Chapter four: " What the hell is that?!"
Narrator's pov
" Do you even know if this is the right way, Redhead?" Kaoru asked, the gang of 5 have been walking around in the woods for more then an hour, and Brick was leading the way. And Kaour is getting pissed and so was Butch.
" Oh shut up, I know it's the right way!" Brick said without even looking behind him, Boomer was walking besides Momoko, talking about what happened to her. And Butch and Kaoru were trailing behind them.
" They are your brothers, right?" Kaoru asked Butch, he nodded, " Yeah, unbelievable, right?"
" Nah, I've been wondering since the moment I met you guys. You all are incredible stupid," she said with a small chuckle.
" Oh thanks for the compliment," he said and rolled his eyes. Those two really can't stand each other.
" Why do you think that?" Boomer asked Momoko, she sighed, " I'm an amateur, remember? I only got into the academy because my parents told me that I should follow my dreams, and one of my dreams is to be a patissiere," she said, Boomer nodded.
" One of your dreams? Sounds to me like you have a lot of dreams," he said. Momoko laughed slightly," Haha, yeah, I guess, you can say that."
" Ugh, dreams are stupid," Brick said from the front, Boomer and Momoko rolled their eyes, " dreams are for little children anyway, what do you have with those useless dreams? They aren't even real anyway."
" Sometimes when you want to get out of reality, dreams are wonderful! It makes the reality a little bit brighter! And when it comes true, it's honestly the best feeling in the world! Probably, since none of my dreams never came true," Momoko said with a bitter smile, Boomer patted her back.
Brick made a disgusted face, " Ugh, you aren't going to cry right? I hate girls who cry, it's so annoying."
Momoko and Boomer ignored Brick's comments about Momoko and girls in general, " Don't listen to him, he never knew how to react whenever a girl cries. That's why he said those things," Boomer whispered to Momoko, who only nodded.
" God Hiro- or whatever! My feet hurt! Can't we just rest a little, look it's night already!" Kaoru finally yelled out after, what feels like an hour walk.
Brick rolled his eyes at her, " Hey you, bow head, does your feet hurt too?" he asked Momoko, " Huh? Ah, no, I'm alright," she then turned to Kaoru, "I'm surprised Kaoru, you're usually the one who yells at everyone, saying: ' You lazy asses! Is this all you got! God, we have been walking for more then 5 hours! I can do this for 10 hours straight!'"
Kaoru awkwardly sratched the back of her head," U-umm, that is," she then noticed Brick in the front, looking around him like a lost puppy, she growled, " For heaven's sake, Hiro! You don't even know where we're going, do you?"
Brick turned around with surprise, " O-of course, I-I do!"
" Do tell, where are we now then?" she said with crossed arms, the others watched the two of them having a glaring contest. And in this contest, Kaoru obviously won.
" In the woods..?" he just said, everyone rolled their eyes, " No shit, Sherlock!" Butch said, " You obviously got us lost in the middle of nowhere! Thanks brother!"
" Wait, so, we're practically stuck here in the woods? With no food?" Boomer and Momoko asked in sync, Kaoru nodded, " Sadly, yes, we are stuck in the woods with no food."
" Nooooo!" Momoko suddenly yelled out, everyone then started to calm her down. " Shhh!" everyone said sternly at her. Kaoru covered her mouth, " Listen.."
Everyone held their breaths, there were rustles by the bushes around them.
" God, can this day get any better?" Kaoru muttered, as if on cue, right after Kaoru spoke a bear came out from the bushes. He looked innocent at first but then, it saw the 5 people and started growling at them.
" Guys, carefully back away," Kaoru whispered, as she pushed every behind. The bear had fixed his gaze on the teenagers, watching their every moves as they slowly took steps behind.
When they were at least 5 meters apart from each other, the bear lost interest in them and then decided to go back through the bushes were he came out of. The teenagers sighed in relief. " Thank god that's over," Kaour sighed.
