Kazee's POV
Lorah was so fucking wasted after the night out. Ihinatid naman namin siya pauwi. I just waited in his car though.
They are all college students, Roemer I think is the oldest though he's only a year older than Nathan. While the two are both a year younger than Nathan. Hindi lang sila magkakapareho ng taon sa kolehiyo. Nevertheless, they looked so mature and hot and handsome except for Zach.
I yawned when we arrived at Nathan's condo. He's holding my waist to support me. I am just a little tipsy. Well to be honest I can manage but Nathan treated me like I'm so drunk!
He even opened the door of my room and carefully placed me on my bed. Ingat na ingat siya na para bang isa akong babasagin.
He removed my heels and entered my bathroom. Nang lumabas ay may dala na siyang wet wipes. Sinimulan niyang pinunasan ang mukha ko gamit iyon. It felt so cold but relaxing.
My eyelids felt heavier each second. Before I dozed off, I felt a soft kiss on my forehead.
Nagising ako nang mabigat ang katawan at masakit ang ulo. Nang lumabas ay sumalubong ang halimuyak na amoy ng kung anong linuluto ni Nathan.
He's a husband material. I won't need to worry about the cooking. I giggled at my thought.
I bit my lip as I saw the massive back of Nathan in the kitchen. Wearing only a plain gray shirt and sweatshort, his back seemed so handsome.Walang buhay akong lumapit at yinakap siya mula sa likod. I buried my face on his back.
"Good morning." I mumbled and sniffed him.
He chuckled. "Morning, sleepyhead." he replied back.
He cooked soup for my hangover and other heavy meal. Ibinaba ko ng kutsara nang may maalala.
I pouted. Agad na kumunot ang noo ni Nathan. "Does it taste bad?"
"It tastes so good."
"Then why?"
"Naalala kong may klase ka bukas." malungkot kong saad.
"Umuuwi naman ako ah?"
Umirap na lang ako at kumain ulit. I am being so clingy!
"Second sem na diba? When is your finals?"
"Next week why?"
"Then next school year, graduating ka na?"
He just nod and ate. I will never get used of being with this handsome and hot guy.
Another night passed by and it's so boring to not have Nathan all day. He's quite busy now that their finals is approaching. I somehow learned how to cook and wash clothes, kahit washing machine naman ang gamit ko at automatic pa.
It's afternoon when I received a call from Louisa.
"Ano nanaman?" bungad ko.
"Your father knew where you are! Damn! Umalis ka na diyan kung ayaw mong sumama sa kanya!"
My eyes widen. I can't even think properly. Fuck! Fuck! How did he?
"What do you mean? Dito mismo sa condong tinitirahan ko?"
"I don't fucking know! Ang sabi nila nakahanap daw sila ng lead kung nasaan ka!"
"Fuck!" I cursed.
Dali dali akong nagbihis at nag impake ng gamit. I can't call Dhelia now because she have a class! At ganoon din si Lorah. Fuck! Even Nathan will be late today!
I bit my lip trying to prevent my tears from falling. I just feel so nervous! Thinking of my angry father made me feel worse!
Bitbit ang bag pack ay nagsuot ako ng sumbrero at sunglass.
Napatigil ako nang marinig ang pagbukas ng condo. Napatingin ako sa wrist watch ko at alas tres pa lang ng hapon.
Agad na kumunot ang noo ni Nathan nang makita ako.
"Are you leaving?" His voice was cold.
"My father is looking for me. He's here in Manila." sagot ko.
"You didn't even contacted me? Kung hindi maaga ang dismissal namin, hindi ka na magpapaalam?" Tumaas nang kaunti ang boses niya ngunit bakas ang sakit.
My tears fell. Dala na ng takot, pag-aalala at lahat na. Napaupo ako at tuluyan nang umiyak. Takot na takot ako sa maaring gawin ng ama ko kapag nakita niya ako.
"H-hindi ko na a-alam ang gagawin ko. I h-have to go." I said in between of my sobs.
He sighed and hugged me. He kissed my head and helped me get up.
"Wait here. I'll just pack up my things."
Pagkatapos niyang sinabi iyon ay ginawa nga niya. After minutes of waiting, he's now holding a bag. Like me, he also wore a hat.
Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at sabay naming tinahak ang daan palabas ng gusaling tinitirhan niya.
Agad kaming dumiretso sa sasakyan niya. He manuevered the car, still his eyes on the road he looked so serious.
