The Next Morning . . .
I felt my phone buzzing loud in my ear making me instantly get up.
Getting up was the worse move I made. Instantly feeling a shot of pain in my head.
I slowly got up going to the restroom looking for my aspirin.
I grabbed two of them getting me some water from the faucet.
After taking a leak, I went in the shower cleaning myself off from last night events
I went out with the boys, just to have some guy time.
I ain't gone front this parenting shit kind of hard.
I'm to the point where I just need space. My mama was a real soldier handling me by herself .
Speaking of her I haven't talk to her in a minute.
I got out the shower putting on some Grey Nike sweats and shirt to go pick up Kiki.
My ass got too carried away and ended up getting too drunk. Luckily Brandon drop me off. I called him real quick to take me to my car.
I got in my g-wagon heading to Sierra place.
Hopefully this want be an issue between us.
This my second time leaving her with Kiki for my guilty pleasure.
For some reason I couldn't get the statement Ant made off my mind. I just hope last night it was made clear to her.
I was single wanted to do my own thing foreal.
Sierra seems like a sweet girl, but not for me.
I've been tied down and don't ever plan to do that again.
Shit was stressful.
And besides that she only having my kids.

Yep that's exactly what we are.
I was finally pulling up to her door. I killed the engine getting out the truck.
Knocking on her door I waited patiently for her to answer.
Only to be faced with a stranger.
" who the hell are you" she asked with her arms crossed
I took a step back to make sure I was at the right door.

It was too early for the nonsense.
" Aye look I didn't come for all that. Is Sierra here"
" Ices who's at th-"
Just then Sierra came through the front feeding Ki-Ki who had food particles all over her face.
" Julian why didn't you call me she's not ready" She said with annoyed look.
So everybody waking up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
" It shouldn't matter, you know I was coming to get her"
" Nigga bye ! With that lame ass excuse"
" Yo get your broad ass friend"
" boy your better be lucky this baby right here otherwise I would of smacked yo ass"
" Ices please chill" she said to her before facing me.
" Julian we need to talk"
" In private please" she said to her friend.
" Fine, I'll let y'all talk but baby girl will be with me so she can finish her food"
" Hell Nawl, ion know you like that" I said to her.
Just when she was about to say some Sierra stopped her.
" it's fine"
She stood outside barefoot closing her door.
" Listen I'm sorry, bout last night, I got carried aw-"
" Julian this is the second time, I'm not some baby sitter that you can just dump her off on. She is your responsibility more than anything"
" I know I know" I said with my head down.
I pulled out five hundred dollars to give to her.
" Here you go for taking care of her"
" I don't want your freaking money" she said as her face scrunched up.
" well what do you want me to do then"
" Take care of her"
I watched as Ki-Ki stared at me with a mug on her face.
Maybe it's cause the sun was coming out.
" I'm not good with this shit" I said shaking my head stepping back.
How I'm suppose to have kids when I can't even take care of her.
" For one thing you start by putting your priorities in check. You have a child in your care now . . ."
" She needs to come first before anything"
" You make that sound so easy"
" because you are so use to doing you, which is . . . what ever that is" She said shrugging her shoulders.
" but remember she is a priority"
" Right Ki-Ki" Sierra said touching her cheek making her giggle.
" by the way she needs to be finishing eating"
" are you hungry too ?"
Right on que my stomach growl.
" well I guess so then" she said shaking her head.
" Look I haven't ate since I woke up" I said slightly embarrass.
" I bet" she said as she open the door.
I walked in taking a seat.
" Si-Si I'm bout to leave, I'll stop by later"
" okay, text me"
" Definitely will, bye princess"
I watched as she quickly interact with her, before she shot me a glare.
" See ya later jack-ass"
" Yo how you friends with her" I said pointing to the door that she went out of.
" look she is just a concerned that's all" she said shrugging her shoulders.
" concerned my ass, she just seem bitter" I said.
" ok what you not finna do is talk about my sis" Sierra said coming to me with a full plate of grits,eggs, sausage patties, and waffles.
My mouth instantly water at the sight infront of me.
" Thank you" I said to her as she walked over to the mini table where Ki-Ki was sitting in a high chair.
" How you know to get a high chair for her"
" Well my bitter friend got it earlier this morning" she smirked, before feeding Ki-Ki who was trying to talk.
" Have you ate ?" I questioned
" I'll eat later" she said waving me off.
I figured she had to wake up early to do this, while making sure Ki-Ki was straight.
Now I was feeling bad.
I sat my plate down going to the kitchen where she was.
" Aye where the plates at"
" in the top cabinet" she said paying no attention to what I was doing.
I quickly fixed her a plate.
" Here" I said to her.
" Julian I said I'll eat later"
" Nah you gone eat now" I said forking some eggs and grits feeding it to her.
" ba-ba" Ki-Ki chanted
" you don't have to do this" she said
" why dont you eat while I finish feeding her" I said
" ok" she said standing up.

