"One more time! One more... don't give up, Niko!" You yelled to your beloved sister.

"Right... one more... dammit, why won't you just die, you maggot?!" Niko yelled as you both ran towards Muzan for the 3rd time.

"You have no hope in defeating me at this point!" Muzan laughed.

"That's where... you're wrong... because we've been holding back.." you said, your voice slowly dying out.

"All you've been doing is shouting at each other. Where does that get you?"

"Niko, it's time! I... can't.. take it... anymore!" You sighed.

"... Okay, but I was having fun!" She whined, drawing more blood.

You groaned as you dug your sword into your flesh again.

"Here~ Come on, Muzan!" She taunted.

You rolled your eyes as she stuck her tounge out.

That seemed to be his last and final straw because his monster, that he hadn't used, lunged at her and caught a hold of your haori instead of your sister.

"D-dammit!" You cursed as it rose up and grabbed your waist.

You grabbed your sword and sliced it off of you.

"Niko...! This is... your idea! We can't... have frickn'... help!" You cried.

You landed on the ground, panting.

"I'm sorry!" She apologized.

"Let's get real now!" She smiled, fearing to actually start the procedure.

"Do you think they're going to live?"

"They have to. Well, (Y/N) has to."

"What about Niko?"

"I guess she could live, but I highly doubt it. There's the slimmest possibility of her living. Maybe a 12%."

"Why is it so low?"

"What? I don't make up the rules."

"You're so mean, Jun. What do you have against my older sister?"

Jun rolled his eyes at the boy.

"You wouldn't understand, Haru. You've never fallen in love before."

Haru smiled.

"I died when I was 8. Of course I didn't fall in love."

"Ah-ah-ah. I met (Y/N)-Chan when we were 5 and I confessed when we were 10. I fell in love with her after I got to know her," Jun smiled, shaking his finger.

"Then we all died. Hurray, of course I fell in love right after," Haru rolled his eyes as his sentence heaved with sarcasm.

"Hehe~"

"Don't 'hehe' me!"

You were left panting on the ground, exhausted.

"(Y/N), please let us help!" Giyuu yelled as he watched your sister fall.

"We were... so... close...!" You groaned, pushing yourself up.

"(Y/N), let us fight, dammit!" Sanemi yelled as he saw you stagger upward.

"No... you're all... going to die..." you huffed.

Muzan's arm was regenerating so slow, it was only halfway.

"Ten minutes until dawn! Keep it up, (Y/N)-San, Niko-San!" A crow cawed.

"Please... Niko, end it! We need... to end it...!" You cried.

"Let me... use my... Technique!"

She leaned on the wall for support as she nodded in agreement.

"Okay... okay, let's do it-"

But before she could finish, you watched as she was picked up by Muzan.

"You're not going to... make it passed dawn... I'm afraid," he said as the monster moved her closer to him.

"I'm going to absorb you and then I can kill... (Y/N)!!"

You tried to shout in protest, but your lungs and vocal cords denied access.

You helplessly watched as she was slowly absorbed in to Muzan.

"N... Niko!" You cried one last time.

She turned as best as she could, already halfway gone.

"Thank you for bringing me this far... (Y/N)-Chan. I love you."

With one last goodbye, she smiled and finally used her Blood Demon Art.

Blood Demon Art, Forever Burning Within

Muzan swallowed her up, but the sudden burning in his body made him regret it.

You reached out to the air, not able to breath as something died within you.

"(Y/N)!!" Someone shouted.

You ignored them, too busy grieving.

"(Y/N), snap out of it!" They yelled picking you up.

You were unable to communicate, for your vocal cords were completely wrecked, or as it felt like. They were screaming. They felt like they were on fire.

Tears blurred your vision, but so sound came out of your mouth.

You pushed the person away from you, wiping away your tears.

"Muzan... you're going to pay for every sin you've made!" You screamed, running at him.

Blood Demon Art, Ashes of the Disoriented Memories

You felt all the rage unleash in your flames as you hugged Muzan, feeling the first rays of the sun come out.

"We're going down together!" You cried, hugging him tighter.