"Stop the car." bulong ko.
He didn't even flinch as if he's expecting me to act this way. He didn't even threw me a glance.
"I can't drag you into my mess, Nathan. You have class! May finals kayo!"
Humigpit ang hawak niya sa manibela at mas dumilim ng mukha.
"Do you think I can let you go alone? Fuck! Don't you trust me?"
"I do! But this? Masisira ka dahil sa akin!"
"Sa tingin mo may pakialam ako? Isama mo naman ako sa mga plano mo, Kaz." Nahihirapang sambit niya.
Natigilan ako sa sinabi ni Nathan. "Kasi kasama ka sa akin e." Dagdag niya.
Wala na akong nagawa kundi ang umiyak ng tuluyan. He looked so hurt but his face remained dark and serious.
"Saan tayo pupunta?"
He swallowed hard, I saw how his adams apple moved. If only we're not stuck in this kind of situation right now, I should've admired how attractive he is.
"My brother have a rest house in Batangas."
Hindi na ako umimik at nanatiling tahimik na lang. I wasn't able to think straight all throughout the long drive.
Ni hindi nga ako nakatulog sa byahe dahil sa daming bagay na bumabagabag sa isip ko. Nagdrive thru na lang kami ni Nathan para sa dinner.
Agad akong namangha sa rest house na sinabi ni Nathan. With modern design and touch of spanish details, it looked so peaceful.
Dalawang palapag ito at tama lang para sa isang pamilya. May malaking salamin din na natakpan ng blinds. Sa gilid ay maririnig mo ang paghampas ng alon sa dagat. Pansamantalang nalimutan ko ang problemang kinakaharap.
Binitbit lahat ni Nathan ang gamit, pati ang akin pero hindi niya ako pinapansin.
I just followed him as we entered the rest house of his brother. He walked around as if he's the owner.
"Madalas ka dito?" Tanong ko.
I thought he's not going to answer me but he did.
"I designed this rest house, my brother let me."
My jaw dropped. He's still an archi student yet he designed this?! Parang professional na ang may gawa!
"Baka hanapin ka ng mga magulang mo?"
"Hindi nila alam dito. Only me and my brother." He assured me.
Tinalikuran niya ako pagkatapos na ituro ang kwartong pupuntahan ko. He's so cold! He didn't even speak to me!
Gustong gusto kong magpapansin pero mamaya na lang. Maliligo muna ako bago ko siya bwisitin.
Did we just ran away? I mean is this called "pagtatanan"? I closed my eyes and tried to think rational. Kung kaya akong ipaglaban ni Nathan, bakit hindi ako? Why would I push him if I can fight with him? Kaya siguro nagalit si Nathan kanina. I tried to put myself behind his shoes. At nagawa ko namang intindihin siya. I won't give up that easily.
Tama kaya ang ginawa namin? Hindi ko alam! Basta nakapagdesisyon na ako. I will be with him.
As long he's firm of his decision, what's my reason for giving up? Kung kakapit siya, bakit bibitaw ako? Susuko lang ako kapag ayaw na niya, susuko lang ako kapag susuko siya.
Nang makabihis ay bumaba ako. Nakasandal siya sa sink habang nakatungo. He looks so serious, he didn't even notice my presence. What is he thinking?
Nang makalapit ay tsaka lang niya ako napansin. He moved his jaw and stared at me with cold eyes.
Kahit nakasandal siya ay di hamak na mas matangkad pa din siya sa akin. I hugged him so tight and buried my face on his hard chest. His manly mint scent made me feel more comfortable.
Walang nagsalita sa amin at hinayaan niya lang akong yakapin siya. His breathing was so heavy as if he's holding the heaviest problem in the world.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled.
Hindi pa rin siya umimik kaya mas hinigpitan ko ang yakap ko sa kanya. My heart beated so fast and loud.
"Sorry for pushing you away. I...will stay with you."
Doon ko lang naramdaman ang braso niyang bumalot sa katawan ko. His hug felt so warm. I feel so secured and protected. I felt like it's where I belong, in his arms.
"Please.. Don't leave me hanging." he huskily whispered.
I felt his fingers on my hair, slightly brushing it. I have known him for being so ruthless and cold but he holds me with so much passion.
A tear fell from my eye when I realized something.
"I love you." pag-amin ko sa tunay na nararamdaman.
