Standing with a small frown, Sekijiro walked to the training area looking down at the clipboard that had the sheet of the practical lessons that he was supposed to teach you. But after what happened the other day he was a bit sad he won't be able to see how you would react to them.
'It's a shame but being a hero is not easy.' A deep sigh left his lips.
Few feet away from the large door that leads to the training area, Sekijiro paused hearing commotion in the room that had his brows scrunching in confusion. Reaching his hand he pushed on the doors open and what was shown in front of him caught him by surprise.
Drenched in mild sweat, a young girl with pink hair stretched with a content groan. Hearing the door creaking open she looks over her shoulder.
His grey eyes met with turquoise ones that were burning with determination and fire. "Good afternoon, Sekijiro-sensei!" was the girl's loud greeting that took him by surprise.
"You're... early..."
"I finished the extra lessons much earlier than my teacher initially thought so he let me come here in advance to warm up!" you replied. If one would glance over your form, they could see the resolve ou burned into your body. Your body practically radiated with energy, Sekijiro couldn't help but admit that he was getting uncharacteristically energetic too.
"You know that being a hero is a big burden to carry. The responsibility. The expectation. The criticism that comes along with it."
"I am willing to take them all on!" was your powerful answer that had his lips churning into a wide smirk. With large strides that echoed strongly in the vacant large room, Sekijiro looked at you like he would to his student.
Being a mentor was something he was initially unsure to take on but, the potential he could see in you. Untapped with no one to help cultivate.
"Ready yourselves!" Sekijiro warned waving the board with a smirk "We are a little bit behind on schedule. I am gonna make you pass your limits!"

"Welcome back--(Y/N) are you okay!?" asked the appalled Fuyumi squeaked in surprise as she looked at the girl with pink hair waddling around half asleep with uncharacteristically tousled hair and varying smudges of light bruising on her skin.
Fuyumi quickly ran to your side with worry, "You're covered in bruises have they been treating you..."
"Fuyu-nee..." you mumble looking over to her with a sleepy gaze. Fuyumi's brows furrowed in confusion before they scrunch in anger.
"What were they doing to you? I know that it's tough being in the hero course but did they really have to push you so bad that--!!"
You pushed on her hands that clenched your shoulders and backed up with worry. "Oh thank goodness you didn't get any on you..." you sighed with a wide smile that had Fuyumi blinking away her anger. "I worried the color would end up on your white shirt~"
Fuyumi was quiet. She was still processing what happened when she realized that some of the red and purplish colorings stuck to her hand.
"(Y/N)..." She mumbled looking at the color smelling something funny from the color. "What is this?"
"Hmm? Oh--That's from my little errand. I went over to Minato-san's shop and asked for a favor. But he said I had to work for it so I am doing some little tasks."
"I-I... see..." Fuyumi sighed in relief hiding the growing blush in her cheeks when she recognizes it as something similar to chalk. She was embarrassed she didn't recognize it since she works in an elementary. "Do you want to take a bath? There is one already set up."
"Oh! Thank you!~"

"(Y/N)!!" whine Tomodaichi with puppy eyes as she tried begging you to hang out with her after school. "It's not that far! We can just buy a small treat then walk on."
"I'm sorry Tomodaichi... But I still have makeup classes with teacher then hero enlightenment classes after... I won't be done until sunset and I am gonna be picked up by my dad tonight..." You tried to look away from the girl who pouted cutely at you.
"Don't be like that. We still have after the exams." your efforts to reassure her paid off as she brightened with delight. Before you could use this chance to get away, one of the students muttered from behind you.
"But aren't you gonna be training to be a hero after the exams?" Her classmate asked that hit a bombshell in Tomodaichi. "Th-Then that means we aren't gonna be classmates anymore!?"
She yelled so loud that the students near her had to cover their ears.
"Oh... Then, Todoroki-chan will be going to all sorts of places and get really busy." another whistled holding a small smile as they watch the blonde-haired girl in twintails wail dramatically. "She might have new friends in the other courses as soon as she moves."
"NOOO! STOP!" Tomodaichi shook the boys who were teasing her earning laugh at her antics.
"Todo-chan then would have to deal with villains! Don't get kidnapped Todoroki-chan~ I heard in some online podcast that they were worried about you making such a big debut in the sports festival." One of the girls told you like big sisters talking to their younger siblings about not to date.
"It's rare for someone to be able to use many quirks at once! Some of the people credited your dad and mom for giving you such a rare gene." sighed the girl with a pout. You were already feeling awkward about the vast social knowledge they have. You were ready to finish packing up one of the girls asked you.
"Now that I think about it. How come you didn't get in the hero course from the get-go?"
The words had you unintentionally flinching as spit almost rolled back down your throat in the heat of the shock. The words of Principal Nezu echoing in your mind.
"Though your extra classes are not gonna be treated as confidential. The purpose of you taking these special classes are, especially the reason why you are placed in class 1-C in the first place, has to be considered classified, okay?"
"U-Um well..." You mumbled unsure of what to say, their expecting gazes beat you down with growing anxiety, you could feel your soul leaving your body under heavy thoughts. 'Just make something up!!' you yelled at yourself in your head and with a thought of what you were going to say your lips parted.
"Oh yeah, now that you were talking about it. If it weren't for you slowing down the robot one time I wouldn't be able to get a point" one of the students popped in. In turn, allowed your shoulders to drop in full relief.
'Safe!!' You thought before his words circulated in your brain a bit more.
'Wait--So you were the one who stole my point?' You thought a little bitterly at the boy who was smiling over to you in his little strides. To your surprise, he bowed deeply adding to his previous statement.
"Thank you a lot! If you hadn't stopped that robot I wouldn't have gotten swatted away like a fly. I had a big confidence boost when you slowed down the robot to help me."
'That's what I did...?' you blinked quickly shrugging the thoughts to go along with the flow.
"Oh.. you noticed? I-I was trying to be a bit discreet about it." you laughed with a slightly forced smile. But they think of any of it since you were always the one smiling the most in the class.
"Todoroki-chan... You wasted your chance for the hero course for us?" another added revealing to you that they were also the small few that stole your points. 'I don't know what's going on and I don't know if I should nurture this...'
Your consciousness was weighing on you, to tell the truth. The idea of clearing things up was on the top of your mind but by now it was too late. Everyone was chattering amongst each other how kind and selfless you are. Tomodaichi was not helping as she fueled the banter with her own praises.
'For some reason, her praises are a bit over the top. I don't remember doing any of them...'
You thought an animated sweat trickling off the side of your face. Just when the crowd was about to devour you, you felt a pair of hair pull on your shoulders and direct you out of the bustling classroom. Quiet as a cat he closes the door holding a small cheeky grin.
"You seemed to be enjoying yourself."
"Shinso, what are you talking about? I was dying in anxiety!" you cried softly smacking on his shoulder as you murmur your woes away.
The boy with purple hair looked at you intensely when you weren't looking. As if he was looking for something before sighing with a low chuckle. You heard this and looked at him with a grumpy pout. "What's so funny, meanie?"
"Popular doesn't fit you." was all she said as he walked away bringing your bag with him.
"Huh!? What's that supposed to mean!?" you cried chasing after him with a frown that had him playfully keeping your bag out of your reach with a smirk.
"Nothing in particular."
