Cristiano got a statue in his hometown

Rachel POV
It took 5 minutes for Katia to get up to Cristiano's room. But we hen her and Junior walked through the door my mouth went dry. I'd been trying to figure out what to say and how to say it.
Junior walked over to me and crawled into my lap "Momma why are we here? Daddy is probably home! Why can't we go home?" He asked
I took a deep breath and looked at Dolores. She gave me a sad smile and nodded.
"Junior your Dad isn't home.. he's here. In the hospital where he is being taken care of.." I started
"Why is he being taken care of? We take care of him! Right?" He said with a little frown in between his eyebrows
"Well yes... but he needs special care.. care we can't give... I- well- he is- junior- I-" I stuttered
I couldn't say it. If I said it it'd be true. Cristiano had been in an accident. Is in the OR. Could be seriously hurt.
"Junior what your mother is trying to say is that your father has been in a car accident. He is being taken care of so he can get better.." Dolores said softly
There is was. It was said. Outloud. It was real now.
I lookef down at Junior and saw him looking confused but thinking. He looked up at me with confusion in his eyes.
"He is okay though right? He's gonna be able to come home today? And play with me and help me with fútball right?" He said hope forming in his eyes. After no one answered he said "Right?"
His voice so small and innocent. "We don't know yet Junior..." I said hesitantly
The tears fell down his cheeks in streams. I wiped them away with my own tears falling.
"It'll be okay. He'll be okay. Your Dad is strong. Always has been. He'll be fine. I promise." I whispered
He rested his head on my shoulder.
I wish I could guarantee that promise...

Rachel POV
An freaking hour so far. It's felt like forever! I can't sit here anymore and worry. I have to see him. Know he's okay.
As if God had finally heard my millionth prayer the nurse from the front desk came in.
"Good news! He's out of the OR and seems stable. The doctors were able to stop the internal-"
I coughed loudly to interrupt her and looked pointedly at Junior.
"Oh.. um well.. Mrs Ronaldo could I please speak with you then out here?" She asked
I nodded and got up and walked out to the hallway closing the door behind me.
"I'm sorry I didn't realize he was there." She apologized
I shook my head and waved her on.
"Okay well the doctors were able to stop the internal bleeding. And he is stable so he will be in the room shortly.... he has cuts on his face.. but other than that there isn't anything he can see."
I nodded "Thank you."
I walked back into the room and tild Katia and Dolores what the nurse told me.
"Junior come here bud." I said pulling him to me
"Listen.. your Dad has a few minor very small injuries. When you see him he may look different. But he's still him. Okay?" I said gently
He took in what I said and nodded.
Just in time because ad soon as he nodded. The door opened to a stretcher coming in the room.
Dramatics!
Okay so the next chapter will be more about me. I'm going to tell you guys about me!
