"You didn't repeat him." Jade piped up.

"He said 'everything about you is so terrible', you didn't," Jade shrugged. "I'm just saying." (Wonder what would of happened if Jeremy had said you instead of me.)

"No!" Michael whines, hugging Jeremy. Hearing those words come out of Jeremy's mouth felt like he was just stabbed in the heart.
(Can I just say that this line breaks my heart. Like the way he says it. He has this little voice crack that adds to its believability. It always makes me sad. 😔 )

(The SQUIP tucks JEREMY into bed.
"Yourth tucked you in?" Rich asks.
It's very father/son after the ballgame.)

Michael chuckled. It wasn't funny, but at least Jeremy looked better.
