That was some intense workout, remind me to never do something like that again.
I'm not superhuman like Mari or Kanan.
Wait, why are there so many Uranohoshi students around here with trash bags?
Great... My juice is empty.
AKI: "Huh? Dia?"
DIA: "Yes? Oh, good day Akihiko! Out for a stroll? Remember that we're making preparations today."
AKI: "Yeah, don't worry I haven't forgotten. So what are you up to? I see a bunch of students around."
DIA: "Just as you can see, we're collecting garbage. It's cleanliness month at school, so we're all trying to clean up the town."
AKI: "This early?"
DIA: "Make no mistake, it is never too early to begin working on something."
AKI: "I've just finished a major workout with Kanan and Mari, they really didn't go easy on me."
DIA: "That's why you look so tired. Have you finished all the juice in that can you're holding?"
AKI: "Huh? Oh yeah, I've just finished it."
DIA: "Allow me to take it then. There aren't many garbage cans around. Also, it is bad manners to eat or drink while walking around."
AKI: "Really, oh come on... I've just ran for hours up that hill."
DIA: "No excuses."
AKI: "Fine, you win. I'll be careful in the future."
DIA: "As long as you know, that's what's important. May I have the can now? Drinking as you walk around is not only bad manners, but it distracts you and could cause you to fall on the uneven terrain below you."
AKI: "Oh, you're right. There's a lot of garbage around, huh?"
DIA: "Yes... We walk on this road every day, but taking a closer look at it, there really is a lot of trash."
AKI: "It's just pure laziness from people who just think that they can throw trash anywhere they want."
DIA: "Precisely, and now we are only working around the school this time, so we should work hard to reduce the garbage to zero if we can."
AKI: "Whoa, you're really into this."
DIA: "Why wouldn't I be? After all, it's the residents' duty to keep the place they live clean."
AKI: "A place like Uranohoshi really carries a community spirit, it's so different from the big city."
DIA: "YOU THERE! WHY AREN'T YOU CLEANING?! NO MORE PERSONAL CHATTER!"
AKI: "?!"
DIA: "Excuse me. Please do not mind my outburst."
AKI: "N-N-No that's fine. It must be tough keeping all of these other students in line, too."
DIA: "This is a public road that many people walk on. The condition if this road will reflect on Uranohoshi Girls' High School."
AKI: "Yeah, especially with a tourist attraction such as the Summer Festival appoaching."
DIA: "True. Well, whether people see it or not, we should still keep it clean every day to foster good habits. If we don't, there might be a day when it will be too much to handle. It would look like a typhoon hit this place."
AKI: "Wow... Dia, you're truly amazing."
DIA: "What do you mean?"
AKI: "Wanting to organize and keep everything clean, all on your own. I would never do that if people didn't tell me to."
DIA: "It isn't like I think about this all day every day. If I did, I'd have no flexibility for anything else."
AKI: "I've only ever seen you as a member of Aqours. So seeing you as the student council president is really refreshing."
Kinda like how I saw Setsuna as just a president at first. Only this time I've only seen Dia as just an idol at first.
DIA: "Would that be a compliment?"
AKI: "Of course."
DIA: *Giggle* "Thank you."
I looked at the time on my watch, only to realize that it was way past the time I'm supposed to meet Chika at.
AKI: "Eh?! I'm late! I gotta meet Chika at the inn! It's been nice talking, bye Dia see you later!"
DIA: "See you later. Hmmm... Refreshing, huh?"
