"It really has gotten cold. I better have Michiyo in her winter wear when we go out." Ranfa was out at the balcony taking in the clothes that were left to dry before the snow comes. It has gotten a lot colder ever since the end of the training camp. "Man, I am busy even when I am not being their temporary manager." She came back into the house and was about to close the balcony's door but Michiyo came to her holding a small bowl; Ranfa almost forgot! It's snack time for Michiyo and she's got just the thing for her! "Michiyo, do you like jelly?"
"I do!"
"Then how how about a raindrop cake?"
Michiyo was confused; she knew what a raindrop was...but to have it in the form of a cake? How does that work? In her mind, she's picturing a very soggy cake and she's not sure about it. She gave Ranfa a very confused look and she made a 'Ugh' noise.
"Hahaha! Your reaction is funny. You won't be eating from that bowl. I'll prepare the raindrop cake for you. I made it while you were napping and it should be okay to eat."
"Ah...okay."
"You'll love it, trust me."
And so Ranfa prepared the raindrop cake for Michiyo. Michiyo went to sit on her cushion and she waited for Ranfa. When Ranfa put the plate of raindrop cake in front of her, the first thing she did was wobble the plate.
"Nee-chan! It's shaking like your boobies!"
"Does it now? Oh, I also made you a smartphone cookie." Michiyo once saw a man on a video eating a cookie that looked like a smartphone and she thought the real thing must take like one. That's why Ranfa made her a smartphone shaped cookie.
"Yeah~! Now I don't need to put Nee-chan's phone in my mouth!"
Ranfa laughed at her words and she continued to do her chores. It's boring doing chores without music so she decided to hoover her room and clean it up while Michiyo's behaving herself.
"Yes~!"
"Good girl."
And so Ranfa left the living room. Michiyo realized Ranfa left her phone on the floor next to her but she decided to eat first and tell Ranfa about it later. She poked the raindrop cake and she ate it.
"Hmm~! Yummy~!"
Ah, Ranfa turned the hoover on.
Michiyo's a good girl even on her own. She's not clingy like Kotarou who needed to be with his brother at all times, she's not annnoying like Taka, and she doesn't get to mischief like one of the Mamizuka twins. She's a very good little baby sister who just go on with her day to learn and grow up.
"Maybe if I eat this cake, I will grow boobies like Nee-chan!" But there were times when she was innocently incorrect and that's alright because there's time for her to learn about right and wrong.
At some point of eating, the door to their home opened and in came a robber. He slowly closed the door behind him and put on a balaclava so the people living here will not be able to recognize him. The man could hear Ranfa doing the hoover in her room and so he avoided that room. He sneaked into the living room and he made an 'O' shape when Michiyo looked at his way. The two of them stared at one another for a good while before Michiyo turned to her plate again and continued to eat.
"The hell is wrong with this kid? Is she blind?" He walked up to Michiyo and he waved his hand in front of Michiyo's eyes to see if she was blind.
Michiyo continued to eat, not paying the robber a single attention.
"Poor kid, she is so young but she is blind and deaf. I almost feel bad for breaking in. Alright, let's see what is worth taking..."
'I don't know this man! Nee-chan...!' She looked calm on the outside but she's actually really scared! The man looked the same age as Iwaizumi and Oikawa! What will she do about him?! Should she run to get Ranfa? No, the robber will know she's not blind and use her as a hostage and may hurt Ranfa! Just like what Takuma's and Kazuma's dad did on TV when he played the role of a villain! What should Michiyo do?! 'The robber said he is taking things...' She looked to the floor next to her and she saw Ranfa's actual smartphone, on the table was a smartphone cookie...and the balcony's door was still open. 'I know!' While the robber was in another room, Michiyo got up and she took the smartphone cookie to the balcony and left it on the floor.
The robber couldn't wander into Ranfa's room and so he wandered in other rooms to swipe useful things that were worth stealing. He took Iwaizumi's watched, he took Oikawa's rings, and he took other things. His greed made him want more and more.
"Hm?" He saw Michiyo crawling around near the balcony's door.
"Achoo!" Michiyo moved out of the way and he saw something on the floor of the balcony...was that a smartphone? He's so lucky! He went to the balcony and he picked it up in the freezing downfall of the heavy snow.
"Lucky~!"
But was he really lucky? Michiyo closed the balcony door and locked him outside!
"Why you little-!" He kicked and punched at the glass door expecting it to break but he ended up hurting himself! The glass doors were shockproof and soundproof! What the heck?! He tried to use the phone he swiped- "THIS IS A FUCKING COOKIE?!" It was then he realized Michiyo was not blind and she trapped outside of the balcony with a smartphone cookie! Not only that, they're high up! There's nothing for him to climb down! "Hey! Open the door! Open the door right now-"
Michiyo closed the curtains and she decided to let Ranfa take her time to clean up. She turned on the TV so she could watch Doraemon. Oh, she should probably give someone a call. She used Ranfa's phone and she decided to speak to Siri. "Call Kamita!"
--Would you like to call Kamitani Hayato?-- Siri replied.
"Yeah~!"
Siri understood her and the call to Kamitani was connected...
