I'm walking down the street, alone like I do every Friday night at seven. I'm a few blocks from my house when I hear footsteps behind me, I subconsciously quicken my pace. As soon as I do the footsteps quicken as well. I move my hand to my pocket where my phone is kept when I hear the click of a gun. I immediately freeze in place as the gun is pressed into my back. I can't move as I am immobilized by the fear of death. This can't be how I die, without saying goodbye to those I love. No one will hear me scream as this part of town has been abandoned for years. Well at least I can see my mother again. No! This can't be how I die, this won't be how I die. With new found adrenaline my legs move on their own accord until I hear ear shattering sound of a gunshot. The next thing I know I'm falling to the ground, just before I hit the concrete sidewalk darkness takes over and I'm plunged into blackness.
