He knows i just need
to sit on his lap
and tell him
pretty much everything
and i'll be okay

He knows i just need a hug
so he will hug me tight
hold my hands
until i fall asleep

He knows how to stay calm
even if i am burning with anger
It felt so real
behind the screen
