Kate's POV
I can't believe she's back. Why now?
I pulled the dagger out from Kol and went into my room
I changed into clothes that I could fight in because I know when it comes to her, there's gonna be a fight.
After I changed i took off my makeup and got some weapons from my moms room
She keeps them there Incase something like this happens
Kol still wasn't awake, I got a blood bag and put it to his mouth
"Kol? Come on wake up"
He still wouldn't wake up
I slapped him in the face and it worked
"Finally. What happened here?"
"She's back Kate. She's pissed and wants revenge on what we did to her. She took everyone else but left me here."
"Well she called me. Come on let's go"
We went to my car and drove to Calums. I needed to tell him what's going on
We walked in and I didn't hear anything
"Calum?" I asked
I walked to his room, he wasn't there
Shit.
I got out my phone to call him
"Hello?"
"Luke? Where is Calum"
"I don't know Kate. He left his phone.Why don't you stop calling"
"Luke you don't understand he's in trouble. I need to find him"
"Ok fine where are you"
"His house"
He hung up
"How did she even get past you and Klaus?" I asked Kol
"She snuck up behind us and snapped Klaus' neck and daggered me. I got distracted Kate, I'm sorry. I could've stopped it"
"Yeah you could've. But if you tried then she probably would've done something worse. I'm glad your okay"
He smiled at me
The thing about her is that she isn't a normal vampire. She was the first one Klaus turned. They were in love. Well I guess you could say he was in love and she just used him to be immortal. After he turned her, she took off. Until she finally came back in 1952, Klaus didn't want anything to do with her but she kept trying to nudge her way back into his life. After he finally gave in Kol came to my family asking for help to get rid of her. she was my best friend but she always brings out the worst in Klaus so when they were together they would go on murder sprees killing many innocent people. Kol telling us to stop them was a surprise considering he does the same. He knew Klaus didn't like it and he was just doing it so she would stay. The witches who helped us made sure she would never be able to harm anyone again, so we desiccated her. I guess someone found her And woke her up. Now she wants revenge. Kol said she's been watching us for months now, so she knew about the whole 'cheating' thing and is trying to use it against me. she wants things to go back to how they were, me and her being best friends, and Klaus willing to kill for her.
I just hope Calum is okay
A few minutes later Luke and Michael walked in
"Before we do this just know, we are only helping you to save Calum because of the connection you have with him. It doesn't change anything" Luke said
"I promise after this is over. I'll leave and never come back Luke. I just want him to be safe"
They nodded
"Ok Kate, you need to focus on Calum, think about him, what he makes you feel, what the last thing he said to you was" Kol said as I sat on the couch closing my eyes
I thought about him. He hates me because he thinks I cheated on him. Maybe I deserve to just leave and never be able to see him again
As I was thinking I heard voices
"Oh poor thing" a woman's voice spoke
"I just don't understand why she would do that to me. We are imprinted, she shouldn't cheat" I heard Calum say
I heard drinks clinking, music, and smelled the alcoholic drinks
"She's with him. They're at the bar" I said getting up
Kol and I took my car while Luke and Michael took theirs
after we got there Kol took my car to look for my family, thinking that she had them at her old house
We got to the bar and walked in
I immediately saw Calum and that bitch.
I walked over to them with Luke and Michael behind me.
"Calum" Luke said stepping in front of me
"Heyyy Luke this is-" Calum started to speak before I talked
"We know who she is Calum. Come with us"
"No no no, I don't think he wants to talk to you Kate. You know he's heart broken right now. Considering you cheated" she said getting up
I felt my anger getting stronger
I punched her in the face
"Damn" Michael said
She slapped me
She pinned me down and tried to hit me again
I rolled us over so I was on top. Luke and Michael were clearing everyone out compelling them
I was hitting her when she pulled out a stake
She stood up and pinned me against the wall
"Bye bye little girl" she said as she tried to stake me
I had her wrist in my hand pushing her back
I snapped her wrist and grabbed the stake. She fixed her wrist and came at me
I tried to stake her but she's stronger than me
Michael punched her and I got on top of her. She was still fighting me. Then she got up and snapped lukes neck and broke a alcohol bottle and stabbed Michael in the neck
I was on the floor trying to find the stake when she came over to me with a mop stick in her hand
She broke it in half and pushed it in my throat
"Any last words?"
"I should've killed you when I had the chance" I spat struggling
"Yes you should've but before I kill you" she started as she plunged it into my hand
She walked over to Calum and held him by the throat chocking him and brought him over to me
"Maybe I should kill him in front of you" she said holding up a knife
"No please I'll do anything. Just don't hurt him" I begged
She thought for a moment
"I'll let him go and your family, if you come with me. Old friend"
"Why would I do that?"
"Ok then" she said pulling back the knife about to kill Calum
"Wait!"
"I'll do it" I said
"Just let me say goodbye first" she dropped Calum and he was trying to recover
"You have 2 minutes" she said as she walked outside
I pulled the wood out of my hand
I went over to Calum hugging him
He pulled away with tears in his eyes
"Calum look. I'm so sorry that this happened. I'm sorry that everything happened." I said looking down
"I'm sorry too. For thinking you would sleep with Kol after he called you that" He said looking at me
"But you can't leave with her."
"I have to Cal, it's the only way to make sure you and my family are okay" I said looking at him
He leaned in and kissed me
We stayed like that for a few seconds until she walked in
"Ready bestie? Oh and don't worry about trying to find her with your 'imprint' link. I'm having a witch remove it as we speak"
I looked at Calum
"Close your eyes"
"No Kate please don't go" he said crying
"Close your eyes Cal"
He closed them
I kissed his cheek and then vamped away with her
I can't believe I just did that.
I can't believe I have to be her slave for the rest of my life.
