The windows were rolled down, and the cold air blew violently through your hair.
Music was blasting in your ears, and a smile spread across your face.

You screamed, singing, at the top of your lungs.
🎶"GETTING BACK TOGETHER!"🎶
Suna yelled back, holding onto the steering wheel.
🎶"You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends!"🎶
you continued, swaying to the beat of the song.
🎶"Talk to meeeeee!"🎶
Suna answered, he was laughing, an enthusiastic smile spread across his face, you had never seen him this happy.
It had been a while since you had listened to Taylor Swift, nostalgia hit you like a brick as you closed your eyes, letting the tunes of the song rush into your ears.
🎶"And I used to think, that we were forever ever!"🎶
you continued singing, leaning in closer towards Suna, until both of your heads were practically touching.
🎶"And I used to say never say never!"🎶
Suna giggled, screaming the lyrics almost as loud as you were.
"First date with Suna."
you thought, leaning back into your seat.
He had suggested the idea, he came up to you after school.
Grabbing your hand, a nervous look in his eyes.
"Wanna go on a date?"
He had asked, it almost sounded like he was whispering.
It surprised you, but without even thinking your blurted out:
"YES!"
You had immediately regretted your tone, thinking that you sounded a bit too excited.
Suna had given you a long hug, a look of pure anticipation in his eyes.
And now, you were driving with him to a beach.
Yes, it was strange, it was late November, no time to go to the beach.
But it didn't look like Suna cared about the weather.
You felt a bit guilty, leaving Atsumu at your doorstep like that.
His jaw had dropped to the ground the minute he even heard you say the word "date".
"WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!"
Atsumu had screamed.
Suna looked startled, the minute he saw the jealousy in Atsumu's eyes.
"Why this punk?"
Atsumu had asked, tightly grabbing your wrist.
"D-dude, chill out."
you had said, your voice was shaky.
Thankfully, Suna wasn't having it.
He had roughly removed Atsumu's hand.
"Stop acting like this 'Tsumu, this isn't you. Besides, you don't own her."
Suna snapped, as he opened the car door, leading you inside.
Suna was a bit hurt by his teammate's tone.
"This asshole needs to learn a thing or two about self-control from Osamu."
Suna had thought.
"Are you sure?"
Atsumu smirked, calling out to Suna as he pulled out of your driveway.
Suna rolled his eyes, and soon you two had driven away.
"What did the asshole mean by, are you sure?"
you thought, glancing out the window.
Suna could probably sense how unsettled you felt, because he carefully pulled one hand off of the steering wheel, and gently grabbed your chin.
Facing you towards him, he gave you a warm smile.
"I don't know what you're thinking about, but how about we forget it for today?"
He asked, giving you a slight smirk.
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan."
you replied happily.

The parking lot by the beach was mostly empty, the wind had picked up, and you felt yourself shiver uncontrollably.
You felt Suna place his jacket over your shoulders.
"Thank you."
you whispered, leaning on Suna.
He wrapped his arms around you as he locked the car door.
"Ready?"
He asked, pointing at the beach only a couple feet away.
The waves gently hit the shore, and the sand blew past your feet, as the wind carried it away.
It was a bit cloudy today, but somehow it made the beach look more ethereal.
"It's beautiful."
you whispered.
"Not as beautiful as you."
You blushed as you heard him say this.
Suna smiled, as he stood next to you.
He had a bento box in his hand, and a bag in the other.
You looked at him, a perplexed look on your face.
"Picnic on the beach."
Suna smiled, pointing at a small picnic table sitting by the boardwalk.
"Ah, how romantic."
you gushed, looking up at Suna.
His cheeks turned a shade of crimson.
"Well, it is a date."
He replied, as he walked towards the table.
You followed him, still glancing over at the gentle waves every couple seconds.
The beach was completely empty, obviously, only you and Suna were crazy enough to go to a beach in November.
You sat at the picnic table as Suna set a bento box in front of you.
"Onigiri!"
you exclaimed as you opened the box.
Suna nodded.
"I love these."
you smiled, as you started gobbling them up.
"Wow, you remind me of 'Samu. You know, the way you're eating."
Suna chuckled.
You looked up at him and grinned, your cheeks still stuffed with food.
He laughed.
"She's just like 'Samu."
He thought, watching you greedily stuff your mouth.

