Sakura POV

There was just a couple of days left until the Sports Festival. I've been training usually by myself or with Izuku. Even though I had strong feelings about the Sports Festival, I still trained my hardest so I wouldn't embarrass myself. Besides, this was my chance to get a pro hero to notice me and get me a internship at their agency.

At school, I would hang with Izuku, Uraraka, and Iida. I had gotten really close with those three, especially Uraraka. Whenever we had to change in the locker rooms for training, she would always stand in front of me so no one would notice my scars. She never asked about them, as she knew I was self conscious about it. She really was a angel from heaven.

As for Todoroki, I haven't talked to him since our last conversation. He didn't walk with me on the way home or to school. And whenever we would ended running into each other, he would just quickly turn away before I could even say anything to him.

Maybe I had scared him away by telling the truth about me. I wouldn't blame him. But, I felt lonelier than ever before. I missed my friend.

And that feeling didn't help with the big ball of stress building up inside of me. I would pour out my anger during training, but a lot of times I would overdo it. Like one time during school training, I accidentally almost scorched Aizawa when using my elemental quirk. I had to run extra miles for that one.

No matter how long and hard I trained, the anger was still there, rising up. I needed to find a way to release it before I would do something I regret.

So after school, I decided to go train at one of the dojo's in town. I quickly ran home, changed into some leggings and a tank top, grabbed my gym bag and headed for the dojo. I thought destroying some dummies would help relieve my stress.

I entered the building and went up to the man at the counter. As I was pulling out money for the man, he noticed my U.A. ID.

"Oh, you're a U.A. student?"

I just hummed a response, not wanting to make conversation.

The man smiled. "There's also been a U.A. student coming here everyday training for the Sports Festival." He then smiled nervously. "Although, he does destroy a lot of our equipment during his exercises."

I just nodded and thanked the man before grabbing my room key.

As I walked through the hallway to find my room, I heard a familiar phrase.

"DIEEEE!"

I froze. 'I know that scream from anywhere.' I started to follow the sound of explosions until I reached his room. I opened the door to reveal a very sweaty, yet scary face.

He was destroying all the dummies as if they were made out of paper. His movements were fast and swift. I couldn't help but admire how impressive his close combat skills were.

When the timer buzzed and I saw that he had destroyed all the targets, I clapped. "Not bad, sparky."

He quickly turned his head to the door. He wiped the sweat off his face, "What the hell are you doing here, small fry?"

I frowned. 'Small fry? That's new.' "I came here to train, obviously" I replied as I walked inside and closed the door. "And how the hell am I a small fry?"

He smirked. "It's because you're so damn small, obviously."

I rolled my eyes. I dropped my bag next to his. And I sat down to stretch.

"Oi! What do you think you're doing?"

I straightened my legs and reached for them. "What do you think? I'm here to train with you," I replied as I put my head down on my knees with ease. I always stretched before and after training. This made me improve my flexibility a lot.

"I thought you would be training with that IcyHot bastard," Bakugo spat. "Aren't you guys dating or something?"

I felt a sharp pain in my heart. 'Ah, now that one actually hurt.' I just ignored him as I stretched even farther, ignoring the pain in my back.

Bakugo replied with a 'tch' sound which I realized he tends to do that a lot. I stood up and slowly spread my legs till I did a full splits. I reached for my right leg, when I realized that Bakugo was staring. "What?"

He quickly looked away. "H-how the hell are you so flexible?"

I shrugged as I reached for the other leg. "A lot of practice. I used to do a lot of yoga to help me relieve any anger or stress," I replied. I cringed from how painful yoga classes were. I never really understood the whole inner peace thing.

"HA you?! Anger? Yeah right," Bakugo scoffed.

"You'd be surprised," I warned. I stood up and brushed myself off. "Okay, ready to get your ass beat?"

Bakugo smirked, "Don't come crying to me when you get hurt."

I laughed. Bakugo wasn't as bad as I thought. Also, I know he was really good with close to close combat, so that's always a plus. I walked over and stood in front of him and raised my fists. "Okay, let's do some good old sparring. With no quirks."

Bakugo clicked his tongue. "Whatever." He got into his fighting stance.

As predicted, he threw the first punch. I dodged sideways to avoid it and grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back. He was trapped, his back facing me. "So predictable," I whispered in his ear.

He snarled. Before he could throw a punch, I pushed him forward and caused him to stumble. I raised my hand and motioned him to come at me. He then sprinted at me with his right arm raised. The motion was in slow motion in my eyes. I saw my chance and moved slightly to the left and grabbed his punching arm and wrapped an arm under his stomach and flipped him on his back, with me on top of him, pinning him down.

We were both panting for air. I smirked, "Still think I'm a small fry now?"

He looked at me weirdly and I saw he was blushing. Then I realized it. Our faces were so close to each other. I immediately got up tried to hide my flushed face. I looked over and saw him doing the same. I put my hand out for him to take. "Tch," is all he said but he took it.