Sierra
I open my eyes realizing I was in my room. I felt so comfortable but I knew I had to get up.
I stretch a little before making my way to the living room.
Instantly I smile at the cutest thing in front of me. Kianna laying on top of Julian while he sprawled out on the couch.
Like they had the longest day together. I quickly went to go get my phone for this Kodak moment.
After taking the picture I sat it down cleaning up.
More like washing dishes from breakfast.
It was 5pm at the time, and I needed to work on some assignments.
My classes pretty flexible but still made sure I did all my assignments, I cannot afford to slack.
Just as I was putting up the last dish. I heard moving around.
I look to see Julian getting up.
" so you were the one that put me in bed"
He smirked a little.
Okay maybe that didn't come out right.
" Yes, you ate your food and was out"
Oh wow.
All of a sudden my feet start to hurt. I looked down at my feet seeing how swollen they have gotten.
I hate it sooo much. I was already a big girl and it was not helping.
" hey what's wrong" he said looking worried.
I guess it was showing in my face.
" I'm fine"
" no you not . . . just tell me"
" everything, the weight gain, my feet hurt, I can't stand for too long" I said letting my frustration out.
I feel so dumb now for telling him.
Next thing I know he turned me around making my legs be in his lap.
" if I can help I will" he said instantly massaging my feet.
Ain't gone lie it felt so good.
I felt the babies moving all of a sudden.
" what's wrong ?"
" they are moving around"
I grabbed his hand so that he can feel them.
He looked so shocked.
It was kinda cute.
" they must really like you" I said staring at him.
It was like a switch went off when his hands came in contact with my stomach.
" my boys . . . my boys" he kept repeating.
" your boys ? . . . watcha mean"
" I hate to break it to you but you got my sons in there mamas"
My heart flutter a little at the sound of that.

I quickly cleared my throat and sat up.
" Imma go put her in my room" I said slowly standing up.
" Aight, gotta take this call" he said as his phone started to ring
I carefully put her down on my bed watching her squirm a little.
I went back in the living room seeing Julian still on the phone.
" Mama we good"

" she is good I promise"

" ooo you cookin all that"
" okay bet , love you"
I waited for him to get off the phone.
He turned around facing me.
" that's my ma, she want to meet you this Sunday"
Ok this is big.
" oh wow this Sunday" I said feeling my heart pound.
I felt like this is something I need to prepare for.
" don't be nervous my mama love everybody"
Something with dudes claiming that they mamas love everybody don't ever sit right with me.
Especially after getting pregnant from a one nightstand.
Yep this ain't gone end well.
" Ju think about this, you getting some random female pregnant. Not a friend of yours or some high school sweet heart" I said to him.

" So this is the girl you got knocked up" my mama said looking Sierra up and down.
Well I guess I wasn't right about this one.
" Mama . . . This is Sierra" I said giving her that look like chill.
" hi it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am" she said.
" yea you too, y'all can come in" Mama said without acknowledging her handshake.
Lord please let this dinner go well.
" awwwl look at my Suga baby getting big" she said to Kianna who was still in my arms.
She was excited to see her.
" I got some goodies for you in the kitchen" she slowly took her out my arms.
Me and Sierra sat in the living room quietly.
" I'm sorry about my mama she not usually like this"
" I bet she isn't" Sierra said facing straight ahead.
" and what does that suppose to mean" I said looking at her questionably.
" Julian we have already talked about this" she said trying to keep her voice down.
Just then my mama came back with Kianna who had a tablet in her along with a bowl of grapes in tow.
I would like to be her right now.
" so how many months are you ?" She asked Sierra
" almost five months"
" sweetie you look a little too big for five"
I know Sierra was taking back by that comment.
So was I.
" yea that's because I'm having twins" she said clearing her throat.
" Twinssss" my mama said loudly.
Okay maybe I left that out.
" you sound sooo surprise he didnt tell you" Sierra said looking at me then her
" that's because I am, this fool didn't tell me" mama said staring at my with her pointed eye.
That face-make would straighten me up real quick when I was young.
" listen I just been busy it slip my mind" I said shrugging my shoulders.
" boy what in the world you gone do, when them babies get here"
" and you missy, I hope you ain't no gold digging whore either, my baby has worked for everything he got. I'm pretty sure you heard about that last chick"

I was starting to feel bad now.

I may not have known her for that long but I know she ain't that type of person.

I watched as my mother stayed quiet.
" look Ju I just don't want you being taking away again and stressed out all over a woman."
" mama she ain't taking me away from you and besides that we not even together"
" boy that girl is beautiful, I was only being mean because this woman came out the blue " my mama said smirking.

speaking of I need to find her. She drove here with me.

I walked out the house not seeing no signs of Sierra.
Eventually resulted in me calling her.

It sounded like she was crying.
" you okay, where are you ?"

" excuse me would you like another slice of cake" I heard in the background.
" does it look like I need another one" I heard her say
At the moment I knew her exact location
I quickly got in my car heading her way.

I stared at the couple that were some tables down from me.
Then there was a family who look so happy to be around each other.
Then there is me all by my damn self.
I really wish life had a reset button.
My phone vibrated.
It was a text from Ices.
Bestie 👯♀️: DONT let his aggy ass mama bother you baby girl. Remember you got me and Mal we are here for you.
I smiled at the message.
The sound of the chair screeching next to me alerted.
I instantly rolled my eyes at the smell of the familiar cologne that was starting to make me feel sick.
" I didn't ask you to come get me"
" I know you didn't, I want to come here and apologize for the words my mama said"
" you don't need to be apologizing on her behalf. I'm pretty sure she meant every word she said" I said picking with the red velvet cake.
Sadly this was my second slice.
" no she didn't, for one thing I'm her only child . She just care about me a lot"
I mentally rolled my eyes at the foolish excuse.
" okay Ju" I said absentmindedly
" by the way how you know I like red velvet cake" He said picking up my fork.