Kamitani was finally nice and warm. He almost froze to death thanks to that stupid little brother of his locking him out in the cold with a phone that had lost all batteries. If it wasn't for Ryuuichi coming for him, he would have died and be remembered as a popsicle stick!
"You lock me out again and I will end your life quicker than you can cry for mommy." Kamitani warned his little brother after having a hot bath and warm ginger tea to warm up some more. His phone's on charge and he's secretly looking forward to a message or two from Ranfa. After being locked out in the balcony for what felt like a cold forever, he really wanted to see Ranfa now.
"I'm sure he is sorry, Kamitani, please don't bully him anymore." Ryuuichi said to Kamitani.
"Who taught you to lock people up anyway, you stupid brat." Kamitani wanted to know where this audacity came from.
"T-Takuma and Kazuma...and Michi..." Taka said, feeling really bad now.
"I believe the first two, but don't bring Michiyo into this, you little crap. She is not dumb like you three." Since Michiyo was Ranfa's little sister, she gets a free pass in his eyes.
Kamitani heard his phone vibrate while it's on charge. He smiled a little upon knowing it's Ranfa.
"Hello?"
--Kamita, help!--
"Michiyo? What are you doing on the phone?"
--I trapped a man!--
"Huh? Wait, what? Who did you trap?"
--I don't know!--
"Is Ranfa there?"
--Nee-chan cleaning!--
Kamitani decided he should go out and see Ranfa. He didn't understand what Michiyo meant but something must have happened if Ranfa couldn't be on the phone! "Mom, I'm going out to see Ranfa!"
"Eh? You've only just got inside- Hayato! Ryuuichi-kun, can you go along too?!" Kamitani's mother requested of Ryuuichi.
"Kamitani, wait!"
...
Ranfa came back to see Michiyo had finished her snacks. She had finished her chores and she felt so proud of herself. "Did you like the smartphone cookie?"
"Yeah! It was useful!"
"Huh? Useful in what way?" Ranfa didn't get what she meant by that. "Hm? When did I close the curtains-"
"Nee-chan, is Kamita coming?"
"Huh? Why would Hayato be here-"
"Ranfa!" Seeing that her door was broken into, he rushed in almost immediately. When he saw Ranfa, he quickly embraced her. Because he had bits of snow still stuck on him, his usually warm embrace felt cold.
"Eh? Eh??? You really came? W-why are you here? I don't understand..." Ranfa was blushing because she doesn't know why she was hugged by him.
Michiyo tugged at Kamitani's pants and when she got his attention, she went to open the curtains. The burglar was shivering so much and he had snow piling on him. His teeth were quivering because it was so cold outside.
"A burglar?!" Ryuuichi and Ranfa were both shocked! Where did this guy come from?! "I'll call the police! Ranfa-san, do not open the door!"
"He can freeze out there for all I f-"
"Children! There are children here!" Ryuuichi reminded her strongly not to use strong language here.
"For goodness sake! Fine! I'll replace all the swear words with dim sum names!" She's getting tired of being censored by Ryuuichi so she might as well get creative on how to get around the language. "He can freeze out there for all I shumai care! Maybe while he's at it, I'd chop his spring rolls off and shove it up his stuffed eggplant!"
'It's scary that I can decipher what she wants to really say!' Ryuuichi thought in the middle of a phone call to the local police department.
Kamitani then recalled what Michiyo said about trapping a man; of course she wouldn't know who the man was. He got down to Michiyo's level, "Did you do this?"
"Yeah~!"
"Hmph, good job." He went ahead and pat Michiyo on the head.
"Ehehehe~!" Michiyo loved the feeling of being praised. She's so happy she was able to protect her older sister from a burglar. Because she's always protected by Ranfa, Michiyo wanted to do the same for Ranfa...and the opportunity finally came.
Of course, explaining it to the police was a little funny. They found it hard to believe that the burglar they have been trying to capture was outsmarted by a little girl. Michiyo's bravery earned her her own police hat, a toy badge, and a bag of toys and candy.

In a sense, Michiyo did good in terms of using the locks. However, the same couldn't be said about others.
"Ah! You can't! That's bad!" Michiyo was at the daycare room and while Usaida went to the toilet, the twins locked him outside!
The Mamizuka twins learnt how to use locks and they found it hilarious to lock the adults outside the door they lock. They're having a lot of fun and a lot of laugh out of it.
"Hey, wait, what happened?" Usaida could try all he wanted, but the twins stopped Michiyo from unlocking the door. The other babies laughed with glee seeing Usaida in a pickle! "Hey, open the door- I mean, I'm begging you, the corridor is freezing."
Usaida DID manage to go back in...but the babies, excluding Michiyo and Midori, were scolded by Ryuuichi and Ranfa.
"Sit properly!" Ryuuichi angrily scolded.
"Who told you locking people outside is funny?!" Ranfa followed up.
Kamitani was watching his little brother and the other babies get scolded by Ryuuichi and Ranfa. He had Michiyo on his lap as he watched the show go on.
"Michiyo?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you for protecting Ranfa."
"It's okay~! I will do it all the time!" Michiyo happily said to him, "So you and Nee-chan both be happy!"
Kamitani patted her on the head again, "Proud of you. Someday, you will be a good wife. Don't marry my stupid brother, marry Kotarou or something like that."
"I am already planning to do that!"
"Good girl."
