Shirabe POV
The next day I was watching Raimon practicing.
Kurumada: "Let's go, Tenma!"
Tenma: "Okay! Ugh!"
Amagi: "Here goes!"
Tenma: "Ugh!"
Kurumada: "Are you okay?"
Amagi: "Maybe you should take a break."
Tenma: "I'm fine. I can still go on. I feel something bubbling inside of me. It's like a power is bursting to come out as soon as possible."
Kurumada: "A power bursting to come out?"
Amagi: "It must be a hissatsu technique."
Tenma: "So, I think if I keep training more and more, that power will come out!"
A bubbling power? The way he's explaining makes it confusing.
I shake my head trying to stop a headache from coming.
Kurumada: "All right, come on!"
Tenma: "Okay!"
Then Matsukaze started running towards Kurumada-san.

"Was that..."
Then Tsurugi approached Matsukaze.
Tsurugi: "Hey."
Tenma: "Eh?"
Tsurugi: "Looks like what you said about a power hiding inside you is true."
Tenma: "What's with this all of a sudden?"
Tsurugi: "Coach, can I partner with him this time?"
Tsurugi's probably trying to get that Avatar out of him. I should probably send this to Kiri-chan.
I took a few pictures of Matsukaze and Tsurugi practicing on my phone and then sent it to Kiri-chan's number.
Akane: "You're good at taking photos."
"Hm? Oh, thank-"
I paused and then there was a long silence until...
"AAAAAH!"
I screamed and jumped away from Yamana-san. Then I ended up falling down on the ground.
"Ow..."
3rd POV
Everyone at the field turned their heads at the scream and looked up to see Shirabe and Akane. Akane worriedly kneeled down to her.
Kirino: "That girl...."
Shindou: "Isn't that..."
Mirai: "Shirabe!"
Shindou: "Eh?"
Shirabe looked at Mirai and then gave an awkward smile.
Endou: "Mirai, you know her?"
Mirai: "Huh? Well yes..."
Then after a while, Shirabe came down and faced everyone.
Shirabe: "I'm sorry for the noise I've caused."
Endou: "No, it's not a problem don't worry!"
Mirai: "What are you doing here anyway, Shirabe?"
Shirabe: "Ah... well..."
Endou: "Were you planning to join afterall?"
Shirabe: "Ah... well..."
Shindou: "After all?"
Endou: "I invited her to join the club. If you want to be a manager that's fine too."
Shirabe looked away uncomfortably.
Shirabe: "I'm sorry.... I'm still unsure..."
Endou: "I see... well if you just want to watch feel free to watch from the bench. No need to you to be hiding."
Coach Endou smiled at Shirabe. No one saw but Shirabe gave him a quick questioning look.
Shirabe: "... Okay."
Then for the rest of practice Shirabe watched from the sidelines.
*After Practice*
Mirai: "Good work today!"
Aoi: "Here Mirai-chan."
Mirai: "Ah, thank you."
Mirai took the water bottle from Aoi and then looked back at Tsurugi and Tenma still practicing.
Mirai: "They're still going?"
Aoi: "Yeah..."
Mirai: "I hope they don't push themselves too much..."
Meanwhile Kirino went up to Shindou.
Kirino: "Shindou, that girl..."
Kirino pointed to Shirabe.
Kirino: "Isn't she the girl that..."
Shindou: "Yeah. I met her a few days again in person. She's a second-year like us."
Kirino: "I see..."
Shindou watched from afar at Shirabe.
Mirai: "Shirabe!"
Shirabe: "Ah... Mirai."
Shirabe slightly smiled at her friend.
Shindou: "Now that I think about... I never got her last name."
Kirino: "Her last name?"
Shindou went up to Shirabe.
Shindou: "Hello, Shirabe-san."
Shirabe: "Oh, Shindou-san."
Mirai: "Shirabe, you know Captain?"
Shirabe: "Yes, a bit you could say."
Shindou: "I'm surprised you came to watch practice today."
Shirabe: "Not at all."
Shirabe smiled to Shindou. Then the two chatted for a bit. Mirai walked away from them quietly and stood next to Kirino and Aoi.
Aoi: "Those two get along quite well, don't you think?"
Mirai: "Yeah..."
Kirino: "I've never seen Shindou look that happy..."
Mirai: "Really?"
Kirino: "Well... happy might not be the right word for it..."
Aoi: "Hm... I think I get what you mean Kirino-senpai."
Mirai: "Huh?"
Shindou: "I forgot to ask..."
Shirabe: "Hm?"
Shindou: "What's your last name? I only got your first name last time we spoke."
Shirabe: "Ah...well..."
Endou: "Saegusa."
Shindou: "Eh?"
Endou: "Saegusa, right? Saegusa Shirabe, that's your name right?"
Coach Endou smiled at Shirabe.
Shirabe: "... Wha? How do you.... know my name?"
Endou: "A friend told me."
Shirabe look at Coach Endou with wide eyes but then turned around uncomfortably.
Shirabe: "Um... I'll be going now. E-Excuse me."
Then Shirabe left.
Shinsuke: "What was that about?"
Hamano: "She must of been surprised that Coach knew her name."
Kurama: "It is weird if someone you barely knew already knew your name though."
Everyone stare at Coach Endou. Haruna went up to Endou.
Haruna: "Endou-kun... by Saegusa, is she..."
Endou: "Yeah."
Endou whispered to Haruna.
Endou: "But..."
Endou watched as Shirabe was walking away.
Endou: "... If she's like her father, she loves soccer more than anything else."
Haruna: ! "Her father..."
Shirabe POV
Ah...
I put my hands to my face.
Ah....! Endou-san knew my name! The Endou Mamoru knew my name!
"Wait! Stop it Shirabe! No fan-girling! If he knew my name then..."
He must know that my mom is...
I bit my bottom lip.
... Okay.
"I've made my decision."
I took out my phone and sent a text to Kirara.
To: Kiri-chan
I've decided. If Raimon wins the finals then I'll join and become a manager.
*Beep*
"Ah... fast as always, Kiri-chan."
From: Kiri-chan
Okay! ( ๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑) Make sure to at least message me though! (ノ・∀・)ノMeet at your house?
"Hehe."
I smiled at the emojis.
To: Kiri-chan
Yeah. (⌒_⌒)
I turned off my phone and looked up to the sky.
"Now to just wait for the day..."
Kirara POV
I smiled at Shirabe's reply. Then stood up.
"Looks like we're going to have some great playmates."
???: "Playmates?"
I turned around to see who was asking me.
"Yup! It's going to be super fun! But of course they won't stand a chance against us."
???: "Are you talking about that Raimon? Of course they don't."
"Come now, stop being so hostile Yama-chan. It's not a good look for you."
Yamato: "It's not my fault they're being so annoying. They're going against Father's wishes, of course we can't allow that."
"Yes, yes I know. But they're quite an interesting bunch. Senguuji-san's wishes come first and foremost to me though. Anyway see you later Yama-chan! I'm going over to Shirabe's again!"
Yamato: *sigh* "More like you always do."
