"I Can't Handle Change."

Ever since your childhood, you could never adjust to change.
Small changes like adding new decor to your room or moving into a house just a couple blocks away, or transitioning from elementary to middle school, was all rather difficult for you.
But as long as you stayed in London, you didn't mind simple change. However, it always seemed like when you were the happiest, your life would take a violent turn towards the worst. Just as you got settled in your second year of high-school, your father told you the one thing you never wanted to hear:
"We're moving!"
To say the least, you were not excited.
I mean Japan sounded nice obviously, but leaving home was- hard.
Your father's job had just placed him in Japan, which usually meant a 2-4 year stay.
"Not tryna state the obvious or anything, but Japan is pretty far."
You replied, nervously refraining from biting
your nails.
"Oh but darling, you know how my new job is. And it's only for the next two years. Then you can come back here and go back to living your normal life." Your father explained.
Although he already knew that nothing he could say would make you feel better. And of course, that was just the beginning.