After eating basically all the food Suna had brought to the beach, the two of you decided to walk alongside the tide.
It was beautiful, maybe even a bit cliché, walking down the beach like this.
You looked up at the seagulls flying by, and the sun was starting to peek through the clouds.
After that, you lay in the sand, Suna had brought a beach towel just in case, so that way your clothes wouldn't get ruined.
It was relaxing watching time tick by, Suna had taken off his shoes and was dipping his feet in the cold sea water.
"Somehow this feels like home."
you thought, as you closed your eyes, a small smile spread across your face.
"(y/n)! Wake up!"
You heard a voice call out.
You quickly sat up and rubbed your eyes.
Suna was hovering over you.
"You fell asleep for at least an hour, and I was collecting seashells so I didn't notice."
He said, holding up a bucket full of seashells.
"Aw, like a little kid."
you thought, as you peered into his bucket.
He had gotten a pretty good amount of seashells.
"Well, I woke you up because of that."
Suna replied, pointing towards the sky.
It was a sunset.
You gasped.
"It's beautiful!"
you exclaimed, quickly standing up.
The sky was a mixture of many different colors and the sun seemed to be setting behind the ocean, just like in the movies.
You sat down, your jaw dropped, it was your first time seeing a sunset at the beach.
Suna nestled next to you, allowing you to rest your head on his shoulder.
"(y/n)?"
Suna suddenly asked.
You turned to look up at him.
"I wanna date you."
He whispered.
You felt your heart sink to your knees.
"W-Wait? Really?"
you asked, not quite sure how to react.
"And I would, but, I don't wanna hurt Osamu. Not until I'm completely sure that he's over you."
Suna replied solemnly.
"Oh."
you said softly.
You hadn't even thought about Osamu.
"I'm such a selfish bitch. I really need to give Osamu more of my time."
you thought, resting your head in your hands.
"S-so, what are you saying?"
you asked Suna.
He sighed, still admiring the sky.
"We can be a thing, and the minute Osamu is over you. We can date. But for now do you want to be exclusive, no labels, but just us?"
He asked, a faraway look in his eyes.
"No labels? Just a thing? So like him and Yuma back in October?"
you thought.
Your silence was nerve-wracking for Suna.
"Sure, no labels. Just us."
you smiled.
"For 'Samu."
He replied.
You nodded.
"For 'Samu."
you repeated under your breath.
Before you could say another word you felt Suna lean in and kiss you, a long kiss.
Your eyes went wide, but you just let it happen.
Just as the sun set, you two had locked lips.
"So cliché."
you thought, smiling.
-Meanwhile-
"HOW COULD SHE LEAVE ME LIKE THAT?!"
Atsumu complained, he had tears streaming down his face and his head was resting on Kita's kitchen table.
Kita rolled his eyes.
He knew that Atsumu's tears were solely for dramatic effect.
"She didn't leave you Atsumu, you guys were never a thing. She can go on a date with whoever she wants."
Kita explained, as he pulled on an apron.
"OH SHUT UP!"
Atsumu wailed.
Suddenly he felt the color drain out of his face.
He immediately regretted telling Kita to shut up.
Kita looked like he had a dark aura surrounding him, making him resemble a demon.
"What did you say Miya?"
Kita asked, in a stern voice.
"N-no! I DIDN'T MEAN IT! KITA-SAN PLEASE!"
Atsumu pleaded.
But it was too late, Kita had already started giving him a good spanking.
"You dumb little shit! You let jealousy get in between everything, and then you disrespect me?! You are so immature!"
Kita scolded, hitting the top of Atsumu's head with his wooden spatula.
"I was going to make you food out of pity, but nevermind that."
Kita said sternly.
Anger was still flashing across his eyes.
"GET OUT!"
Kita screamed, as he dragged Atsumu to his front door, kicking him out.
Atsumu puffed up his cheeks, as he sat on Kita's doorstep.
He was still in pain from Kita's beating.
"It's ok (y/n). I'll win you back."
Atsumu thought aloud, looking up at the sky.
He had a smirk spread across his face.
He had a plan.
And that meant trouble.