Your once sweet, angelic voice was now crumpled and hoarse.

Don't let go. Keep hanging on... stay in there.

Muzan tried to push you back, but he only cut your shoulder.

You felt someone else help you as they stabbed their sword into Muzan's side.

You turned your head and saw Tanjirou and Giyuu helping each other out.

Their blade quickly turned red, making Muzan cough up blood.

The sun rose slowly, burning off half of his face.

Your arms that were wrapped around him, securing him, were also slowly dying.

Suddenly, Muzan took a new form and shoved you backward, leaving Tanjirou and Giyuu.

It honestly looked like a bloated baby.

Giyuu soon got shoved back while Tanjirou was getting sucked in.

"Tanjirou!" The Male called to him.

You caught him before he crashed into a wall, and you both watched Tanjirou disappear inside of it.

"Tanjirou, no!" You yelled.

The demon started burning, causing it to run around on all fours.

"(Y/N), what do we do?!" Giyuu asked you as he grabbed your arm.

You were hyperventilating, but somehow managed to calm down.

Soon, you wouldn't be able to talk if you kept on screaming so you pointed up to where the lower ranks were pushing down a large bookcase.

It crashed on top of him, pushing it down.

More and more kept coming, like vehicles and trains.

"Stand firm no matter what!! The Hashira can't fight anymore!" They yelled as they pushed the train on to the demon.

You looked at Giyuu, hope still burning in your eyes.

"(Y-Y/N)?" He called out to you as you ran away.

I can still fight. No one else but me... everything depends on you, (Y/N). Come on...

Wind Breathing, Ninth Form: Idaten Typhoon!!

Sanemi jumped in just as Muzan was about to hit the train, cutting off his arm.

"What a tough bastard! Hurry up and die, you piece of crap!" Sanemi yelled.

"Uh-oh! He's climbing over!!"
"Oh n-no! W-what should we do?!"

A chain suddenly strapped around the demon's neck, pulling it back.

Gyomei was refraining it from moving with his long chain.

It fell back onto the ground, whailing as it did so. It flipped over to its stomach and started digging into the ground.

"He's trying to dig underground! Attack and whittle away Muzan's strength!!" Gyomei yelled as you bent down to help Sanemi.

"I'm going... to help..." you whispered, standing up.

Water Breathing, Tenth Form: Constant Flux!
Phoenix's Fire, Fifth Form: Overheated!!
Wind Breathing, Fifth Form: Cold Mountain Wind!
Serpent Breathing, Fourth Fofm: Twin-Headed Reptile!

The four of you attacked the demon as quickly as you could, doing not enough damage.

Muzan spat out blood as he sat up and stared burning even more.

"Why don't... you just fucking die!!" You yelled one last time and jumped at him.

Blood Demon Art, Ashes of the Disoriented Memories!!

Your arms lit on fire and you blasted him with the help of the sun's rays.

It slowly disappeared, making you stop and watch.

Everyone's mouth was agape was it was completely gone.

Everyone started celebrating, crying as they said that they finally killed Muzan, but something in your heart said otherwise.

You stood there, staring off into space.

"We're not... done..." you whispered, hoping someone would hear you.

"Something... Tanjirou... is alive..." you said, trying to be louder.

They were too busy attending to the wounded, not hearing your soft warnings.

You felt everyone slowly die within your heart, one by one.

"No, no... don't die yet... we're not finished...!" You cried, grabbing your sword as you limped over to it.

You slowly felt yourself return to your human form.

Your (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes were back to normal. The strength coursing through your veins slowly died out.

You saw Tanjirou kneeling down as his left arm was totally gone.

You limped over to him, seeing the people crying.

"Please..." you called to them.

They all looked over to your beautiful face, wondering how you were still intact with no major injuries.

Giyuu walked up as his tears spilled.

"Giyuu..." you called as you stood behind Tanjirou.

He fell to his knees as his forehead touched the boy's.

"I've failed to protect you again. I always receive protection from others. Forgive me. I'm sorry.... Nezuko. I'm so sorry," he said, crying softly.

