Meeting the Boys
After Louis got up from his spot on the couch, three out of the four other boys looked up from their cellphones and actually acknowledged my presence near the door.
The first one to get up to say hello was Zayn, which surprised me, because from what I've heard, he was supposed to be the shy one.
"Hey, I'm Ella, but you guys can call me Elle, if you want. I don't know if Louis told you anything, but I'm his new stepsister." I introduced myself to them all, figuring that was easier than sitting in social awkwardness for a few minutes.
"Hi, I'm Zayn." "The name's Payne. Liam Payne." " I'm Harry" After Harry said his introduction, we all looked back to the blonde, who was still sitting on the couch, unaware that everyone was waiting for him to say something.
He finally looked up from his phone and glanced at me, rolled his eyes, and stood up from the plush couch, making his way to where we were standing near the front door.
"I'm Niall," he started to say, with fake enthusiam and a smirk plastered on his face. "I'm really not fond that you're here, because that means you will want to spend time with us. So I'll make a deal. I leave you alone, and you don't bother me. Got it? Good."
With that Niall walked out of the house, down the cobble walkway, and hopped into a silver Porsche, whizzing down the street and leaving everyone in shock.
"I am so sorry Elle," Louis spoke, although he was still looking out the front door. "He's never acted that way before, I swear." All of the boys nodded their heads in agreement, muttering sorry's under their breath.
"Well, to brighten the mood a little, maybe we can order some pizza, and we can get to know each other?" I said to no one in particular.
Almost immediately the boys broke out of the trance and were back to what I guessed was their usual rowdy selves. I called for the pizza, and sank down into the large, plush couch, letting out a deep sigh.
Maybe this could be a new beginning for me.
