"Kason where are you evening taking me?" i asked him
"don't worry about it just be ready around 9 babygirl"
today was my 18th birthday and i didn't much care for it i was still grieving the lost of Dakota and i wasn't much in the mood for a party i just wanted to be cuddle up with Kason and watch Netflix, but he said he had something plan for me so i couldn't pass up the offer even if i wanted to.
"fine i love you" i said while checking my watch seeing it was 8:25
"i love you too get dress" he said while hanging up
Nothing much as happen today my mom got me some clothes and shoes from gucci and foot locker, Noah and Niya went half on some cupcakes for me which was sweet and Brie Cash app me $100 dollars i had gotten a lot of birthday wishes on the gram but that was about it i was waiting on Kason gift cause i know he would go big for me since he likes to spoil me. "what to wear" i said out loud after checking my closet for the longest i picked out my outfit to wear. Keeping it simple i wore my two piece black skinny mini skirt with my tube top for shoes i wore my gucci slide sandals that my mom had gotten me i wore my hair down letting my curls flow
"Nia i was wondering-" Niya said while walking into my room
"damn girl you lookin good" she said as she sat on my bed
i laughed "thank you but why you ain't knock first?" i asked her
"girl we family so what? but what Kason got going for you?" she asked
"i don't know he just told me to be easy that's all i'm kinda nerves tho" i said as i finished up applying my lip gloss on
"what you mean you nerves y'all go out all the time this isn't nun new" Niya added
"i don't know i just feel like he going to go all out you know how he is" i said
"well he got love for you, how long y'all been dating again? 3 months?" she asked
"6 months will be 7 in two weeks" i told her keeping it short
"see he in love with yo ass caleb would never!" she said while falling on my bed
"now bitch you know caleb loves you don't do my friend" i told her
"i know he loves me shit he just brought me a pandora promise ring and we haven't even been together for that long" she said as she looked at the ring he gave her
"he been on you since 9th grade so the love been there this whole time you was just to blind to see it" i told her
"mhm he suppose to be coming over tonight since i haven't seen him in a while the whole Dakota thing is really bothering him" she said
"he bothering everyone but him mostly that was his cousin at the end of the day" i said
i checked my phone seeing Kason had sent a text "i'm outside come open the door" i quickly got up grabbing my purse "he must be here since you going so fast" Niya said
i sucked my teeth "get out" i told her while pushing her out the room i went downstairs opening the door to see Kason standing there holding red roses in his hand "damn ma" he said while looking up and down at me "what is it? you don't like my outfit?" i asked
"nah you look sexy as hell i'm just waiting to take you out them clothes" he said pulling me in for a hug
"Kason my momma is not gone let me stay at your place" i told him
Kason at just purchase a nice three bedroom condos two days ago he was getting fed up staying with Hakeem so he wanted his own place my mom find out and wasn't really fond of the whole spending the night at his place. He sucked his teeth "i just want you with me tonight that's all" he said while placing kisses on my neck i rolled my eyes "find i'll text her telling her i'll be over tiny house" i said while touching his hair
"bet you ready to go?" he asked me
"yeah, Niya and Noah i'm gone" i told the had i left out the house
"USE PROTECTION!!!" Niya yelled out
i laughed before closing the door fully locking it up behind me i looked up seeing Kason had bought him a new car it was a 2019 Ram 1500 it was all black with tint windows, "you got a new car?" i asked him as he open my door for me
"yup they shipped it here to me today" he said while closing my door getting in on his side i nodded my head "staying buying you some cars this up third one" i told him while plugging up my phone to the aux
"i know and i'm not done yet" he said as he started the car pulling off
i played some summer walker while we rode in the car i took some vids of us even posting a few on social media i don't usually do it but this time i said "fuck it" we pulled up to the fancy restaurant "we're here" Kason said while opening the door for me "this place is nice babe" i told him while holding his hand
"they just open a week ago i wanted to take you somewhere new" he said while kissing my forehead as we walked in i notice it wasn't no other people there just us and a hostess "good evening happy birthday mrs. Nia harris" they said with a smile on their face
"thank you" i said back
"would you please follow me" she said as she walked us to a table Kason pulled my chair out for me which i said thank you too "can i start you both off with drinks?" she asked "yes i would like pink lemonade" i said
"can i get a Pepsi" Kason said while giving me this smile "of course" she said then walked away
"bae where is everyone?" i asked out of curiosity
"i rented this place so it can just be me and you tonight" he said
"aw babe you didn't half to do that that was sweet of you" i told him
"anything for my babygirl" he said he pulled something out of his jacket pocket and slide it to my side "what's this Kason?" i asked looking at what it said on the front "tiffany & co"
"open it"
i looked at him then i decided to open the box looking at a diamond shape heart ring that looked like it cost more than 5 racks
"Kason this is amazing" i said as i looked at the ring
"Nia we been together for what it seems forever even tho it's only been months and within those months you showed me what real love is, after my last relationship that left me broken i thought i'll never love again till i laid my eyes on you at the party you was something special in my eyes everything about you screamed you're the one for me, you showed me what true love is, what loyalty is and made my trust even stronger you taught me how to love myself and how i should never quit on anything i set my mind too, you gave me life inside of me when that shit die a long time ago I'm happy i moved down here and meant the love of my life you make me a better man each day baby i love you with all my heart and hope we can continue this journey together" he said as he kissing my hand
"that was beautiful thank you for everything you do for me, before i meant you i was convicted i knew what love is i thought i had find it and that me and that person was the one for each other till he broke my heart Kason you showed me real unconditional love, you showed me what a real man is you never played in my face with these hoes you always made it known that i was the one for you, even when we was just vibin you taught me so much made me fall in love with you even more i love you with all my heart i don't see nobody else i could be with only you these niggas can't even compare to you, you're real and rare thank you for everything making my birthday and my life special baby" i said to him
we both leaned in to kiss each other the waitress came back with our drinks and we began to order "can i have chicken and shrimp pasta" i said "can i get the T bone steak with fries in the side" Kason asked "alright coming right up for you both the whole time we vibe with each other i love spending time with Kason he takes me out of this world making it feel like it it's just us two on this earth. i'm so infatuated with his mind and how he thinks in his head i love hearing about his dreams and his plans for the future he knows the game isn't forever so he tells me about his investments he wants to make everyday he surprise me with his mindset.

"Kason your condo is mad nice" i said as i look around
"it'll get better if you just stay with me" he said while wrapping his arms around me
i laugh "in about 4 four years then we can stay together" i told him as i ran up the stairs i went to his room and took off my clothes i threw on one of his t-shirts and grab one of his PSD boxer and slip them on i looked a my finger that had the big rock on it "damn he went all out for me" i said as i smiled. Kason soon came upstairs taking off his clothes
"you had a good birthday?" he asked me
"i had the best birthday in the world thanks to you" i said kissing his neck i went to go lay in his bed just watching him m change out of his clothes
"you know your graduation is in two days i know you ready" he said while getting in the bed his self
"been ready this was a crazy year i'm just ready to move on from it" i told him while snuggling up under his arms as watch some Netflix for a little bit till i heard Kason little snores i smiled than cut the tv off falling sleep right along with him.
