tony turned, smiling instantly when you came through the door. you outstretched your hand, offering him another cup of coffee. he accepted it, placing it down on his desk.
reaching out his arm, he wrapped it around your torso, pulling you to him. you chuckled softly, resting your hand on the back of his head. staring down, you nodded at the holograms in front of him. ❝busy day?❞
he shrugged, continuing to look at you. ❝it's all right.❞ your hand travelled up, running through his greying hair. ❝it's better now, though.❞
you couldn't help but blush. even after nearly four years of marriage, tony could still make you feel like you were newly dating again. every day you fell more and more in love with him.
leaning down, you kissed the top of his head. ❝don't come to bed too late, okay? you don't wanna wake your daughter again.❞
he laughed through his nose, giving your side a squeeze. ❝wouldn't dream of it, sweetheart.❞
the two of you met in the middle for a sweet kiss before you departed to your bedroom. his eyes lingered on the door, wondering how he got so lucky to end up with someone like you.
