Today was a special day not only for me but for my two besties, Tiny and Brie we will be graduating today and i am more than excited to be finishing up high school for good. I had got into my dream College Clark University, and you're probably wondering why i didn't move as far away, only because i would miss my momma good cooking so that's why i stayed. I had got woken up to my mom coming in my room pushing back my curtains.
"Get up Nia it's 7:30 and you need to get at school at 8:15" she said pulling the covers off me
"i'm up momma dang" i told her before checking my phone to see if i had any notifications i should check
"just get ya ass up and take a shower i made breakfast" she said while walking to the door
I got up and went straight into the bathroom, once i was done i put some lotion on my body before putting my tube top dress on along with my black red bottom heels Kason had got me, i sprayed my wig with some water to give it some beach vibes before going downstairs to eat my breakfast. Once i was done i grab my keys telling everyone i was leaving out the door, my phone started ringing seeing it was Tiny calling me
"bro where you at?" she said into the phone
"i'm coming did they start rehearsal?" i asked her as i pulled out the driveway
"nah but we gone start soon hurry up hoe" she said while hanging up
i rolled my eyes this girl steady telling me what to do, it didn't take long for me to get to my school. i got out the car fast walking to the gym seeing all of the fellow graduates sitting and talking to their friends i looked around for Tiny and Melissa they we're sitting at the far end of the gym i walked over towards them sitting next to Tiny.
"ouu Nia you look good" Melissa said
"thank you boo i'm so ready for us to get up out here" i said to them
"same i'm sho not gone miss this hoe ass school" Tiny said while typing on her phone

"Brie you was suppose to be at the school 10 minutes ago" my granny said as she came in my room with Josiah on her hip
"i know i'm just trying to my find my white heels" i told her as i looked through my closet i sucked my teeth once i seen them laying in the corner i slip them on before walking to my granny car she was letting me use since Malik was going to pick her up
"i'll see y'all later" i told her
"okay we be there" she said while waving
i couldn't believe today was the day i'll finally graduate, i was more than ready to get the hell out of high school and start my life. I always thought that me, Nia, and Madison would be together for this day but with everything that went down in the past our friendship isn't the same anymore, Maddie hangs with the oops and Nia goes to a different school i miss the old days when it was just us but we all out grew each other me and Nia still cool just not as tight as we we're but our friendship can get back to that one day, i pulled up to the school taking a deep breath.
"let's go get this diploma" i said to myself

"i can't believe you did it my babygirl graduated i knew it she gets it from her momma" my momma said to her facebook live
i laughed while posing for some pictures i took with my sister
"i'm so proud of you Nia i know our relationship isn't the best but we're going to work it out" my dad said while hugging me
he was right our relationship isn't the best but i'm open to working it out since i do want him back into my life for good again. i seen Kason standing off to the side smiling at me i walked up to him giving him a kiss.
"i'm proud of you momas" he said while grabbing my wrist
"thank you i'm glad it's over" i told him
"i got something i want to give you for being down ass female and for graduating" he said
i smiled he stayed giving me gifts but i wasn't complaining he said he would be back since it was in his car so i nodded and proceeded to go take some more pictures with Tiny and Melissa, i also decided to call Brie since their graduation should be over as well
"hey boo" she said into the phone
"wassuh congrats to us for getting the hell up out of school" i told her into the phone
"i know right i thought we would never finish but what you doing after?" she asked me
"my momma throwing a little party you and granny should drop by i would love to see y'all" i told her
"ight we going to go take some more pictures then will be headed that way but i gotta go" she said
"ight girl i'll see you" i told her before hanging up
"momma said are you riding with us?" Noah asked
"Nah tell her i'm going with Kason" i said while i seen his car pull up
i soon made my way over there seeing him open the door for me i smiled and got in while he made his way to his side "ight this the first gift" he said while handing me a box
"first?" i asked him while giving him a look
he sucked his teeth "just open it girl" he said
i did as i was told i open the box to see a light blue cuban link sitting right there in my face. "how much was this?" i asked him while looking at him
"enough now try it on" he said