You saw Nezuko running up to you guys, and you felt something inside of you.

It was... anger. The anger that no one would listen to you. The anger that they thought Tanjirou had died. That they'd thought they'd failed.

"Why won't anyone... listen to what I have to say?!" You snapped, earning everyone's attention.

"Tanjirou.. isn't dead, you idiots! Muzan... didn't kill.. him!" You said, shaking in realization at what he had done.

"No... he didn't kill Tanjirou... he-"

And just then, Tanjirou's eyes snapped open and his left arm had grown back.

"Watch... out!" You cried, jumping on the assistant.

Tanjirou's arm flicked around and sliced your back, making blood splatter everywhere.

"(Y-Y/N)-Sama-"

"Get out... get out of here, all of you!" You cried as tears escaped.

You pushed her away and turned to Tanjirou, shaking as if an earthquake was starting.

Just as Tanjirou swiped his other arm at the other assistant, Giyuu yelled something.

"Get back!"

He never ended up hitting him because he covered his eyes from the new burns.

"Don't just stand there!! Get away!"

"But Tanjirou is-"

"Anyone who is still able to fight... grab a weapon and group up!! Tanjirou has become a demon! We have to keep him under the sun and burn him to death! Kill Tanjirou before he kills anyone!" Giyuu yelled.

"Nothing ended up... the way... I was told as a child..." you said.

"I was... suppost to die... while fighting Muzan... how am I... still alive...?" You mumbled.

As Tanjirou jumped away, Giyuu ran up to him and stabbed his side.

He looked back and the burning had stopped.

You had no time to yell, just to move.

You ran up to Giyuu and pulled him off just in time.

Tanjirou swung at the air, missing as you both landed on the ground.

"What're you doing?!" Inosuke yelled.

You pulled Giyuu closer to see if he was alright.

"I'm... okay..!" He said to you, trying to get up.

"This is the half-and-half haori guy! He's our ally! And (Y/N) too!!"

"Tanjirou!" Zenitsu yelled from afar.

Tanjirou got up and wiped away his blood from his mouth.

You stood up with Giyuu and stood in front of him.

"No way... Tanjirou? No one can fight anymore. We're all beat up! This is awful. What about Nezuko... Tanjirou?" Zenitsu said.

"Please... I don't want to kill you...!" You pleaded as tears spilled like waterfalls.

He froze as he saw you cry.

"Tanjirou... you're not supposed to die! I... am!" You cried.

He shook as he watched you cry.

"Please... stop!" You yelled, running at him, blade in hand.

He jumped away, running towards Giyuu and Inosuke.

"Stop, Tanjirou!" Zenitsu yelled.

Inosuke tried to cut off his head, but you knew that no one had the courage to.

"Inosuke!" You cried his name, running as fast as you could.

Then, instead of hitting Inosuke, he had spilled his sister's blood.

"My dear brother! I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I didn't understand for so long. I put everything on your shoulders. Why is it you who always has to suffer? Why do kind people who struggle every day... get trampled over and over? It's frustrating, but don't give in! It's almost over... so don't turn into a demon. Let's go... home. Let's go back home," Nezuko said as she hugged her brother.

Tanjirou let out a scream of frustration as his nail dug into his sister's back.

"No, Tanjirou! It's Nezuko! She's back to normal! She's human again! Don't do this! She'll die! She called you 'brother', right?!" Zenitsu cried as he hugged Tanjirou from the side.

"Knock it off! Just shut up already! Don't hurt Nezuko! You're... you're not that kind if guy! You were so nice! So go back to being the usual Tanjirou! Apologize to (Y/N)!!" Inosuke yelled, hitting him on the head.

Tanjirou blew all of us away, except of Nezuko, who was holding on.

Bones had sprouted from his back, growling at us.

"Don't give in, Tanjirou! Please, Nii-Chan!"

The bones headed towards Zenitsu, who was on the floor, but Giyuu saved him.

Water Breathing, Fourth Form: Striking Tide!!

"Tanjirou... I'll never... forgive you.. for this.." you whispered.

