One, one day left till I have to go to school, one day left till I have to move in with a complete stranger, a day left till I'll be completely on my own.
To be honest I'm not as excited to explore the world anymore, all I could ever think about is being feared by other people. Yet, there is still so much more that I have to see, why is that stopping me? I don't think I should be caring what other people think either, but how could you not when you're aware that people are afraid of you?
Aunt Sakura: "SUGA' WAKE UP"
My head jolted up from the sudden yell. I take a moment to look around to see Aunt Sakura's head popping in through the door.
Aunt Sakura: "C'mon hurry up and get dressed, you're going to school orientation today!"
You mumble "You've got to be kidding... well I guess exploring the school could be fun..."
Her head popped back out, I groaned. I was really hoping that I could just relax today. So I get up to find some somewhat presentable clothes, I settle with some jeans and a random button up. I quickly put on my shoes and head downstairs.
The door was wide open and my aunt was already in the car
Aunt Sakura: "Hurry up hurry up! It started 15 minutes ago Suga'!"
She threw me the keys telling me to lock the door for her. I couldn't help but groan, she seems to be unprepared for anything.
I sat in the front seat, and my aunt starts the car. Without hesitation she immediately took off. The sudden movement forced me into my seat, the car was moving quite fast.
Aunt Sakura: "What are you doing put your seatbelt on!!"
You: "Well I'm sorry you took off before I even got the chance to!!"
For the rest of the way we continued to ramble back and forth, well... Aunt Sakura was doing most of the rambling.
Aunt Sakura: "Are you excited or what!?"
You: "I guess you could say that but I'm nervous more than ever"
Aunt Sakura: "Oooooh I bet my handsome little man is gonna get all the ladies!!"
You: "W-what?"
Aunt Sakura: "Ooh I bet you're gonna have to join a club too!! Hmm which are you interested in Art, Band, Photography, Chorus, *gasp maybe even Drama club??"
You: "Uh uh-mm I guess photography sounds interesting"
Aunt Sakura: "Then you better show me the best photos in the world! Maybe take some of your gorgeous auntie right in front of you? I've always wanted to be a model growing up."
We arrived at Cherryton Academy, just by looking from a distance it was huge! It's as if my aunts house tripled by ten times. There were many more bright pink trees, and a huge crowd of people walking around together too! This felt way different from the store at the plaza. It felt like it was full of life and people weren't scared of each other. A lot of the animals there had really special patterns on their fur. There was a tall rabbit girl with one big split of black and white.
Aunt Sakura: "Are you ready to get out yet, or do you still wanna keep star gazing at your soon to be class mates?"
You: "Oh yeah, I'm ready! Hopefully..."
We get out of the car and already I've been hit by a wave of nervousness. I've never been around so many people before. It's kind of hard to get around when people are constantly towering over me, I've never felt shorter till now. I kept walking trying my best to stay in my aunts path. However as we kept walking, I started to lose her.
You: "Hey excuse me! Pardon me!"
I tried even harder but there was no hope, I lost her. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, being crowded by random strangers, not knowing where to go, losing my auntie. I gotta get out of here! I desperately searched for an open area, pushing other animals out of the way. This kept going for a while until I finally made it out. I looked at the area around me, there where a lot of stalls each having their own theme. One was filled with flowers, and another had a lot of painting and art supplies. I started looking around for someone who might know where I am, I decided to ask a tall, blue peacock who was standing at one of the stalls.
You: "Um excuse me..."
They continued to look out, I'm guessing I didn't catch his attention.
You: "Excuse me!"
His head snaps down catching my gaze with small shocked expression.
???: "Oh hi there!"
He neck bends in a weird way, only making me feel even smaller.
You: "Yeah umm sorry about that, but I have no idea where I am..."
Dom: "Oh! You must be lost, I'm Dom and right now you're at the club recruitment area. Are you gonna be attending the school?"
You: "Yeah I am, I'm a junior.."
Dom: "Really? You're really small for a ca—"
You: "I know.. I know... don't mention it"
Dom: "Hehe sorry, say do you need a little help around?"
You: "Y-yes I'd appreciate it"
Dom: "I'm happy to help! LEGOSHI TAKE OVER THE STAND FOR ME PLEASE"
Legoshi?: "Yeah I gotcha"
That name sounds familiar, isn't it the guy Jack was talking about? I see a grey wolf come around the corner, wow he really is tall. He drops a couple of boxes in front of him and walks next to Dom. He looks down at me for a second then at Dom.
Dom: "Hey I need you to take over a bit, I'm gonna give this guy..... I didn't catch your name"
You: "Oh sorry it's M/N"
???: Gasp* "M/N??"
I heard someone call out my name, I look around rather nervously. Until I have glompled on the ground by a familiar Labrador.