" At least he didn't attack us," Momoko said, the others agreed. " Well, it isn't raining so-"
As if on cue, the thunder roared and then it started raining, everyone groaned and Kaoru covered her mouth with one hand. " Great! Just great! What's your plan this time, miss-let's stop for a while my feet hurt-!" Brick retored and glared at her.
" Hey, let's stop by at the cave I saw earlier when you two were having a staring contest!" the oblivious blond guy said out of nowhere, the others turned to him with surprised looks. " What?"
" How did you find a cave?" Brick asked, completely getting wet just like the others. " Well, I followed this pretty butterfly and it led me to a cave not from here! And the butterfly also led me back here right after your staring contest!" he chirped.
The others face palmed, " WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US THIS SOONER?!" his siblings yelled at him. Boomer took a step back, " I thought it wasn't important!"
" OF COURSE IT IS IMPORTANT YOU IDIOT!" they yelled at him, Kaoru and Momoko got irritated. They're getting drenched at the guys are only yelling at each other! " CAN YOU GUYS CUT IT OUT ALREADY!? WE'RE ALL COMPLETELY DRENCHED AND YOU START YELLING AT EACH OTHER! JUST SHUT UP!" Momoko snapped, it gave the guys almost a heart attack. And that wasn't the first for Kaoru, who just covered her ears when Momoko shouted at them.
Momoko sighed and then said calmy to Boomer, which she didn't know his name,"and please lead the way."
Boomer soon recovered from the shock and beamed at her, " Sure! Just follow me!" he chirped. Blossom followed him, and Kaoru? She dragged the two other guys who are still in shock for some reason.
OooOooOooOooOooO
" It's dark in here."
" Duh, isn't it Obvious? It's also dark outside!"
" I can't see a thing!"
" That's what I said a moment ago!"
" Will you guys shut up for a second!"
...
" Can someone make a fire?"
" I have a lighter with me."
" ..."
" Why do you-"
" You know, for an emergency like this."
" Do these things happen to you?"
" Sometimes."
" ... "
" I don't even want to know anymore."
" Good, because I wasn't going to explain it to you anyway."
A few minutes later, there was light! Thanks to Brick who lighted the wood, that they had picked up on the way to the cave. " Well, it's small, but luckily we picked a lot of wood while going here!"
" Yeah, thank god," Kaoru rolled her eyes, which made Momoko giggle a little.
" I haven't catched your name, yet," Momoko said while looking at the guys, they looked up at her.
" I'm Jun! It's nice to meet you, Momoko!" Boomer chirped at her, his siblings sighed in relief, Thank god, he still remembers his 'name'.
" I'm Hiro," Brick said.
" And I'm Aoi-" Butch was then cut off by Kaoru, who added,-" He's my new roommate."
Momoko raised an eye brow at her, Kaoru knew what she meant, " I did not like my previous roommate so I asked to switch! And he became my roommate."
" That explains a lot."
" ... So, how's it going with your roommate?" Kaoru asked, Momoko flinched a little and her eyes looked sad, but she covered it all with a fake smile. The guys didn't notice, but Kaoru knew better.
" Well..."
Flashback, Narrator's pov
(Please note that Yumeiro Patissiere Profesional, did not happen yet!)
" Hi! I'm Hana Tsukino, your new roommate! It's nice to meet you, Akatsutsumi-san!" she smiled at Momoko, she smiled back. " Just call me Momoko, and nice to meet you too Hana-chan!"
After the introduction the girls helped each other pack their stuff, " So, Momoko. What's the reason for you being here?"
" Mmmhh, actually, my parents signed me up here because I make really good sweets. I, I don't really know what I would like to be when I grow older. What about you, Hana?"
" My parents signed me in too, without me knowing. You know, I, I always wanted to be a singer, you know. Singing in front of a large audience and singing my heart out, but I know, I have the worst voice ever. But I still enjoy singing anyway, when I found out I have a bad voice, I was broken. It was like my dreams vanished in a blink of an eye. But then, I ate my grandpa's apple cake, it was deliciouse. Ever since that day, I've been going to my grandpa's shop and watched the people go out with such bright and happy smiles on their faces. It's the kind of smile you would see, when you are in a concert. I always wanted to make people smile with whatever I do, so, that's why I'm here. And I'm happy that my parents signed me up here. And you know, Momoko," she turned to Momoko and smiled at her.
