Niall’s P.O.V.
It’s been a week now since we kissed. That kiss, that kiss which gave me a thousand reasons to be happy and even a thousand more reasons not to be lonely. It was blissful. As much as possible, we utilized all means of communication with each other these past few days. I was having the feeling, the feeling of falling further in love.
Zayn’s such a determinate guy. I learned that he lost his job because of an irrational matter. He’s for revenge. But as we conversed, I managed to express my views. I wasn’t for revenge. I told him that life’s too short; that he shouldn’t waste his time to such ‘specks of dust.’
I then recommended him for the university paper. He was fine with my idea. In fact, he would want to work at a place the same as mine. His application’s still in the process.
Meanwhile, another day of imparting information passed and I was off to go home. I was in the faculty room and I noticed that Louis’ things were still on his desk.
“Hmmm, where in the world is Louis?” I asked myself.
I suddenly remembered that he was conducting rehearsals for an upcoming play. I decided to go straight to the auditorium for it would be the most sensible place to conduct such rehearsals. Along the way, I met some students, who I suppose were the drama teacher’s apprentices.
“Uhm, have you seen Mr Tomlinson?” I questioned a young lady who struck me as a burlesque dancer – perhaps her role.
“Sir, Mr Tomlinson’s at the backstage of the auditorium,” she replied considerately.
“Thanks…. And nice role of yours.”
“Oh! Thank you, sir. Don’t you ever miss our play!”
“I sure won’t!”
We then parted ways and I continued my search for Louis. I sped off to the backstage. I stopped at an unexpected scene. My eyes zeroed and my jaw dropped until I managed to accumulate some words.
“Oooooh! Sorry guys. I didn’t mean to disturb your ‘moment.’ Next time, make sure that you ensure your privacy.” I said turning back, shifting my weight, and blasting out; hoping that Louis would chase after me and give me the benefit of an explanation.
