*Jenna's POV*
Walking away from Jack sucked.
Sure I walked away like I was going to be back in a few seconds. I did that because if I wouldn't have then I would have collapsed crying. Leaving Jack this time is harder than the last time that I did because I know that the next time I come back is in three months. I want to come back sooner, but we chose three mo this because that's when Skye and Cameron are having their wedding.
I clear my mind from all thoughts that are negative and I walk through all those boring things that are required. Then I walk to my flight gate, I sit there for awhile then a bunch of screaming teenage girls walk by.
"OH MY GOD! YOU ARE JENNA LEE! JACK JOHNSON'S GIRLFRIEND!" One screams.
"Yeah and quiet down a bit." I say trying to sound happy.
"Is Jack here with you?" Another asks.
"N-no. UN-unfortunately h-has t-to stay." I stutter.
"Did you guys have a fight?" The first one asks.
"What? No. I have to leave for school. Now I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone." I say quite harshly.
They all start backing up before turning around and running away. Finally. I actually miss their annoying questions. Sure they only asked a few, but now I am stuck with nothing but my own thoughts and questions.
«Skip plane ride»
I arrive at the university and I walk to the main office. I had no choice, but to stay in a dorm room. A cranky old woman is sitting behind the counter of the office when I arrive. I walk up and see that there is a waiting list for assistance.
I put my name in the spot that is labeled as #46. if that woman is the one helping then nothing will get done today. I sit down and realize that I have have three bags of luggage that are basically guarding me.
I sit there and wait for three hours, and then the cranky woman speaks up, "Jenna Lee for her dorm key."
I stand up and grab my bags, "That would be me." I say.
"Enjoy the room dear and sorry for the wait." she says sweetly.
"Thank you and no problem." I reply.
"NEXT!" she yells
Maybe she is only nice to me.
I look around the filled room and check the waiting list the last spot filled is #79. Gosh how many problems can this school have? I grab my key and then start towards my dorm. I hope I don't get stuck with some roommate that always has weird guys over. I don't want my experience to be bad.
I walk into the dorm and see that the room has zero people in it other than me. I walk further into the room and take in its small size and the fact that there is like nothing in the room other than the provided furniture. Maybe I won't have problems at all.
«A Few Hours Later»
As I finish settling in to my new dorm the door opens. a girl with another girl clutching her side walks in. They are a little dazed, almost looking drunk. They start talking, but it all comes out slurred. Definitely drunk.
"Hello. Which one of you is my roommate?" I ask.
"Shhhh E iiiiiissssss." one says pointing to the other.
"Thhhhatt wwould beee needs." the one that was pointed at says.
I just nod and then go to sleep. I really don't want to deal with a bunch of drunk people. I have a sleep filled with memories of Jack, my wonderful sons, and my friends back in California happy with me.
«The Next Morning»
I ask up and see a pair of unfamiliar eyes, leaving Jack wasn't a dream obviously or those would be his eyes. The eyes are right in front if my face making me uncomfortable so I blink a few times and squirm.
"Who are you?" The owner of the eyes says stepping back revealing a girl.
I sit up and decide to answer, "I'm Jenna Lee. Who are you?"
"I'm Aimee Brad." the girl says.
"Nice to meet you. Just wondering what time is it." I ask.
"Nice to meet you as well. It's 11:35 by the way." Aimee answers.
"CRAP!" I yell.
I frantically run around the room and gather my things for class. While I am trying to do this Aimee is constantly asking me questions about my personal life.
I finally make it out of the dorms and I head to class. When I am about to make it there ten minutes early my phone rings. A picture of Jack sleeping with Ethan and Adian appears on the screen.
Jack's calling.
I answer and hold my breath in hopes that he will talk first so I don't think he accidentally called. I haven't talked to him since he dropped me off at the airport yesterday. I am like deathly scared.
(J-Jack, L-Jenna)
J- Jenna? Are you there?
L- Jack. I'm here what's up? Is everything alright?
J- Yeah everything is perfectly fine here. I was calling since I was woken up by the boys and figured that you would be up already.
L- What time is it there?
J- Well it's 11:53 in New York, so it's 8:53 here.
L- I'm guessing you looked at the time there and did that math. So I miss you guys. Can I video chat you guys tonight? O would do it now now, but I have seven minutes until class starts. That and I rather talk and see you guys tonight.
J- Of course you can video chat us tonight. I am actually having Skye, Cameron, and Gilinsky, over so you get to see some of our friends.
L- LUCKY! I miss all of you! I wish that I could be there with you guys.
J- Just think in three short months you will be here celebrating a wedding and the boys being a few months older. When you come back you are going to transfer right?
L- I will definitely be transferring because I can't stay this far away from everybody. It totally sucks.
J- Yeah well I have to get going. Have a good day at school. Love you baby.
L- I will have a good day at school of you have a good day. Love you baby.
I hang up my phone and see that I have two minutes to get to class and be ready for everything. I walk into my first class and see that nobody is there. I take a seat in the front row and somebody comes in and takes a seat right next to me. I look over at the person and immediately I am super angry.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I shriek.
«Cliffhanger sort of»
(Hey! Sorry for not updating earlier but every time I would start typing my laptop would exit out of the internet. Since I had that problem this was retyped on my kindle. So I am sorry if the quality isn't the best. I had a draft from trying to upload it on my laptop multiple times so if something was double typed or doesn't make sense I am sorry.
