After the defeat of Greed the due, sometimes trio, moved on forward. As the moved (Y/N) decided to try and strike up some conversation with Fury
(Y/N): So did you get a new power or did it just change your hairstyle
Fury: I don't know yet. We'll have to wait and see what I'm capable of. I do have a spear now
(Y/N): oh, cool
Fury: What about you? Discover any new abilities
(Y/N): Nope. I haven't been able to make that sword again either, can't really figure it out
Fury: You better, I won't be able to save you every time
(Y/N): Just give me some time
They soon find themselves back in the subway. Although this time they were on the second floor
(Y/N): Talk about one hell of a detour
Watcher: A necessary detour
Fury clears the area while (Y/N) watches from afar. As Fury was Fighting he decided to try and summon his sword again
He brought out his knife and gave it a try, although, nothing happened. The Watcher appeared beside him and did her job, which was watching.
Watcher: Still no luck I presume
(Y/N): Nope, I don't know how I did it though
Watcher: I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually
Fury finished the creatures off and continued moving. With no other way to go, the move back to where Rampage died. In the middle still lied Rampage with a spear in its side
The Watcher was about to say something but (Y/N) covered it's nonexistent mouth
Fury: I'll find who did this, and they'll pay in screams
She walked away and continued on the journey. Once again they find themselves in a dungeon with skeletons to annoy them. After that they found a pool of lava so Fury had to carry him through it
Fury: Are you comfortable princess
(Y/N): If I could walk through lava you know I would
Fury: sure you would
Fury seemed to be getting used to her company and she didn't even notice it
Time skip
After getting no progress done in the subway they decided to backtrack and ended up in the city again. This time Fury burned down things that got in her path. They found themselves in a new area of the city and more enemies to fight
They soon find themselves in front of an church. There was no front door and it was also at the edge of a cliff
Fury: That seems important
(Y/N): you don't say
Fury: I didn't ask you for an opinion
(Y/N): yet you welcome it with open arms
Fury: stop talking
(Y/N): well it wasn't a no
She scoffed and went closer to the church but came to a sudden stop. The Watcher came out as well seemingly confused
Watcher: What is it?
Fury: something about this place
Watcher: ah. You wish to repent for your sins
(Y/N): *sarcastic* funny. You should do stand up
Fury: I will rip both of your heads off both of your bodies
(Y/N): okay just calm down. We're just trying to lighten the mood
Watcher: see even your pet here agrees
A bright light then appeared out of nowhere and blind all of them in front of the church. From the light came an interesting figure
???: well well well. Imagine my disappointment. To think that this is the beat the council has to offer! Of the fabled four horsemen, the send the lowliest, the most pathetic of all. And what is this, the rumors were true, you even got yourself a pet
(Y/N): Why does everyone say that! I can make my own decisions as well I'll have you know
Fury: Shush human
He shuts up
Fury: Pride. Charming as ever. I've come for you
PRIDE
Pride: oh really? As if you'd know what to do with me if you had me
Fury went to attack her but Pride seemed to be surrounded by a forcefield
Pride: please. Spare me
Fury: are you not one of the great Seven Deadly? Fight me instead of cowering, you pompous, pathetic excuse-
(Y/N): she means your a bitch. Sorry we'd be here forever if we let you continue
Pride: your pet seems smart. Beneath my notice, like everything else in the creators "grand" experiment. Even the greatest treasures of heaven and hell pale beneath my light. Perhaps when I am the only sin left on this sad little rock, you will be worthy of an audience with me
(Y/N): can we hurry this up, if you're not gonna fight then could you step aside
Pride: my my what a brave little human
(Y/N): I have my moments
Pride: I bet. Fine I'll be in Aries if you make it there, which I doubt, I'll fight you. Till then I'll be leaving now
She then opens another portal and a bright light appears again. They uncover their eyes and see that Pride has left. Although the portal didn't close and stayed open
Watcher: What an insufferable creature
(Y/N): I would've said bitch but that would be an insult to the word
Fury scoffed, big surprise, and walked into the church. She looked mad at the church as if it was something that disgusted her
(Y/N): you got something on your mind
Fury: this place. Your kind cling so desperately to this iconography, the symbolism of heaven and hell. For thousands of years they held the fruit of creation in your hands but ignored it to squabble over totems and fables. What did the creators ever see in you.
(Y/N): you say that stuff like it's a bad thing. There's no shame in clinging onto your ideals
Fury: still doesn't explain the creators attachment for you humans
(Y/N): You say the creators made us, so in a way we're their children. I think they felt attached like a parent would to their children
Fury: why do you say that
(Y/N): if you had a child wouldn't you feel like it would be the best thing in your life
Fury: I wouldn't know, I don't plan on having children
(Y/N): well if you did then I can already tell you that they would be the best thing that would ever happen to you
Fury: *chuckling* when did you become all high and mighty
(Y/N): guess you could say I have experience
Fury: well I guess you could be right
(Y/N): I know I'm right. Now that ugly bird said to right her we need to kill the others right?
Fury: yes
(Y/N): well we already know where one of those sins are at. I say we go pay him a visit
Fury: I like this knew you, I wonder when you'll revert back to your useless self
(Y/N): you make it sound like you hate the other me
Fury: I wouldn't say hate but you do have your moments every now and then
(Y/N): yeah I know
Fury: well then. Let's pay sloth a visit shall we
(Y/N): we shall
They leave the church and head back to the subway to fight Sloth. All the while laughing and talking
I know it's been a long time but hear me out. I was lazy. Also this game got kinda boring to me but I'm back on it now so don't worry
Also I wasn't planning on talking to Pride next. I was farming in the game and I just stumbled upon her so I just made a chapter addressing this. Anyway hope you enjoyed it, bye
