AKI: "Don't worry about it, you clearly care a lot about her, so it's only reasonable that you want her to succeed."
UMI: "True... So you're going to be helping us, aren't you?"
AKI: "Yeah. I'm looking forward to it, Umi! I'm excited to see what I can do. I'd been waiting so long to come here."
UMI: *Giggle* "I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do together. As you can see, Honoka and Kotori are excited for it, too!"
AKI: "I'm happy to hear that. Say, Umi... You've been friends with Honoka and Kotori since you were small, right? Do you hang with them on your days off?"
UMI: "Yes, sometimes. I often have Japanese dance and archery practice, though."
AKI: "You do Japanese dancing and archery on top of being a school idol? Sounds hectic."
UMI: "I've been doing both since I was little, so I'm used to it. I feel restless if I'm not practicing them, actually."
AKI: "I see!"
It sounds like practicing is something that just comes naturally to her.
AKI: "So, did you start your school idol life because of your Japanese dancing?"
UMI: "Oh, no! I guess you can say that Honoka dragged me into it. I barely knew school idols existed before that. It was Honoka's dream, too."
AKI: "Wait, so this was Honoka's dream? Becoming a school idol?"
UMI: "Honoka dreams of getting the whole school excited through being a school idol. I want that dream of hers to come true."
AKI: "Honoka is really important to you, isn't she?"
UMI: "Yes, she's always dragging me around, but I don't mind it. I think Kotori feels the same way."
AKI: "So you're in μ's to fulfill her dream?"
UMI: "Oh, no! That's not the only reason! I wasn't interested at first, but... The more I practice and perform on stage with everyone, the more I grow to like school idols.
Honoka has always been bringing us into new worlds with her, even since we were kids. It's hard to explain how I feel about school idols, but I think you might already understand it."
AKI: "Learning to love school idols? I'm not sure I get it yet."
UMI: "Huh. You might need to dive a little deeper into the world of school idols, then. Don't worry though! I'll think up a great regimen to get you more familiar with school idols!"
A great regimen...?
UMI: *Giggle* "Looks like we're going to like school idols even more."
AKI: "Yeah, I can't wait!"
Umi is serious about being a school idol. I have to do my best to support her. Not just Umi... But everyone else, too.
This may be a bigger challenge than Aqours.
KOTORI: "See? That didn't take long."
HONOKA: "Kotori, you always make everything look so easy..."
UMI: "You should really remember to do your homework, Honoka."
HONOKA: "But it's so boring! Making sweets and eating bread is so much more fun."
UMI: "That's something you need to also maintain... Don't make things difficult for Kotori."
KOTORI: "Oh, speaking of costumes. I have some for you both to try on."
HONOKA: "Really? That's great!"
UMI: "We cannot undress here."
HONOKA: "Why not?"
UMI: "..."
AKI: "I should probably leave."
UMI: "No it's fine, there is a locker room not far from here."
AKI: "Are you sure?"
HONOKA: "Don't worry, you're our guest!"
Oh, they left.
KOTORI: "Sorry we surprised you like that before. They usually get along well."
AKI: "That's okay! I always see how well you guys get along. Your stage chemistry is beyond anything I've seen before."
KOTORI: *Giggle* "They both have strong opinions, so sometimes they butt heads. I think that's because they can really trust each other, though!"
AKI: "Good point! I can tell that both of them trust you, too."
KOTORI: "You think they trust me? I sure would be glad if they did."
AKI: "Kotori... You put a lot of importance on your relationship with them, don't you?"
KOTORI: "They work very hard, so I try to support them as best I can!"
*VIBRATION*
KOTORI: "Oh dear, Umi is having trouble putting the costume on. I'll be back soon."
Looks like I'm all alone in here again. There isn't much time left today either.
They're friends and trusted companions, I guess. I have to do my best to support them!
