"Hey I brought snacks, wait where did everyone go?" Simeon asked, sounding a little sad with a tray of finger sandwiches in his arm.
"They all left." I nodded.
"Oh," He looked down. "Do you still want to each with me?" He asks hopefully, so I couldn't help but smile.
"Sure, I'd love too." I smile. He takes another seat under the tree and I sit next.
"So what happened when I was gone?" He asked with a mouth full.
"Welllllll," I lean back. "Elisabeth said soemthing to Colette like, 'We are supposed to be best friends.'" I say with a higher voice.
"That's strange. Were her and Colette originally friends in the novel?"
"Yes they were best friends. I forgot about them being best friends and befriended Colette without realization."
"Does Colette or Edwin know about this novel?" He asks still munching.
"No..." I mumble looking up at the sky.
"Who all knows?" He asked looking at me.
"Only you and Leon." I say looking at him.
"I see." He nods. We fell into a silence. It wasn't awkward if anything it was kind of calming.
We eventually decided to part ways. I went back to my room, and he went where ever he went.

"Hey what are you doing today Jody?" Colette asked, brushing her hair at the vanity, while I was on my stomach reading a book.
"Just thinking about staying in, how about you?" I ask, flipping through my pages bored.
"Planning on going into town, want to come with?" She asks while continuing to brush her hair.
"Um sure." I mumble sitting up, "Let me change into something better."
"Sounds good!"

"Woah there are so many people here!"Colette beamed. We were in the city square right now. There were people everywhere.
"Is some event going on?" I ask, getting bumped and pushed around.
"Maybe a festival." Edwin nodded and grabbed Colette's hand to keep her from getting separated. Colette quickly grabbed my hand too and gave me a smile.
"So what should we do first?" She smiled.
"Food!" Edwin and I said at the same time, giving each other a high five.
"Look, is that corn? Corn that's still on the cob!" Colette gasped.
"We have to get some!" Edwin smiled. I haven't had corn on the cob in forever. I smiled.
"We will take three!" Colette smiled and payed for them.
"This is so good!" Edwin laughed.
"Agreed, food vendors are the best." I smiled, taking another bite. Both Edwin and I look to Colette who had already finished her corn. She looked up at us with big eyes and butter on her cheeks. I stifled a laugh as she raised an eyebrow.
"What?" She asked looking both ways. Edwin chuckled slightly and walked up to her. He cupped her cheek and she blushed lightly, leaning into his touch with a shy smile. He drops his corn and grabs a napkin.
"Poor corn..."I mumble under my breath. It was unfinished. He wiped her cheek with a blushy face. I felt like I should look away, so I did. Third wheeling at its finest. Oh how nice of a love story they have....I laughed to myself.
Then I felt myself being pushed away by the big crowd.
"Colette! Edwin!" I called for them, but they didn't seem to head over the excitement of everyone around. Eventually I was able to escape the current of people.
I looked around in my new area I was in. I was in the middle of the plaza or something. In the middle was a large cherry blossom tree. I couldn't help but to stare in awe at it's magnificent site.
I shook my head quickly and decided to try and look for them. I maneuvered the best I could through the crowd.
"Hey watch it." Someone glared.
"Sorry." I replied, pushing past them.
"Hey!" Another person yelled as I accidentally stepped on their foot.
"I'm so sorry!" I bow. After bumping and getting scolded by multiple strangers, I decided to head off in an alley to take a break.
I leaned my back against the cool brick wall. What to do what to do? I paced in my mind.
"Jody?" I looked down to see Leon next to me curled up in a ball.
"Leon?" I gasp.
"Yep." He smiled.
"Why are you curled up in a ball?" I cough, holding back a laugh.
"I've been lost for a bit..." He frowned.
"Who'd you come here with?" I asked sliding down and sitting next to him.
"Guess." He groaned.
"Your Eliza~" I cooed in a high voice.
"mhm." He groaned again and laid his head down on his knees.
"How long?"
"P-pardon?" He stutters looking at me.
"How long have you been lost?" I clarify.
"Oh uh maybe an hour." He sighed looking ahead of him again.
"An hour?" I gasp. "Well come on! Let's get you out of here!" I stand up. He slowly stands up as well.
"I should stay in one place. She is probably looking for me." He smiled softly, almost sadly.
I look out in the crowd and as coincidentally meeting Leon here was, I saw pink hair. It stood out obviously. She was with a common looking boy, I couldn't say he was bad looking at all. I thought she was just talking to him, but then she tripped. He wrapped an arm around her waist and blushed. He held her tighter to his side and she smiled leaning into him.
I glance at Leon's face hoping her wouldn't see, but he is taller and has a better view so why wouldn't he see. His eyes teared up and he clenched his fists.
"Damn it.." He laughed looking down and wiping his eyes.
"Why would she look for me..." I quickly sling my arms over his neck and pull his head into the book of my shoulder.
"Why does it hurt so much, even the second time." He whispers with a shaky voice. I hold my arms around his neck tighter and eventually he gives in and wraps his arms around my waist.
"Let's go get something to eat." I smile pulling away and grabbing his hand. I tried to drag him with me but he wouldn't budge. He looked down at our hands and fiddled with his hand. He fiddled to the point where our fingers were intertwined. I blushed lightly and hoped he couldn't see in the dark alley.
"Yes let us." He smiled as I dragged him away back into the crowd. I stopped suddenly and saw his hood. I quickly pulled it over his head.
He'd attract too much attention. He knows that too, or he wouldn't of worn a hood.
"Those are soup dumplings." I smiled pointing to a stand and running over there with him behind me. I bought three soup dumplings for us both.
"I could've bought it." He frowned.
"It's my treat!" I smiled.
"Woah these are so good! How'd you know abou- oh right." He laughed eating another dumpling.
"Here we can sit over here!" I dragged him pst people to the cherry blossom tree. I glanced up at him as he was staring at the tree. Just then, a light breeze went past. Cherry blossoms flew everywhere and Leon's black hair glistened from under his hood. His red eyes shone bright as they glanced in my direction. Time seemed to freeze. He turned to me with a bright smile and I swear my heart stopped.