"You're the first person that I have ever told this, so, let's be best friends from now on!" Hana held out her hand to her with a big smile.
Momoko smiled back and shook her hand, " Of course!"
" Hey, let's check around the school! But first the kitchen!~ " Hana said as she gleefully jumped up and down. Momoko giggled and agreed right away.
The two girls then made their way to the kitchen, apparently there were already students inside. " Can you see what their cooking?" Hana whispered to Momoko, both of them were peeking inside. Normally they aren't really allowed here at the moment, because on the door stood ' No Entrence, Unless you've got permission'.
Momoko stood on the tips of her toes, " No. Don't see it, you?"
" Nothi-"
Suddenly, the door they were leaning on moved forward, which made both of them lose balance and fall forward too! " Ouch!~ "
When they looked up they saw 3 handsome guys, a guy with light green hair, a guy with blonde hair and then a guy with black hair. But their handsomeness is not hard to see, Hana had heart shapped eyes!
The guy with light green hair held out his hand to Hana, who was already looking up at the three, " Are you alright?" he asked her charmingly. She squealed and took his hand, this guy had long eye lashes, like that of a girl's and he had a smal mole at at the corner of his right eye.
Hana was too mesmirized by the boys their beauty that she forgot that Momoko was knocked out on the ground.
As Momoko woke up from the fall, a hand appeared in front of her, she looked up. In belonged to a really cute girl with brown hair tied in pigtails and a bit curled at the end, " Are you alright?"
She took her hand and the brown haired girl helped her up, Momoko turned to her friend, but already saw that she was being captivated by the light green haired boy's lines. But unlike her friend and her usual obsession of handsome guys, she stayed calm.
" Ummm," she heard next to her, " Are you new here?" the girl asked.
Momoko nodded, " Yeah, I'm Akatsutsumi Momoko, nice to meet you," she held out her hand to her. " Amano Ichigo, nice to meet you too, Akatsutsumi-san," they shook each the hand.
" Umm, can I ask, what are you baking?" Momoko asked. Amano Ichigo smiled and took Momoko's hand and she dragged her to the table with their creation. Ichigo took a slice of the cake and put it on a plate, she then gives it to Momoko.
" This is a Baumkuchen! It's a layered cake resembling the rings of a tree! Come on, taste it!" Ichigo smiled as she encouraged Momoko to take a bite. She took a small piece of the cake on her plate and ate it.
She didn't speak afterwards, her eyes spoke for her! Her eye were wide and they were sparkling, " How is it?" Ichigo asked her. The orange haired girl stared at Ichigo as if she said something rediculious! " It's delicous!"
" Thank you! I learned from the best!" she smiled.
But, thanks to that, Momoko realized something. Something that she hadn't thought of before she transfered to this school.
She never thought of the real reason, why she even went to this school.
She remembered her parents, saying that she begged them to send her to Academy! However, she forgot the reason why. Why did she even want to be here in the first place. Is it because she wants to eat sweets? No, that can't be it. It must have been something else, but what? What was the reason that made her want to make sweets and go to this school?
End of Flashback!
" So? What did you realize?" Boomer after Momoko told her the story. The others growled, " Jun, you stupid idiot! She just told us, that she does not know the reason why she went to the cooking school in the first place!" Butch growled at him.
He pouted, " Sorry, I was just asking."
By then, Kaoru switched her seat and now sat next to Momoko, " Well, that's all for story telling now. It's getting late, and-"
Kaoru the realized that the guys are already asleep, " Freakin' dumb sh*ts," she soon afterwards, she fell asleep aswell.
She was the last one awake, but before she fell asleep aswel, she muttered, " Tomorrow we all are going to be in so much trouble."
That's all for now! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated ANYTHING! So much drama, so much projects, so much pain! AUGH!
