" GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THE HOUSE BEFORE I KICK IT OUT MYSELF!" My mum yells at me as I finish putting on my jeans.
" Give me five minutes mum!" I yell quickly downs. As I'm about to walk out my door, I realise that I'm still not wearing a shirt.
" Crap! crap crap crap crap craaaaaaap!" I whisper yell to myself as I take apart whats left of my drawers and search for a decent enough shirt to wear for my trip to my new high school. Finally, I put on a black tank top and put on my favorite Green Day hoodie and carry the last box downstairs and set it next to th other ones.
" Take the map off of th table, it should help you find your way, I wrote Aunt Mara's address on the end of it. Love you, bye. " My mum, Lauren, says as she goes back downstairs to her booze and TV.
" Yeah, thanks. Love you too." I mumble as I start carrying my boxes outside to my truck. I finish strapping them in and go out back to get Origo, my piebald stud. I've had him since I was fourteen, he was only three months old at the time, I had rescued him from an abandonned farm and he imprinted on me as his mum. He's black and white with the ocasional brown spots. He also has a green eye on one side an blue on the other side. I go out to the pasture and whistle until he comes running to me.
" Good boy, Ori. Ready for a road trip?" I ask handing him a mint. He hates going on the road and responds to my question by snorting and turning around, his usual 'No' sign.
" Come on babe, please, for me?" I ask him sweetly and put my hand out to give him another treat. He turns around and whinnies his agreement.
"Good boy, thats it, just a little more." I say quietly as I hook his lead-line to his halter. I lead him to the trailer and hook him up to the side.
" OK, just give me one minute while I get my truck." I tell him as I run up to my car and get in. I back up slowly and stop a foot in front of the trailer. I park the car and get out and hook the trailer to the car easily. I went to the back of it and opened the doors, all my tack was already in there. After bribing him with another treat, Origo went in and I closed the doors before he could change his mind. I got into my car turned on the radio and prepared myself for the five hour drive coming up.
