Kazee's POV
Wala na akong nagawa nang tuluyang umalis si Dhelia at iniwan ako sa harap ng pinto ng unit.
I bit my lip and remained standing. I can still back out though. I don't think I can be his maid. Like really? Me doing the dishes? Cooking? I don't think so!
Tama! Let's just find another way. Madami namang pwedeng puntahan. I turned my back and started to walk away when I felt the door opened. I stopped when it was followed by a harsh and sharp baritone voice.
"Where are you going?"
Napabuga ako ng hangin bago lumingon. Pares ng madilim na mata ang sumalubong sa akin. There stood a tanned masculine man, wearing a simple white shirt and black shorts. With thick eyebrows, pointed nose, and hard jawline. I was left speechless.
"Ang gwapo." I whispered.
Parang natauhan naman ako nang sumilay isang nakakalokong ngiti.
"Alam ko." Mayabang niyang sambit.
Nagkibit nalang ako ng balikat at akmang tatalikod nang nagsalita nanaman ang binata. "Are you my maid?"
I scoffed. "No." My lips trembled, trying to suppress my boiling blood. I felt so insulted and honestly I don't want to be a maid! Kahit ganyan kaguwapo ang amo ko!
"I think you are. Come in." Itinuro niya ang pinto gamit ang kanyang mata. And I felt so humiliated!
Ngumiti ako nang pilit at pumasok na lang sa condo niya. Agad na namangha ang mata ko nang bumungad sa akin ang modernong disenyo. Walls are painted with gray and white, that it looked so manly. Just like the owner. I smirked.
"Your unit is quite big." Puna ko.
He tailed me as I roamed around his unit. Nanatiling nakangisi at tila tuwang tuwa sa pagiging pakealamera ko.
"Care to introduce yourself first?" He chuckled. Agad na kumunot ang noo ko. Ang saya naten a?
Ngayong natitigan ko siya nang malapitan, ang gwapo niya. He have this tanned skin and dark but playful aura. My mind changed in a second. Who says I don't want to be his maid? I laughed evily on my mind. Mag eenjoy ako neto. I have a hot and handsome sir.
"Kazee." maikling sambit ko. He cocked his eyebrow. "Where's my room?" tanong ko.
His jaw dropped as if not expecting what I just asked. "You're bossy. How old are you?"
"I'm 18, you?" Tanong ko.
Naiiling siyang tumawa. "I'm 21, just so you know."
I pouted and stared at him. "Should I call you sir? Or you prefer being called....baby?" I asked playfully.
Nang napatigil siya ay agad akong tumawa. He's so cute! He shook his head as if he's having a problem, or more like disgusted!
"Call me Nathan. You're ridiculous. You're not even my type." He smirked. Ouch!
I laughed so hard after hearing his words. I mean I should be angry but I don't know I find it so funny. I winked at him. "That will definitely change." mapanuya kong sambit.
I have always been this playful. My teenage life was every father's nightmare. I had a lot of flings at a young age. Well it is not something to brag about, you see? I don't do boyfriends just flings and no attachments. I have always been my father's problem.
I owned the school and because of my father, everyone was afraid of me. Kung saan saan ako nakikipagrambulan, kung sino sino ang mga nakakabangga ko. The baddest bitch, the spoiled brat, the governor's worst daughter.
Umiiling nalang siyang itinuro ang isang kwarto kaya't sinundan ko iyon. I threw myself on the bed and closed my eyes. How long will I have to stay here anyway? Well, I think staying with Nathan is a great idea. My baby boy, I like him. He's handsome and my cup of tea. I giggled.
Still with my clothes on, nakatulugan ko ang sobrang pagod kahit umaga pa lang.
I was startled by a loud knock on my door. Agad akong napabalikwas at padabog na bumangon.
"It's lunch time, aren't you going to cook?" Supladong tanong ni Nathan. He's still handsome though.
"Nakahain na nga ang pagkain." Ngumisi ako nang tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay.
I rolled my eyes and pointed myself. "Ako, ako yung pagkain. " Mapanuya kong sambit.
I burst into laughter when his face turned sour. "You didn't even passed half of my standards." He insulted me.
Instead of feeling offended, I.. I am entertained. He's challenging. I like him.
I pouted when he turned his back on me and started to walk away, with both of his hands in his pockets. I bit my lip to suppress a smile, even his back is handsome!
Agad ko siyang sinundan, kinailangan ko pang bilisan ang lakad para mahabol siya. I was laughing in my head. He's really something.
"We can just order food, Nathan!" I suggested.
Ni hindi niya ako liningon at dirediretsong naglakad. I popped my cheeks when he remained silent.
"Yohoo? Nathan? I'm starving! Just order food!" I commanded as I continued to tail him from behind.
Nang bigla siyang huminto ay napatigil din ako. Agad na nagsalubong ang kilay at matalim akong tinignan. "What?"
"What what?" Tanong ko pabalik. I don't get him. Really. Humakbang siya papalapit, agad akong nahiya sa sarili. Hindi pa ako naligo!
"You're just a maid. In case you forgot." He pointed out.
I scratched my head thinking of a way. "I don't want to be your maid." I spat honestly.
He smirked. "Then, get out." He pointed the door.
Nanatili akong tamihik na tinitigan siya. I bit my lip when an idea popped on my mind.
"Let's negotiate." I suggested. He only raised his eyebrow so I continued speaking.
"I won't be your maid.....so I'll be your tenant instead. Kahit ilang buwan lang."
He laughed like I said something so funny. It's a great idea! "Tenant? So how much are you going to pay me? For monthly basis."
I mentally counted how much I can pay him. Like I said, I have to save up. Dahil kung hindi, mawawalan ako ng pagpipilian kundi ang ibenta ang mga alahas ko.
"I don't have much money. Can you give me a discount?" I blinked three times trying to act cute.
He pinched the bridge of his nose. I saw how his adams apple moved, it only made him look hotter though.
"Kung ayaw mo pa din, aalis na lang ako. I'll find another." I sighed exaggeratedly so he'd agree with my offer.
Agad kong pinalungkot ang mukha at kinurot ang braso para lumuha ng konte. I sniffed even without tears. "Kawawa naman ako." bulong ko.
He shrugged and licked his lips. Napabuga siya ng hangin ay muli akong tinignan gamit ang madilim na pares ng mata.
"Deal. Don't mess. Don't boss around. Don't meddle with my life." He warned me.
Ngiting tagumpay kong tinignan siya pabalik. He's quite challenging. I nodded playfully. "Give me food. I'm starving."
Ngumisi lang siya at tinaasan ako ng kilay. "Akala ko ba ikaw ang pagkain? Kainin mo, sarili mo."
My jaw dropped at his remarks. I dramatically held my chest. "Ikaw ang kaninin ko diyan e!"
Umiiling siyang tumalikod at naglakad papunta sa kwarto niya. But I can't be wrong, I saw the sides of his lips rosed. Napailing ako, he really is something huh?
"Ligawan kaya kita?" bulong ko sa hangin habang nakatingin sa pinto ng kwarto niya.
