Nights has never been your friend. It's treacherous and deceitful. It will make you believe that happiness is out of your league. It will make you feel you're all alone. It will creeps into your bones and suck all the joy you have until you can't smile anymore—until you forget who you are.
Funny how it calms you at the same time. The silence of the silence that comforts you and the tickling sound of a clock in the middle of the night are the best companion you could ever have. It doesn't talk nor judge you. It's just there staying with you.
It may be contradicting but this is how it feels. Loving and hating, falling and breaking, mending and hurting—all at once.