"How do you move so fast like that?" He asked while he cleared his throat.

"Lots of practice. And stretching. My flexibility allows me to move any way I choose to," I said. Then I turned to him and smiled. "Besides, it's fun beating up on people. Especially guys."

He rolled his eyes but he put his hands up again. "Come on small fry. Again."

"Stop calling me that," I muttered before I ran to him to attack him.

Bakugo and I trained for hours like this with no breaks. He had managed to land some good punches on me and he didn't hold back on his hits which was fine. I didn't even feel the pain. I didn't feel anything.

He swung his arm and I barely dodged it. Then, I elbowed his back and I trapped him my embrace again. But before I can flip him over, he sent a punch to my stomach and I went flying back. I felt a burning hot sensation on my stomach. I let out a painful groan and saw that Bakugo was standing there with wide eyes. His hand had smoke coming from it. He accidentally used his quirk.

"Shit! Are you okay?!" He came running over to me. When he stood over me, I rolled over on my stomach and swung my legs under him, causing him to fall on his back.

"Never... let.... your.... guard.... down," I was out of breath.

"You little shit! I was trying to help you!" Bakugo groaned as he sat up.

"Yeah well, I didn't need your help," I winced from the pain from my stomach.

Bakugo noticed and got up. I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me and lift me up. "Thanks," I muttered. I winced again as I stood up straight.

"Let me see," Bakugo grumbled.

"W-what? N-no! It's fine," I stuttered. The wound was in my lower stomach area, meaning he would see my scars if I showed him.

Bakugo glared at me. "Just stop being such a fucking girl! Let me see! I know I hit you pretty hard!"

I didn't know what to do. I know Bakugo wasn't going to let this go. I sighed. I slowly lifted my shirt up as my hands were shaking.

Bakugo sucked in his breath. I looked down to see the injury. It wasn't bad. There was a huge blue-purple bruise on my abdomen. But that wasn't what was ugly. It was my scars. The huge cut lines that ran through my entire stomach.

I looked back at Bakugo. He was staring at my scars with a grim expression. "W-hat happened to you?" he asked in a low voice.

"It was an accident from a long time ago, okay? Just drop it," I hissed.

"Sakura, did someone fucking do this to you?" I ignored him and looked away. He then grabbed both my arms and made me face him. "Oi! Answer me! Who fucking did this to you?!" He was now yelling at the top of his lungs.

I stared at him in shock. My arms were now trembling. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't tell him.

Bakugo must have noticed I was trembling because his expression softened. But, he was still glaring at me with his eyes. "I-I it was a long time ago," I whispered. "I don't want to talk about it, so please don't ask me," I pleaded as I looked away.

Then, I felt his strong grip on my arms loosen. I looked up and saw him walking over to his bag. He was muttering as he was searching through his bag. He pulled out a roll of tape and glared at me. "Well? What are you doing just standing there idiot?! Sit down!"

I slowly made my way over to the chair he was standing next to. He helped me sit down. He was still glaring at me. "Lift up your shirt," he grumbled.

I looked at him blankly. "So I can tape it up idiot," he rolled his eyes.

"R-right," I stammered. 'God this is so awkward.' I lifted up my shirt just enough where he can tape my stomach. As he was wrapping my stomach I studied his eyes. They were crimson red, similar to mine when my quirk is activated, but I noticed they had a soft glow in the orbs. His expression was now more relaxed, as he was carefully bandaging my injury. I realized that Bakugo was actually really good looking, when he wasn't looking like a angry hedgehog.

"What the fuck are you looking at, small fry," he grumbled, shaking me out of my thoughts.

I reached my hand to his hair. Surprisingly, it was soft. He looked at me, clearly bewildered by my action. "W-what the h-hell are you doing?"

I smirked playfully. "Your hair is surprisingly not like like a hedgehog's," I teased as I ran through my fingers through his poofy hair.

"Hah?" He had looked so confused by my comment.

I burst out laughing, ignoring the pain in my stomach. "Oh! You should have seen your face Bakugo!"

"SHUT THE HELL UP, SMALL FRY!" I swear his voice volume could shake the entire building.

After he finished bandaging my stomach, I thanked him.

"Tch, whatever," he frowned. He turned away and sat on the floor, straightening his legs in front of him. He was trying to reach his toes, but he was failing, miserably.

"A-re you you trying to touch your toes?," I asked, stifling a laugh. It was such a odd sight, seeing Bakugo trying to stretch.

"Sh-shut up!" His face turned super red. I chuckled walked over to where he was sitting. I stood behind his back. I put my hands on his stiff shoulders.

"H-hey, Wh-what the hell do you think you're doing?"