i tried it on which it fit perfectly around my neck, before i knew it Kason pulled out two more bags one from Louis Vuitton and the other from Chanel. I grab the Chanel bag since it was my favorite brand thanks to him, i seen all black sandals shoes which looked like it cost him some money.
"these are so cute" i told him as i tried them on they fitted nicely on my feet along with my white toes to match
"ight open this" he said handing me the Louis Vuitton bag
"Kason this bag is beautiful" i told him
"i know it cost 12,500" he said while licking his lips
"it cost how much? nope take it back" i told him
he gave me a look "hell nah ian taking it back it's a limited addition you keeping that" he said while starting the car up
i laughed "thank you baby i really do appreciate all of this" i told him while leaning in for a kiss
"you still got one more gift left it's at your house tho" he said
"really? you went out for ya girl you must really love me" i told him
"to death" he said while smirking
We pulled up to my house seeing a lot of cars outside i hopped out the car walking to the door, i seen half of my momma side and my daddy side.
"hey everyone" i said as i give everyone hugs once i was done with that i changed into some comfy clothing, i looked on my bed seeing it was a Louis Vuitton box that was sitting right in front of me i opened it seeing it was some heels i knew that Kason left it their for me.
i put the shoes in my closet before leaving out my room i seen one of my thot cousin trying to talk to Kason.
"so how long you and my cousin been dating?"
"long enough" Kason said keeping it short
she sucked her teeth "what's with the attitude i know my cousin can't be having that good good like that" she said
"bitch get out my face before i punch you dead in ya shit" Kason said
i laughed a little before walking over wrapping my arms around him "i seen the gift you gave me thank you" i told him as i kissed his neck
"congratulations on graduating boo" my cousin said giving me a fake smile
i rolled my eyes "quit the cap you was just all up on my nigga" i told her
"girl don't nobody want your nigga anyway" she said as she looked at her fucked up nails
"mhm yeah ight get to steppin or my foot gone be on yo neck and you know how i get down" i told her
she rolled her eyes and walked off every time i would have a friend guy around or anyone that's a male she always try to get to them flirting with them it just made her look like a hoe. It was a knock at the door and my momma went to go open the door seeing it was Brie, Malik, granny, and Josiah i smiled and walked towards them.
"i'm glad y'all came" i told her as i gave her a hug
"i'm glad we made it damn it's packed up in here" Brie said
"you know how my momma get down but make y'all self at home" i told them
"attention everyone thank you all for coming out to celebrate my daughter graduation having everyone together is special to us and to her as well, seeing my little girl walk across that stage it made me tear up i remember when i find out i was pregnant i was so scared i didn't know how to take care of child, i was a child myself but we learned together we grew together. Nia baby i am so proud of you everything you do i'm proud of you never stop believing in yourself you always made sure to keep going can't nobody hold you down this is your world" my momma said
i blew her air kisses before going up right beside her hugging her
"thank you everyone for coming i truly appreciate it the Journey have been rough but i did what i had to do to get to where i needed to be, thank you to my support system everyday my siblings and my momma always kept me encouraged telling me to keep going when i felt like i wanted to give up. Thank you to my boyfriend he like my backbone through it all and thank you for my friends as well for showing me a good time through out my high school years"
i smiled at everyone that came to see me today i thought i would never finish school, even though i was doing good in school it was so draining to my body and soul i was gone drop out and be like fuck it but i kept going for myself and family, this year taught me a lot it showed me who my real friends are and who to put my all into, it also open me to new people in my life i'm glad i meet the ones that are meant for me they taught me so much and i thank them for that. i just wish Dakota was alive to see this we were on bad terms when he passed but my feelings towards him were the same i still didn't want to accept that fact that he was gone and was taking by someone close to him someone who was in his corner that woke me up, we don't have enough time in this world that's why we half to cherish every moment together, #LongLiveDakota i love you with all my heart make sure you watch over me and protect me from harms way ❤️
