Genevieve arrived home and decided to go look for a job somewhere. She thought she might take up the job as an assistant for a doctor. She doesn't go to the surgeries, thank god, and gets paid very well by the doctor that she is an assistant for. She walked back to her car and drove to the hospital. Genevieve gets there and walk to the front desk as there was a woman who was sitting behind the desk was on the phone.
Genevieve stood there waiting for her to finish her call. The woman soon finished and smiled up at the woman in front of her, "Hello. How can I help you?" The Asian woman smiled and greeted her, "Hi. I'm here for the assistant position if it's still open." The woman smiled at her and nodded, "Ah yes. It is. I believe Doctor Cullen needed an assistant. I will call him down and get him to have a meeting with you." Genevieve nodded, "Thank you."
She sat down and waited but took the time to examine the room. The walls were plain old white with some pictures on the wall. There were doors on both sides of the desk area to go to different modules/places. There were people everywhere waiting to be seen by doctors. What confused me was some women were adjusting their breasts and fixing their make-up for some reason.
The door opened to show a man with blonde hair and was wearing a doctor's coat/shrub. The woman at the desk waved Genevieve over. She stood up and walked over to the woman and to who she guessed was Doctor Cullen. "Doctor, this is the woman I told you about. She seems interested in the job" The woman tells him making the Asian woman hold her hand out, "Genevieve Swan, sir." Carlisle smiled and shook her hand, "Carlisle Cullen. Swan? As in Charlie's daughter?"
Genevieve nodded, "Yes, sir." Carlisle nodded before pointing to the direction of his office, "Why don't we talk in my office?" She nods and he walks away to his office. Genevieve looked at the women in the room and saw them all staring at her in disgust and jealousy. We walked into his office and sat down.
"So, why do you want this job?" Carlisle asks making Genevieve immediately tell him about her thoughts, "Well, I love helping people who are injured and/or hurt. Besides, what do you think will happen if we don't have enough doctors to save people one day? Imagine that!" Carlisle looked at her for a while before he grinned, "You're hired." She raised her eyebrows at him, "Really?" He nodded, "Yes. Many people who want the job, which was all women, got the job acting all nice and all, and then they change so they can get close to me."
"I saw all the women out in the waiting room. Disgusting." She told him making him laugh, "I did too. You're right on that." Genevieve looked at him with curiosity, "When do I start?" He smiled, "Tomorrow. We won't have a lot of staff, so you would be very useful."
"Alright. I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I told him
"Alright," Carlisle says
I got up and shook his hand. His hand was really cold, but I guess that's how it is here in Forks. I leave after flashing him a smile and head back to the front desk.
"Hello dear. Did you get the job?" The woman asks
I nodded and smiled
"Congratulations. Not many girls get the job right away. You must be special" The woman says
"I'm not special. I just want a job. Not to get close to someone right away because of looks" I told her
"Well, I guess I will have to send these women home. They were also here for the job" The woman tells me
"Well thanks...um?" I say not knowing the woman's name
"Margaret. Feel free to call me Mara. You?" Mara asks
"Genevieve, but you can call me Viv or Gennie," I tell her
"Well Viv see you tomorrow," Mara says to me
"You too," I say to Mara smiling
I drove home and walked inside the house. Charlie was home and I saw Bella's truck, so I knew Bella was home. Charlie was sleeping on the couch as I headed up the stairs. I walked to Bella's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in, Viv," Bella says
I walked in and saw her on the phone with probably Renee. I sat down at Bella's desk chair after I had moved it to the front of the bed. Bella smiled as she hung up the phone with Renee.
"Hey, weird question, but do I smell?" Bella asks me
I furrowed my brows confused and asked "What?"
"Do I smell...bad?" Bella asks again
"No, you smell like Strawberry," I told her
"Ok good," Bella says
"Why did you want to know?" I asked
"So, have you heard of the Cullen family since you moved here?" Bella asks
"No. I met Dr.Cullen if that counts" I told her
"Well, the Cullen's are supposed to be the most attractive people of Forks. I have biology with Edward Cullen and he looked at me in disgust as soon as I walked in. Then when I went to hand in my slip, he was trying to get switched out of the class because of me" Bella says
"That's weird," I said
"I know! Wait! How'd you meet Dr.Cullen?" Bella asks
"I am now his assistant starting tomorrow," I told her with a smile
"That's great! How'd you get the job?" Bella asks
"So, I talked to him like a normal person should. Basically, he told me that all these women tried to get the job just to be close to him, and maybe get a chance with him. He hired me right then and there" I told her
"Was there a lot of women at the hospital?" Bella asks me
"Yup. A lot of them were adjusting their breasts and fixing their make-up for him" I told her
"Wow. You must have felt awkward being around them" Bella tells me
"Yeah. It was traumatizing" I told her
"I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight" Bella says laying down
"Would you like a ride? Before I go into work?" I asked
"Yes, please," Bella says with a smile
I giggled and got up. I pushed the chair back and left her room. I walked to my room and fell right to sleep.

Carlisle's POV
I got home from the hospital only to have Alice pull me into the room as everyone sat down. Alice was smiling very brightly at something. Probably a vision she had. Alice sat me down next to Daniel, Esme's mate.
"What's going on?" I asked
"Did you meet anyone new at the hospital today?" Alice asks me
"Yes," I said
"Was she your new assistant?" Alice asks
"Yes. Wait. How'd you know? Oh, wait. Visions" I said internally face-palming myself
"Yes. She is your mate. I saw you two together. Working together at the hospital. Holding hands. Getting married. Being there when Bella meets the family." Alice says dreamily
"What's she going on about?" Rosalie asks
"She saw a vision of Carlisle and his mate. She's Bella's older sister, who now is Carlisle's assistant" Edward says
"Ooh! Does this mean we will have a mom!?" Rosalie asks excitedly
"Kids. At least let Carlisle speak" Esme scolds
"I don't know her all too well. All I know is that she is different than everyone in this small town. She is not here to get close to me or try getting a chance with me. She is here for her sister, who is Edward's mate." I said
"Wait, Edward's mate is sister's to yours?" Emmett asks
I nodded
"That's weird in some way," Emmett says
"Do you think she would be safe listening to our secret?" Rosalie asks cutting Emmett off
"Alice? What do you see?" I asked
"I don't see anything bad happening to her. I do see though Carlisle happy with her" Alice says
"Then there will be nothing to worry about," I said with a smile