You cut your arm open, earning Tanjirou's attention.

"Please, refrain from hurting your sister..." you sighed, locking up your blood.

Because it really wasn't Muzan, you only turned halfway.

Half of your hair was white and your other eye was red.

"Please, don't do this!" You cried, running towards him.

You pulled something out of your pocket.

"(Y/N)-Chan. Since you know about the potion, do you want one just in case something happens?" Shinobu asked you as you watched over her shoulder.

"Me? Why? I don't need one. Give it to Tanjirou or something."

She smiled as she put it in your hand.

"As I said, just in case."

You looked at it. It was in a light, wooden box.

"Why me? Do you think something's gonna happen?" You tilted your head.

She chuckled.

"I noticed that you've been encountering a lot of demons. Lower and Upper Moons. I just think if you're going to keep running into one, you're bound to need one, right?"

You nodded, smiling.

"Alright! Thanks, Shinobu! I'll keep it!"

She turned around before you left.

"I think you should use it on your sister that you talked about. She's a demon, so it should work."

Your eyes widened in hope.

"You're right! Thanks, Shinobu! You're a life saver! I don't know how I could ever repay you!" You beamed.

She just smiled and shook her head.

"No need. You being here with me is enough."

You laughed and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"Very funny! I promise, once we kill Muzan, I'll get you something you'd never imagine~"

You both shared a laugh before you left with the medicine.

"Good luck, (Y/N)-Chan."

You ran as fast as you could, pulling it out.

You felt Tanjirou slice your arm, but you didn't care and injected it into his neck.

"Tanjirou, we won... Please, come back to us...! You mustn't make Nezuko cry," you smiled as you saw his eyes widen.

"(Y/N)-Chan!" Nezuko said as her head turned to look at you, who had blood pouring out of your arm.

"Please... don't you wanna see Nezuko get married and have children? Don't you wanna see her grow up to a beautiful lady? How will you be able to see when you're like this?" You asked as your voice was still somehow soothing, dispite the fact that your throat was dying.

Tanjirou fell to the floor with Nezuko, his eyes closed.

Your demon form disappeared, along with Tanjirou's wound on his eye.

You shook in happiness.

"We... finally did it..." you said, watching everyone run to Tanjirou and circle him.

He slowly opened his eyes, seeing Nezuko first.

"Tanjirou!" She cried.

You walked out of the circle into empty room.

"I'm sorry... you're injured.. are you all right?" Tanjirou asked as he started crying.

"He's back! Tanjirou!" Some celebrated, some cried.

"You couldn't do anything... to hurt me.. that bad!" Inosuke said, crying.

"I will make him pay his whole life for what he did to me... and to you too, my wife," Zenitsu said to you, who was slowly going in and out of it.

"(Y/N)-Sama... are you alright?" Someone asked you, looking worried.

Everyone looked at you, crying.

You fell to your knees, holding your sword close to your body.

"We did it... we finally did it!" You cried.

"Nii-Chan... we did it! We killed Muzan! Forever!" You sobbed happily.

"You did it, (Y/N)-Chan. Good job."

A soft, cool breeze swept passed you, enveloping you with cool air.

"Go to sleep now. You earned it."

Your vision slowly started being welcomed into darkness as voices cried out your name.

| Three months later |

"Thank you for coming. This is the final Hashira meeting. Sanemi. (Y/N). Giyuu."

You smiled as you sat in between the two males.

"You are the only surviving Hashira that had fought Muzan and survived... and many rank-and-file corps members died. However, we successfully eradicated the demons. Thus, the Demon Slayer Corps disbands today."

"Understood," Sanemi and Giyuu said as you just nodded.

"For many years, fighters such as yourselves risked your lives.." one of the sisters began.

"And fought bravely to save the people of the world..." the other continued.

"Everyone in the Ubuyashiki family... extends their heartfelt gratitude," they all finish, bowing.

"Please, don't bow!!" Giyuu said.

"We don't need any thanks!" Sanemi agreed.

Unfortunately, you couldn't say much so you just nodded along.

