Aoi: "Everyone, our opponents for the second match in Holy Road has been announced! Our second opponent for the Holy Road Nationals tournament is Hakuren Jr. High!"
Shindou: "Hakuren, huh?"
Tenma: "That famous school in Hokkaido, right?"
Shinsuke: "You know them, Tenma?"
Tenma: "Yeah! Their level in offense and defense is really high, and they're known for playing fair!"
Kariya: "When did you hear about them like that? All famous schools are under Fifth Sector's control these days."

When Tenma passed the ball to Kurama, Amagi quickly got in front of him.
Amagi: "You're not shooting!"
Kurama: "I won't lose to you!"
Kurama kicked the ball up and passed Amagi. Then shot for the goal, but then it went over the goalpost!
Tenma: ! "Watch out!"
The ball was headed to hit someone but then they stopped it!
???: "Hm. That shoot had a good feeling packed into it."
Everyone went quiet for a while.
Endou: "Fubuki? It's you, isn't it!"
Fubuki: "It's been a while, everyone."
Endou and Haruna: "Yeah!"
Tenma: "Fubuki...? Eh?!"
Aoi: "This is Fubuki Shirou-san?"
Kidou: "I was worried about you. I heard you were removed from your position as Hakuren's coach and then went missing."
Endou and Haruna: "Eh?!"
Everyone turned to Fubuki and became quiet.
Kidou: "...What happened?"
Fubuki: "...Hakuren is... Hakuren has fallen into the hands of Fifth Sector."
Everyone: "Eh?!"
After everyone calmed down, Fubuki came down from the hill and sat down on the benches. Everyone went around and listen to his story.
Fubuki: "Hakuren was also trying to prove Fifth Sector's wrongdoings to soccer by winning. But... they secretly infiltrated Hakuren, and by the time I realized it, almost all the members were under Fifth Sector's command. And then I was declared to be a rebel to the Holy Emperor's cause, and forced out of Hakuren."
Tenma and Shinsuke: !
Fubuki: "But Hakuren still has players who aren't following Fifth Sector. I want to do everything I can to save them and Hakuren. Please, Team Raimon. Release Hakuren from Fifth Sector."
Fubuki stood up and bowed to the team.
Endou: "Fubuki..."

Shindou: "We'll do it. We'll win and free Hakuren at all costs!"
Fubuki: "Thank you, everyone. But..."
Kidou: "There's still something more to it, isn't there, Fubuki?"
Fubuki: "Yeah. Defeating Hakuren will be difficult for Raimon as it is right now. Unless you can break down that Absolute Barrier."
Tenma: "Absolute Barrier?"
After everyone discussed about Absolute Barrier, they came up with a new hissatsu tactic to counter it. Immediately they started practicing.
Endou: "Complete the hissatsu tactics to break past Absolute Barrier before the day of the match!"
Everyone: "Yes, sir!"
Kurumada: "Okay, bring it!"
Tsurugi: "Let's go."
Tenma: "Y-Yeah."
The whistle then blew.
Shindou: "Block them!"
Kirino: "Okay!"
Kirino, Ichino, and Shindou blocked Tsurugi but he was till able to pass it to Tenma.
Hamano: "Think you can get through?"
Shinsuke: "I'll be taking that ball, Tenma!"
Tenma: "Whoa, why such a rush?"
Then the whistle blew again, and the three of them looked back at Haruna-sensei.
Haruna: "You can't do that! You're going out of bounds!"
Tenma: "Y-Yes ma'am!"
Days pasted and everyone kept training hard.
Sangoku: "Here they come! Block them!"
Tenma: "Now!"
Tenma passed the ball to Tsurugi.
Kurumada: "You won't get past me!"
But then Tsurugi quickly passed Kurumada.
Kurumada: "What?"
Hayami started to stop Tsurugi but he passed him too.
Kurumada: "So fast!"
Tenma: "Tsurugi, go!"
Tsurugi then kicked the ball but Sangoku caught it.
Shinsuke: "That was a close one, Tsurugi. You almost had it!"
Sangoku: "No, that wasn't even close."
Tenma and Shinsuke: "Eh?"
Sangoku: "You spend too much trying to get past the defense, so you couldn't shoot from a steady position. This won't be good enough to make the goal."
Then it was break time.
Aoi: "Does everyone have their drinks? Let me know if you don't!"
Shindou: "Maintaining both speed and finishing power, huh..."
Midori: "Here you go. Drink up and refresh yourselves."
Shindou: "Oh, thanks."
Akane: "This too."
Shindou: "Eh?"
Akane: "Air mail."
Shindou: "Air mail? Ryouma... Is this from Nishiki?"
Sangoku, Kurama, Hayami, and Kurumada: "Eh?"

Shindou and Kirino turned to see Kariya, Shinsuke, Hikaru, Tenma, and Shirabe looking at them.
Tenma: "Who is it from?"
Shindou: "Here's a picture from when we first entered the club. And this is Nishiki Ryouma."
Shindou pointed to the boy with his hair tied in a blue hairband.
Shindou: "He's a striker who was in our club until last year."
Kirino: "He went to play soccer overseas in Italy when they recognized his talents."
Tenma and Shinsuke: "Play soccer overseas?!"
Aoi: "He must have been an amazing player."
Sangoku: "He had crazy kick power. I lost count of how many times his shoots got the best of me."
Hamano: "He called himself Raimon's score king."
Kurama: "Come to think of it, he was really fast too."
Amagi: "He's a hard one to keep up with."
Hayami: "He was good at keeping the ball too. Once he stole it from you, you'd never get it back."
Tenma: "Nishiki-san was really great, wasn't he?"
Hamano: "... If he were here, I wonder if we'd be able to complete this hissatsu tactics."
Shindou: "We won't get anywhere by talking about someone who's not even here. Break time's over! Let's get going, everyone!"
Tenma: "Okay! Let's get the hissatsu tactics working this time!"