Jack: "OH MY GOSH YOU CAME!!"
You: "Oh hi Jack" you winced**
He gets up and grabs me by the hand, helping me up as well. Both Dom and Legoshi looked at us with surprise.
Jack: "Legoshi!! This was the guy I was talking about!"
I see him look over to me and he did a small wave.
Jack: "I didn't think you'd come to orientation!"
You: "Neither did I to be honest, I was dragged here by my aunt" Saying this made me thinks of the warm comforts of my bed..
"You two know each other?" I heard Dom asked
Jack: "Yeah! I've heard about him for months actually, my mom and his aunt became good friends. It was only until... two days ago that we actually met, and let me tell ya this guy is awesome at Smash Brothers."
Dom: "Glad to hear that you already have a friend here M/N, now Jack get back to work while I show him around"
Jack: "Got it! Bye M/N!!!!!"
You: "Hehe bye.."
I start walking off with Dom and look back once more, Legoshi was staring in my direction for a while. Eventually looking back at Jack.
Dom: "Now here at Cherryton we have a wide variety of clubs, I'm sure there's one that would pique your interests"
You: "Well I had thought about this earlier and... do you have photography club"
Dom: "Haha, well that's the one thing we don't have, but instead we have the newsprints club. Where you can basically do the same thing but there has to be a story or gossip behind it. Yknow for views! Still interested?"
You: "I don't know I'm kinda on the fence, can we still check it out?"
Dom: "Yes, yes, of course!"

(First POV switch yee)
I couldn't help but stare at M/N he was really different from the other dogs. It's not about his height or anything but he was small, mass wise. He still had muscle however. I realize he was looking at me and I quickly turned away, I turned to Jack who was opening up the boxes I set down.
Legoshi: "Hey, Jack?"
Jack: "Yeah what's up?"
Legoshi: "That guy L/N have you ever thought about... how he..."
Jack: "Yeah I have actually he's the second carnivore I've met that's shorter than me other than Voss. I didn't want to mention it to him incase it was rude or a touchy subject"
Legoshi: "Y-yeah, what else do you know about him?"
Jack: "He was home schooled for a long time, in fact I think this is his first year going to a real school. He's surprisingly chill"

You: "Wow this is really cool actually"
I was looking at bunch of older school newspapers, each one having amazing photos. A lot of them being about the plays in the school.
Club Director: "Uhuh! So you applying or what?"
You: "I'll... Ill apply!"
Club Director: "Awesome, just sign your name here in print and all you need to do now is show me your best photos and you have the position!"
I sign my name on the list while on my left I see Dom's head peaking over my shoulder.
Dom: "Ooh I bet this is gonna be great! I hope you enjoy the club"
You: "Hehe thanks"
"OH MY GOD SUGA' IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU EVERYWHERE!"
I turn around and I see my aunt running towards me. She slows down panting in front of me.
Aunt Sakura: "I THOUGHT I LOST YOU!!"
I pulls me into an awkward hug. I laugh nervously as Dom watches. My aunt looks up and sees him.
Aunt Sakura: "M/N... did you get another frieeeeennnnndd?" A mischievous grin slowly grow on her face.
You: "Oh I umm he- he's just"
Dom: "Yeah I'd consider him a friend"
I comically sweat, my aunt sprinted over to him shaking his hand vigorously.
Aunt Sakura: "I'm so glad you made friends with my Suga', what's your name??"
Dom: "I'm Dom nice to meet you"
Aunt Sakura: "Clean, rather sophisticated, and he is polite too! With this guy Suga' ain't no way you're not gonna have good time I bet!"
You: "Aunt.. aunt Sakura p-please stop" An overwhelming embarrassment covered my entire body, I was even blushing a little.
Aunt Sakura: "Aww I'm sorry Suga' don't mind me I'm just making sure you have the best year here, I can't help it!.. Oh! By the way while I was looking for you I ran into your dorm manager he says you'll have a 5 different roommates, one of them their names is.... Legoshi, oh and Jack too!!"
"Legoshi?! Man I would kill to be with him" I heard Dom say "I'd wish to be roommates with you L/N but the school unfortunately doesn't allow herbivores, and carnivores to be together."
I start to get nervous "Is.. he really cool and stuff??"
Dom: "Yeah! don't be worried, he's actually a really chill guy"
Aunt Sakura: "Suga' please let me know if you're getting into trouble with anybody, the last thing I want is my baby boy to get hurt."
You: "I-I promise"
I began to calm my self down as I walked off with my auntie. I waved goodbye to Dom and kept walking. My aunt began handing me my schedules, teachers e-mails, a bunch of text books, codes, and so much more. I'm kinda overwhelmed at the moment. All I really want to do now is get back, and sleep the entire day away.
