You nearly gave up trying to unlock the door. You were this close to just knocking as you heard the click. You huffed, opening the door to your apartment. Kicking off your shoes and shedding your purse and jacket, you made your way to the couch. You bellyflopped down onto the soft cushions.
You were closing your eyes as Allison's head poked out of your room.
She gazed sympathetically at your tired form collapsed on the couch. She sat down on the floor next to where you lay and rubbed your back. "Hey," she said softly.
You opened your eyes to meet hers, a halfhearted smile briefly flashing on your face. "Cuddles?"
She smiled warmly and nodded. "Of course."
You groaned as you made room for her on the couch, where she wrapped her arms around you. "I'm starting to like people less and less."
She glanced down at you where you were cradled against her chest. "What have they done to you today, my love?"
"Nothing in particular." You nuzzled into her. Taking in her scent. The mental fog that had settled in after hours of interacting with strangers was beginning to lift. "I'm just so tired of people."
She continued to rub your back. She knew there were some days you just liked to be held, and she was always more than willing to oblige.
It had surprised her the first time you asked. She was used to being cast away when those she loved were upset, but then here you were wanting her more than ever. She had never felt more seen (or loved). You had helped her see herself in more than a sea of black material and compulsive lies beginning for attention, so if holding you reciprocated even the slightest amount of love you had instilled in her, she'd do it every day and then some.
Uncurling yourself, you slowly moved away. You opened your mouth to speak but decided against it. Instead, you chose a different course of action for your lips.
Allison nearly gasped as you attached yourself to her mouth. You weren't normally like this when you came home asking for cuddles. She kissed back, of course, and her hands gripped your hips.
You held her face in your hands, and as you pulled back, your thumbs smoothed over her cheeks. You smiled before curling back up into her lap.
She blinked before replacing her arms around you. Nothing felt better than this.
Dksbdksbejd idk what this is but I just rlly want this. Anyway, I'm lowkey procrastinating on that part 3 bc I'm still trying to figure out where to go w it and all that jazz. So we'll get fluff until then. M'kay.
