Grace's POV
I haven't heard from Rose, I wanted to come over.
I didn't call her because I didn't have her number but I remembered her address, she's lived there for years.
After I drove the 10 minute drive to her house, I knocked on the door, only to find Rose.
In a robe.
Messy hair.
"I knew it! Hahaha!" I laughed and let myself in.
Rose's POV
This was embarrassing. My sister had the worst timing. I rolled my eyes and turned toward Patrick, gesturing toward my sister.
They both hugged and greeted each other and it made me happy to see them get along so well.
For some reason, I had a really bad feeling.
I pushed it down and forced a smile.
Mystery POV
I was in a parking lot, it was about 10 pm.
No cars, except mine.
Perfect.
I blasted Hallelujah, my favorite song, as loud as it could go.
"I'm sorry," I said audibly, even though no one else was in the car.
I took a handful of the tiny pills that had once been my lifesaver, keeping me happy.
I swallowed all of them in a huge gulp, downing my water afterward. I closed my eyes, humming along to the song.
I eventually fell asleep, and I didn't wake up.
Rose's POV
I got a call from Pete's sister- she never called.
I answer with a worried "Hello?"
"Rose, something's wrong with Pete."