I rolled my eyes, "Just trust me and relax, your body is way too stiff." I felt his shoulders loosen a little. "Okay now, I want you to take a deep breath in." As I heard him breathe in, I pushed his back forward, "Okay, now breathe out slowly, focus on your heartbeat," I said softly.

As he exhaled out, I pushed his body slightly further. I was surprised how flexible he was. His body was just too stiff all the time because of his goddamn temper. "See? It's possible for even like a hothead like you," I joked.

"Shut up," he muttered through clenched teeth.

I helped him stretch for a couple more minutes. It was so odd, seeing Bakugo's face relaxed as he took deep breaths during the stretches.

After we were done, I plopped down next to him. I was feeling the tiredness getting to my muscles now. I don't know if it was from the training or trying to deal with Bakugo's temper tantrums.

I laid down on my back and closed my eyes, enjoying the comforting silence and the coldness from the floor.

Then I heard a raspy voice speak up, "Why did you train with me?"

I opened my eyes and saw Bakugo looking down on me curiously.

I raised my eyebrows. "What do you mean? I thought you would be a good training partner," I replied bluntly.

He rolled his eyes. "That's not what I mean, idiot," he muttered.

I sat up and rested my arms behind my back and waited for him to explain. He sighed, "What I mean is, how are you not scared of me? Most of the extras in our class avoid me because they think I'm scary," he wouldn't meet my eyes.

I pulled my knees to my chest. I never found Bakugo scary. Actually, I found his presence somewhat comfortable. "I don't know, really. I think it's because both you and I are are pretty similar in some way," I explained. "We are both filled with anger."

Bakugo turned his head with raised eyebrows. "You don't seem angry, you're always calm and relaxed. Even in training or at that time at USJ," he said.

I shrugged. "I just have a better way of hiding it." This was true. I was always angry inside. I was angry about what happened to my parents. To me. Deep inside, I wanted revenge. I wanted to kill the man who took everything away from me with my own hands. And lately, my angry has doubled. I was furious that I had used my One for All, even if it was to save the man who I loved as a father. And of course, there was Todoroki.

Bakugo then turned his body towards me. "Look, about those scars... I won't ask you about them - I-I... I'm here if you need someone to talk to. I won't judge," his voice was low.

I smiled at him. "Thanks, Bakugo. It means a lot."

"You don't have to call me that," he said. "You can call me Katsuki," he muttered.

My ears perked up. "Wait. Really?" 'He wants me to call me by his first name?"

He scoffed. "Yeah whatever. It only makes sense since I call you by your first name."

"But, you call me small fry...."

"THATS BECAUSE YOU ARE!"

'Annnddddd there it is. The screaming is back.'

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Hmm whatever, Katsuki." I saw a tint of red rise up to his cheeks before he turned to hide his face.

I couldn't help but laugh. Bakugo really was strange but he was interesting. He was okay.

I slowly got up. "We should go before the man kicks us out for being too loud."

After we packed our bags, I headed for the door to exit the room before I felt something soft hit the back of my head. "What the hell?" I turned to glare at the spiky hair blonde, then I noticed the hoodie on the floor.

"Wear it, it's cold outside and you didn't bring a damn jacket" he muttered.

"It's fine, I don't nee-", but I stopped talking when I saw him murderously glaring at me. 'Ookay, maybe I will.' I pulled the black hoodie over me. It was soft and warm inside and surprisingly it smelled like caramel.

We walked outside and headed home. I walked towards the road that lead to my home and realized that Katsuki was doing the same. I glanced sideways. "Do you live this way too?"

He scoffed. "No idiot. I'm walking you home," he replied as he stuffed his hands in his pockets.

The air was cold and the wind blew against my arms. I rubbed my arms to keep myself warm. I was grateful that he gave me his sweatshirt. I glanced sideways and saw that he was staring at the ground as he was walking.

When we finally reached my house after complete silence, I took off my bag strap to take off the sweater to return to its owner.

"Just keep it," he muttered. "I have tons anyways."

"Oh o-okay, thanks," I smiled.

"Give me your phone," Katsuki reached out his hand. Confused, I reached for my phone from my bag and handed it to him.

He typed in it and then handed it to me. "Here that's my number. Text me anytime if you want to train with me instead of with that worthless Deku," he spat.

I blinked in confusion. Then I smiled and slapped him on the back of his head.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!"

"Stop looking down on Izuku!" I scolded.

"Tch whatever," he scoffed. "Be prepared to get your ass beat at the Sports Festival, small fry," he smirked.

A smile crept up to my face. "In your dreams, short fuse."

He turned to leave, but before he could, he said "Thanks. For training with me and being honest," he said lowly it came out as a whisper.

"Of course. See you in class, Katsuki," I replied with a small wave.

"See you, Sakura," he muttered as he walked away.

As I watched him walk away, I realized that I felt better than earlier today. The ball of anger was slowly deteriorating inside me. I took a deep breath and went inside my house.
