.
"Hey taehyung. ." Taehyung heard his name, his heart was beating fast, he didn't knew what to do.
"Hi jeongguk, uh sorry for calling you late at night but.." Taehyung couldn't finish his sentence, he was freaking out-- jeongguk would think that I'm dumb calling this late at night just to ask him if he wanted his worn out converse back.
"Wrong number," with that taehyung ended the call, he sighed sadly-- he wanted to meet with him and have a talk but was so scared.

The next day he sat in the cafeteria as usual, bored as heck-- he stared into nothing while he played with his food.
He was so focused in his thoughts that he failed to notice jeongguk walking up to him.
jimin and namjoon coughed loudly getting taehyungs attention, taehyung looked at them with an eyebrow raised but they pointed at the side.
Taehyung froze when he saw jeongguk smiling nervously,
"Can i talk to you?" jeongguk asks nervously, his cheeks were pink-- he was definitely nervous.
"S-sure," taehyung stuttered out not knowing what to say,

"W-what did you want to talk about? " taehyung asked breaking the silence making jeongguk blush,
"You called yesterday, " Jeongguk uttered out,
"S-sorry," taehyung mumbled looking down making jeongguk laugh,
"Nono, it's okay I don't mind..there's something I've been wanting to talk about," Jeongguk spoke out with a nervous chuckle,
"Okay..go on.." taehyung utters still looking down,
"First-- i miss you," Jeongguk blurts out making taehyung suddenly look at him with wide eyes,
"Second--i still love you, i could never move on," Jeongguk smiles sadly holding taehyungs hands,
"I don't know if you still like me or not but I want to give us another chance," Jeongguk caresses taehyungs hand, jeongguk noticed that taehyung was silent so he spoke,
"L-look it's okay if you don't-" his words were cut off when taehyungs soft lips pressed against his,
"I miss you too, i love you," taehyung hugs jeongguk who hugs him back,
They both broke their hug when they hear everyone cheering for them shouting "taegguk", taehyung could see jimin and namjoon recording them on their mobile phones,
Taehyung chuckled, pecking jeongguks cheek, he asked leaning closer to him,
"Would you like your black converse back?"
