Nobody else has come, so I've decided to walk around a little. Nobody's walking in the halls, so rare moments like this where I can't be judged are nice.
AKI: "Oh, hey! Eli, Nozomi! Let's do our best today!"
ELI: "Of course! But I still have some work for the student council to do. Can you head over to the room first?"
AKI: "Oh yeah, you two are on the student council. Will you be long?"
NOZOMI: "Probably. There's a lot of it, but it's easy work."
AKI: "I'd love to help, but I don't know the first thing about student council. I know about politics and elections and all that, but running a student council? No way."
ELI: "Oh..."
NOZOMI: "This one might be good, don't you think?"
AKI: "What? Wha...?"
...
ELI: "The most important job of the student council is to work on improving life at school.
We plan events and arrange contacts, and even volunteer out in the community."
AKI: "I see..."
NOZOMI: "Yeah! We also budget for clubs and manage their activity schedules. We want everyone to get the budget and classroom they need, y'know?"
AKI: "So the student council is directly in charge of clubs? So, say if a club wasn't within the council's expectations... Then they have the authority to abolish that club? Even without the club's permission?"
ELI: "Well, I wouldn't go that far. The council have the authority to do that, but that's just too totalitarian."
AKI: "An abuse of power, huh?"
I'm so glad that Setsuna is really the Nijigasaki student council president Nana Nakagawa. Anyone else would have pulled the plug on the club before it could have even been reformed.
At Otonokizaka... Eli is the student council president, and Nozomi is the vice president. This school doesn't need to worry with them in charge.
ELI: "I thought we could have you schedule some club activities. That kind of support would go a long way.
Things like contacting the school band to swe if they wouldn't mind μ's using the music room when it has an opening."
NOZOMI: "Oh, and don't worry. We do all the negotiating with club presidents."
AKI: "I see! I think I might be able to handle that."
Contacting the Nijigasaki Computer Club for Rina's Rina-chan Board was no problem. So this shouldn't be any different.
Although I am in a different school here... An all girl's one at that.
NOZOMI: "You can check everything with is at first, just like we're doing now."
ELI: "Let's take a break. All this new stuff must be tiring."
AKI: "Oh, yeah. Thanks."
I know Eli and Nozomi are just high school students like me, but they seem way more put together.
NOZOMI: "You look like you want to say something. Is there anything you don't understand?"
AKI: "No, it's not like that. You two just seem much more mature than me."
ELI: "You...really think that? I bet adults just think we're normal high school students, though."
NOZOMI: "Yeah! This may surprise you, but Eli-chi can be super cute sometimes!"
ELI: "Why would that surprise anyone, Nozomi?!"
NOZOMI: *Giggle* "It's true, isn't it?"
So even Eli can be cute...
AKI: "She's cute right now!"
ELI: "H-Harasho?! D-Don't say that to my face. It's embarrassing. I don't even know if there's anything cute about me. Even if there were, I doubt I could show anyone. Everyone has different facets, so let's all try to discover each other's."
AKI: "Yeah!"
Different facets of Eli. Talk about curious!
ELI: "Oh, I almost forgot. We've arranged it so that you can not only enter school grounds, but you can pretty much do whatever you want within school grounds."
AKI: "Really? Thank you so much!"
ELI: "Within sensible reasons of course. After all... I'm sure that you're not planning on doing anything bad, right?"
NOZOMI: "Oh, that's a possibility. We could have a spy in our midst."
A SPY?!
AKI: "I-I would never!"
NOZOMI: *Giggle* "Just kidding! This one is fun, Eli-chi! It's not like we have any secret documents floating around here."
AKI: "Right..."
NOZOMI: "We're probably going to put you in charge of club schedules, so we want you to get acquainted with the student council room."
ELI: "We'll explain the finer details later."
AKI: "Thanks. So if it's within the boundaries, I heard you mention a music room. Can I go see it?"
ELI: "Of course, nobody should be in there now anyway. Just make sure you don't break anything."
AKI: "Thanks! And don't worry, I'm a musician. I know what I'm doing."
ELI: "One more thing before you leave, can we try doing the interviews tomorrow? I'm guessing that you have a lot of information already."
AKI: "Sure, I can do that. The second years' are first, then we'll go with the first years. You can be last to be interviewed so it doesn't disrupt your student council schedule."
ELI: "You're quick to think, I like that."
