AKI: "Now, μ's' first-year students: Rin Hoshizora, Maki Nishikino and Hanayo Koizumi. Please introduce yourselves!"
RIN: "Okay! I'm μ's' Rin Hoshizora! I'm a school idol with Maki and Kayo-chin!"
MAKI: "Hold on Rin. How are the fans reading this supposed to know who you're talking about?"
RIN: "What? But Kayo-chin's been Kayo-chin forever! Right, Kayo-chin?"
HANAYO: "I'm Hanayo Koizumi. Nice to meet you all! I don't expect anyone to understand, but I really like it when Rin calls me that."
AKI: "I'm sure they'll understand. The two of you are good friends after all."
RIN: *Chuckle* "I love Kayo-chin and cats and μ's. Oh, and running, too!"
Rin has so much energy today! She must have really been anticipating this interview.
Wait, but when isn't Rin full of energy?
RIN: "I didn't know much about school idols, but I'm glad I decided to try it out."
AKI: "Hanayo on the other hand, knew a lot about school idols."
HANAYO: "I did. I've lived school idols since long before I joined μ's!"
AKI: "If you've always liked them, then it was destiny that you would become one."
HANAYO: "At first, I never imagined becoming one. I was happy just watching them. But I jumped into the school idol world with Rin. It's tough sometimes, but we're very happy!"
RIN: "Maki, you're next."
MAKI: "I'm Maki Nishikino. I compose the music for μ's."
And every single composition is heartfelt.
MAKI: "Enough about me though. I'm interested in you."
AKI: "Wait, me?"
MAKI: "I heard from Honoka that not only are you affiliated with the Nijigasaki school idols. But you also write the music for them."
RIN: "Really? So you really are a school idol, too!"
AKI: "I already told you, I'm not a school idol because of obvious reasons. But instead I play a supporting role."
HANAYO: "A supporter? Sounds like a fun, worthwhile job!"
AKI: "It is! I wanted to come here not only to interview you guys, but to learn from you, too. I respect you and I want to know how you get prepared for concerts.
Oh, but I know some things might be confidential, so you don't have to tell me anything you don't want made public."
HANAYO: "I see. We don't do anything we need to hide though."
MAKI: "That's right. I'm in the process of composing a new song. So why don't you come to the music room with us?"
AKI: "Can I? F-For real? Just like that?"
RIN: "Of course! That's what you came here for, right?"
HANAYO: "And you've done an amazing job helping us so far. So it's time for us to give something back."
AKI: "Everyone... Thank you!"
μ's composing a song... This is going to be amazing! I feel like I'm opening Pandora's box here, the second secret to the songs of μ's!

AKI: "Umm, are all three of you writing it? Rin and Hanayo, do you help?"
RIN: "Nope, Maki is the one that writes the music."
AKI: "I see. Wait, are those-"
RIN: "Do your best, Maki!"
HANAYO: "We're cheering for you!"
AKI: "Maracas?!"
I see, so do the other two just cheer Maki on while she composes?
AKI: "Is this always what it's like when you write songs?"
MAKI: "Pretty much. I sometimes write by myself, but most of the time these two are with me."
I'd probably get distracted if people were right there while I was trying to write.
Trying to play the piano and write music with someone else yelling and playing instruments? It's just annoying to me.
MAKI: *Giggle* "It's strange to see, right?"
AKI: "I wouldn't say that. I'm just so used to focusing and writing music by myself, so I'm a little surprised."
MAKI: "If we're talking about focus, I'm definitely better off on my own."
RIN: "Hooray, hooray Maki!"
HANAYO: "Go, go Maki! Wooo!"
MAKI: "Having someone cheer for me doesn't necessarily mean I come up with good songs. It's not bad though.
Plus when I play the piank like this, interesting things happen."
AKI: "Like what?"
RIN: "Nyaa, nya, nya, nya!"
HANAYO: "Hm, hmm hm hmmm!"
MAKI: "Lalalala!"
Their voices are harmonizing. It's more like a session than song writing.
MAKI: "You want to play something? You could sing if you like, too."
AKI: "I don't sing."
RIN: "Or you can shake some maracas with us."
HANAYO: "You can dance with us, too!"
AKI: "I don't dance."
So this is how μ's writes their music? I don't think I understand it.