"What held the Demon Slayer Corps together... was the Ubuyashiki family!" Sanemi said.

"Kiriya, you were awesome at your job... so your father and all your ancestors... must be very proud," Giyuu stated, making the boy cry.

"Thank you very much!"

The girls smiled sadly as they nodded to each other.

"We still have one more thing for (Y/N)-San."

Your eyes widened.

"Ah- you don't... have to give... me anything..!" You waved your hands.

"Please. We insist."

The other girl nodded as she helped her brother wipe his tears away.

"After all, it's your sister's last request."

You stopped, feeling a lump in your throat.

"Kiriya, please, give it to her now," they both said.

The boy stopped crying as he handed you something wrapped in a dull indigo cloth.

"What... is it?" You asked, hesitantly taking it.

They all smiled at you, not answering.

You unfolded it and inside was a folded paper and a beautiful flower hairpin.

"When did... she have.. this?" You gasped.

Giyuu and Sanemi watched as you unfolded the paper.

'Dear (Y/N),

You'd better be alive when reading this. I wasted my own life for this, I'll have you know! I knew I was going to die, even if you were or weren't there to save me. Don't miss me too much! I got you this hairpin that I had. Don't you remember it? Mother gave it to me when we were young. She told me to pass it down to my children so when they'd become a Hunter, they'll remember us. But since I know I was going to die, I'm giving it to you. I know you'd probably be disbanded by the time you get this, so think of it as a charm. Oh, and whoever your boyfriend is, tell them I want my nieces and nephews quick. Anyway, I love you, and don't you forget that! Please, if you really do end up reading this, please tell Ubuyashiki thank you for me. And everyone else. When I was helping the wounded, I realized all the good humans did, but I'd just kill them. I'm sorry you had to suffer. You're such a good person and you don't deserve any of that. I love you.

P.S: My last request for you is that I want you to live a happy life. Please and thank you~
                                                                                                                                                           -Niko

You smiled as tears streamed down your face.

"You idiot..." you wiped your eyes.

"I love you too..."

You looked at Kiriya and hugged him, catching the boy off-guard.

"Thank you, Kiriya-Sama! I'm sorry.... you lost... your family... at such a young... age. Please.. know... that I'm here..." you sobbed.

The boy started crying again and hugged you back.

After everything went down, you were left standing on beside a grave by yourself at night.

"Thank.. you..." you said, bending down to drop the flowers.

"I wish I got... to spend more time... with you, Nii-Chan. Sorry... you had to die... like that..." you sat on the ground looking at the grave sadly.

"I wish... I could sing... to you. But... I can't... my voice... is barely... there."

You looked up at moon.

"It sure... is pretty, right?"

Silence greeted you.

"I hope... you're doing okay... on your own... up there. It must be... nice... escaping to the moon."

"I'm okay. I have everyone with me. Jun, Haru, mom, dad, your friends that died. You have fun down there."

You smiled as you stood up.

I'll go visit Rengoku and Muichirou now. Good night.

You turned around and started walking towards where the two were staying.

Opening the door, you were greeted with their laughter.

"Hey... you two."

They both looked at you.

"(Y/N)-Chan! How are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while! You haven't visited me!" Rengoku smiled.

"Sorry... I was... busy. I'll visit... you a lot... now," you smiled.

"Are you okay?" Muichirou asked you as you sat down on a chair.

"My vocal cords... aren't. I'm okay overall... though. Thank you," you smiled.

"Fighting Muzan sure was hard, wasn't it? Who did we lose? We haven't gotten any information yet," Rengoku said.

"It... was. I, myself... don't know who we lost... but..."

You smiled as you looked out the window.

"I know we lost.... my sister."

They looked at you sadly.

"I'm sorry-"

"Don't apologize... for something you didn't do. Please.." you smiled, getting up.

"Because in the end... I'd end up forgiving you all..."

You started walking to the door.

"But I don't want to forgive you all anymore."

Their eyes widened.

"How can I forgive... when you all make me worried?" You grinned wider.

"You're going to have... to earn my trust.. back!"

And with that, you left, walking to your room with determination burning within your body.
